Came for the first time, food isn’t so great . I had the shrimp fajitas , they ain’t what they supposed to be . To much sauce like tomatoes sauce. Definitely didn’t like the flavor. The chips tasted a little stale salsa was blah . Not Mexican authentic.

Great restaurant with a good atmosphere and awesome service, serving some of the best Tex-Mex style dishes. The bar has a good selection of beers, mixed drinks and a few TV'S, so you can watch your favorite sports game while sipping on a margarita. There's a section on the East side of the bar with a few slot machines, just in case you want to try your luck on winning the jackpot. The back of the building also has a fenced-in outside patio with a few tables covered by umbrellas for open air dining. The food selection is very extensive and the food quality is very good. The service was amazing and they did a great job meeting our expectations. The parking lot is big and it can get full very quickly, but you can park on the street as well.

Not authentic Mexican cuisine, more on the Tex-Mex American style. Food is decent, lacks of flavour, not generous portions. Staffing is very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable.

Steak torta is vgood. The 1/2 lb burger is great. Friendly staff. July 2021. I tried the enchiladas stuffed w crabmeat- delicious! My wife tried the chicken mole, very delicious . Aug 2021 we tried the beef and chorizo empanadas- vgood. We split a plate of fajitas-chicken, carne asada, shrimp very delicious March 2022 I tried the Conchita pibil dinner- the shredded pork was very delicious . My wife had the steak torta. She really enjoyed it April 2022 stuffed carne asada and flautas super delicious. Super friendly staff. We tried the blackened mahimahi tacos- delicious !

We ordered fajitas combo, steak n chicken n shrimp, $28 dollars. We got 3 shrimps, 4 strips or chicken n 4 strips of steak, veggies, beans, sour cream, tiny guacamole and NO RICE. This by far was no what we expected. I will not eat there again. Drink was OK.

I got the carne asada and love the green sauce. My boyfriend got the stuffed carne asada and he said it was juicy and delicious. I would definitely come back again.

The first dish I ordered was really bad, so they gave me something else, which was very very good. It was the Burrito Suizo. It was phenomenal. The waiter was a little slow, but not his fault. The place was super busy and he was the only waiter there. You think during the holidays they would have more help.

Nice restaurant, good food. Had a special on Monday, Tuesday 2 dinners plus dessert for $24. Ordered the 3 tacos and beans, rice and the chicken and steak fajitas with beans, avocado, sour cream and tortillas, dessert was Key lime pie. Great deal will be back.

We have been coming here for about 25 years. Huge menu. My wife loves the Margaritas and the Mole sauce on enchiladas. Guacamole is also great. Outdoor dining available. Friday and Saturday are very busy.

We have been going there for over 20 yrs. We ordered the chicken burritos and they were disgusting. It was luke warm when served and chicken was old chicken So tough, had to throw it out. I would of complained immediately,but we know the two servers (brothers) for a long time. Shame on you Cafe Salsa for serving such disgusting foog!!!!

I'm giving a 3 because they were nice. But the food is not. The salsa is not even salsa. It tasted and looked like watery mushed up tomatoes. Horrible. No flavor or spice. I ordered steak fajitas those were ok. Edible. But I'm used to good authentic Mexican food and this place missed the mark.

I ordered catering (steak/chicken fajitas) for a 30 person graduation party and could not have been happier. Ordering was easy, food was fresh and delicious and packaged in sturdy containers that kept my food warm in my oven before setting out, good quality serving utensils were provided, all of the toppings and sauces are carefully packed and delicious. And, my guests devoured a gallon of the guacamole! Oh and the steak and chicken fajitas have a delicious char grilled flavor with lots of peppers and onions, but they don't skimp on the meat. I'll be ordering again, Thank you!!!!

Good Place for food and half price Margs on Wednesday. Good for kids. The margs are a little pricey if not on Wednesday. Nice friendly staff. Busy on Friday and Saturday evenings so be prepared to wait if over 5 people. They will take reservations for parties of 6 or more. Update: 8/22. Still a good place for Mexican food and margs

Good food, better drinks. I rate a Mexican spot by 2 things. 1. Margaritas 2. Guacamole They do both well. If you have enough of the 1st, you might not remember the 2nd. This place has been a mainstay for years.

Food was fresh and tasty, and customer service was great! Fried icecream was the best 😋. Also this was the only place I could find that would accept our party of 19 on a weekend with short notice, so thanks a bunch! Definitely recommend!

I used to love this place but it is a real struggle to get service in the bar area these days. I was looking for a bartender for 15 minutes or so and never came because she was on her phone the whole time. Also they advertise specials and then you go there to order them and you can't because they don't keep up-to-date with their menu. Just wish I could go there and order food.

The steak burrito was OUTSTANDING!! We are from Arizona, so we eat lots of Spanish food and this restaurant is home run. Would highly recommend and will definitely come back.

We placed an order for pick up and realized at home that some items were missing from our order. Specifically, beef was left off our nachos. We had company and small children over and didn't have a chance to call the restaurant that same night, but called the following day just to let them know. The hostess who answered the phone placed me on hold for a while and then finally picked back up and accused me of lying about the beef. I would have been satisfied with a free apology or a restaurant credit, but she doubled down and accused me of making up a story about missing items. Writing a review like this is out of character for me, but being accused of lying crosses a line. Fix your customer service Cafe Salsa.

You should come here for the quality and the delicious! We have always done pickup or patio, but he dining room is beautiful, such a treat for the senses! And to watch the chef put your meal together is like watching art in the making.

I had dinner here with a friend of mine. The food was delicious, and staff was friendly and welcoming. Our food was brought out promptly. Overall the place was great. Definitely a place to relax and have some drinks and enjoy a long day away from work.

Very good. Ordered pickup. A little pricey but the amount of food you get makes it worth it. The guacamole was fantastic!! Only thing I didn't like so much ironically was their salsa.

Good tasty food, very attentive staff. Just wish they would clean / wash there serving cups of water and wine. All else is good. Enjoy!

Cafe Salsa was our go to Mexican. Unfortunately when we ordered our favorite enchiladas , (they all used to be good ), we found they had changed from shredded ( chicken ) to premade chicken blocks that were untasty, and tough. Don't know if they've changed the other enchiladas. Sometimes change is not good. We ate only 1 of our 2 meals. GO BACK to the original food Cafe Salsa. It was really good. Rick

Went with over 40 people after a funeral. They slacked on taking care of my table completely. But once I spoke up we were well taken care of. The food was good the staff was kind to my family. I understand they may have been overwhelmed since we were such a large party.

My mom's favorite restaurant, so I probably eat here a little too much. Service is great, food is delicious. I'd highly recommend anything with their grilled steak or their enchiladas. Their fried ice cream is killer as well, and their margaritas are some of the strongest out there. My mom works in food, so I always trust her recommendations, and this one is definitely great!

Response to owner: Nope! We were definitely at Cafe Salsa. Perhaps you should discuss this with your staff. We spent $700 and would have spent more if there were tequila flights available. Two servers told us that there were no tequila flights. We were there this past Saturday. There is NO tequila bar, nor flight, which was our purpose for going. The food was not good. The drinks, but we ALL had a headache from them. The chips & salsa was the best thing we had.

Went for dinner. Both of us had different dishes and immediately felt ill. Could smell the Fabuloso from across the restaurant while we ate. Tortilla chips on the carpet flooring crunched under my feet. Had to shoo away fruit flies. Service was slow, restaurant empty. I really hesitate to leave a negative review, but I truly hope nobody else gets sick too.

I've had some very good to excellent Mexican meals here. Also a few that were nothing to brag about. Good drinks and atmosphere. The staff is friendly, accurate, attentive and sociable.

It looked like slop… a flat and deflated chili, Reno, soaked in a red sauce, next to runny loose refried beans and a sloppy pile of rice. Really the worst presentation 😣 Taste, just ok. Inappropriate unnecessary music playing that had nothing to do with a Spanish theme. Just ridiculous.. Chips and salsa were good.

If the management wants an utterly rude and incompetent staff, congrats you've got it. From the moment you enter the establishment until you're waiting excessively for your food or check, you can see the frustration on all the patrons faces. Our waiter was cringe worthy at how disrespectful he was to my family ordering as if we were an absolute annoyance to him. Tons of staff looking confused and disinterested in their jobs. We eventually walked out before getting our food. I've gotten better service and a proper greeting from a homeless person with a newspaper and a squeegee. If the atmosphere of the restaurant is they don't care then why should anyone wanting to dine there.

Food was pretty good. We did have some challenges in regard to service. There were six in our party but we were seated at a small round table clearly not large enough for 6 people. They had to pull up chairs from other tables to accommodate us. The server was very slow getting to us, and then made us feel rushed to order when she finally got to us. She just didn't seem like she was at all happy dealing with the public on that day anyhow. Just not pleasant.

Our steak taco dinners were delicious. 🌮 Mango margaritas were fire! 🍹 🔥 Staff was nice and consistent. ❤

Nothing authentic about Mexican food, salsa tastes more like tomato sauce, frijoles charros more like canned sweat beans, corn tortillas are a disappointment especially when warmed on microwave and queso fundido samething 😤😤, can only say something positive is about the drinks they were pretty good imo. Def not going back

Food was very underwhelming for the price. We received our food 5 minutes after we ordered so we were skeptical on the quality. Meat was cold and the servings were small. I will not come back. Over $18 for two tacos + beans/rice. Overall rating is misleading, I noticed a lot of the recent ratings were very low.
