On 08-17-23 around 2:45 I went through the drive-through to place my order, the person answering the drive-through speaker asked me what’s your order!! I didn’t have second thought about the way the person harsh question over the speaker I placed my drove up to get my order, now that’s were the fun begins. I ordered 2 fish sandwich’s & 12 chicken rings, what I received was three hamburgers. I parked the car and went inside and spoke to the cashier, she greeted me in a polite manner, and I told her what was wrong with my order. As I was waiting for my order to be corrected, the person at the drive-through window looked over at me and asked what was wrong and the cashier from the front told her and the drive-through cashier giggled and mom mumbled something to the cashier was out front, and they both laughed. I love that location cause it’s close to my job, but Chick-fil-A is right next-door I think that’s where my business will be going from now on.

This place could be better for sure. I am a fan of White Castle and was disappointed when I took my family here. They missed items on our order, messed up our order and didn’t make it right the following time. They didn’t offer forks to us for our waffles which are messy so that’s fun. The cashier was touching her face over and over again while taking our order. The manager took a sandwich back to add the toppings that were rang in correct but missed and returned it back 10 min later…. Same sandwich and it was not eaten obviously because it was so old and cold at this point. A few simple things could have made our order and dine in experience much better.

I worked here 16 years ago. Always had to remake food with limited staff. The staff is terrible. The only person who is good is sandy. She's kind and always takes care of everyone. I came in tonight and someone I have not met who was in dreads and out of code for their hair was blase on my order and was rude to me for my order. Honestly not their fault, it's whoever runs it now should be ashamed that they have such a low staff and make them so stressed. Shame that they need to deal with it.

10/27/23 at 830am drove off w/o food. 2 ppl in front of me. Employees swearing back at customer. Very bad. Could not wait 30 min for food. Had to be at work. Manager was also involved yelling at this lady. This is definitely going to the corporate office. Situations like this, are not safe. Especially nowadays!!!!!

This location has always been one of the best in the Chicagoland area. It's open 24 hours, and the drive thru is always busy, so the sliders are fresh and made to order. When everywhere else is closed and you get that craving... this is definitely the spot.

Very rude workers. Nobody acknowledged five people waiting for about 10 minutes then a man with either locks or wicks had the worse attitude and got smart with me about waiting for my order i waited 45 minutes for 3 cases of sliders . Not coming back ever.

I always love white castle. However the last 3 times I've gone thru the drive thru its been BAD. 2 Times in a row I asked for everything on my burgers .only to be disappointed when I bit into a DRY burger. I never complained. Tonight I checked my burgers before pulling away. You guessed it no mustard n ketchup. I told the guy 2 times. The girl that took my money was a deer in the headlights. They remade my Sliders w. So much mustard n ketchup they weren't edible. It's was like she did it for spite. It wasn't my fault . I'm never going back except to see the manager.

It's Whitie's. Whitie one bites. Sliders and fries or onion rings, people seem to love 'em or won't go near 'em. Be prepared for a bit of indigestion, and for the full effect, stop by about 2 am. I love 'em so give these fast food palaces a solid recommendation.

It's White Castle so my expectations were low to start. Drive thru was taking forever to move forward and when I got to the window I seen why. The kid working there clearly hated his job, didn't say a word, reached for my credit card and basically threw the bag of food at us. So quick I nearly dropped it. Don't expect much, but won't be back for a bit. They truly impressed me on how far below expectations they could fall.

I've worked fast food and understand the struggle it can be, but this place is ridiculous, sorry. There have been multiple times when I've waited over 20 minutes at the drive through and been either the only car or one of two. If your employees are on lunch or there's going to be a break, you really need to clarify that when people pull in to order. I usually stop in before work or on my lunch break and really don't have the time to be waiting 20 minutes for fast food.

A fine white castle. I have yet for them to mess up an order in the drive thru. The food quality is: white castle. They are usually pretty quick in preparing your food.

Food was great maybe the 3 workers were over worker but that aditude was thick..like I didn't tell you to work here..anyways my first time and them little chees bugers and onion rings hit the spot I had 5 dabble chees lol what's up with not having a large onion ring

This location in Countryside was a much better experience than the last location we tried (Ogden and Harlem in Berwyn). It was clean, the employees were friendly and knowledgeable, and food was freshly cooked.

Started doing business here in 1950 and satisfied then till now. That's 74 years of good service and good food. Prices were lots better then. But so were all others.

The food was good as normal but the service was not great. We got the wrong size drinks, we asked for 2 large and 1 medium but instead got 2 medium and 1 large. Not a big deal but did set us back.

I have always liked the taste of White Castle's. Of course I'm much older now and, like everything else the hamburger itself is much smaller now. I also really love their onion rings. They are still a whole onion ring and not minced onions like so many other places. I will go back.

Slowest White Castle I have ever been to! Service in both dine in and drivet thru is horrendous! Don't bother ordering on line to expedite it either; they don't start making the order until you get there to pick it up.

They say heaven is a place on earth. The day I went to this White Castle I believed I found where heaven really exists. Hardworking staff and food almost good enough to risk a DUI. Peace and blessings yall.

I gave this place 4 stars based on my experience with other White Castle locations. The food was as expected and consistent with other locations. The 1921 burger is my new favorite and it's tasty. Also, I'm a fan of the WC onion rings! The staff at this location seems to be friendly than other locations I've been too. Not that I'm complaining about the service at other locations. They just seem to be happier here. The atmosphere was a bit lacking. It's really small inside and the layout is a bit different but hey, take it with a grain of salt. It's not like I expected a fine dining experience with white tablecloths. I like this White Castle location.

We don't have no White Castle anywhere near were I reside, driving through Chicago we decided to stop and get some for the road placed a large order the staff was friendly and courteous got everything we ordered quickly and HOT, everyone was happy n no left overs wish you can open up a location in Ft Wayne Indiana

My father loved taking us to white castle as kids. I've continued to enjoy it in the years since. The sliders they offer are unique and delicious.

The person working the window was wearing a neck gaitor, didnt speak ONE WORD. Not hello, not the total, not thank you...NOTHING. just took the cash, gave me my bags and shut the window. Terrible customer service. Oil tasted dirty

Nothing tastes like a White Castle cheeseburger! Soft, gooey, warm, melts in your mouth. Wonderful pickles. If you grew up with it, you crave it. Don't pretend it's good for you. It's comfort food.

I never thought in a million years I would be reviewing a White Castle, but one item was so terrible I had to vent. The disappointment was the onion rings, simply disgusting. They smelled like liver and tasted like fish. Smelled and tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in a very long time. Threw the orders away. The sliders and fries were ok but we could hardly taste them after the onion rings left a coat of stale oil on our tongues. The very long wait was not a surprise. I understand it's very hard to find people who are willing to work in fast food. But it's better to be closed because of staffing issues, than to have customers wait a very long time to be served terrible tasting food. I get a craving once a year for sliders, after this I won't be back for five years.

This is the 2nd time they stated they are not open at 3:30 am after they served me at 3:30am earlier in the week. For being the only food place open around the area they certainly arnt taking advantage of it for the overnight worker

Had to wait almost 15 minutes to place and receive my order. Was kind of greasy and onions seemed over cooked I always regret eating at White Castle but I at some point keep coming back

Food was great, only issue was the employees. We pulled up to the drive thru, and sat in silence for 5 mins. There was a car in front of us at the window so we knew they were still open, we said 'Hello?' and the lady annoyed responded 'We'll help you in a second'. Sat there for another 10 mins and finally took our order. Only plus side was we received our door pretty quickly.

Stopped in for a quick bite. Stood in line for several minutes before I was even acknowledged and it gave me the impression that everyone who worked here hated their job! The burgers were mushy but edible, also half the selections in the soda machine were out! The next time I crave White Castles, I WONT be visiting this one!!

Just one of many White castles I have visited over the years just like McDonald's they stay consistent with the quality of their food I really like the jalapeno cheeseburgers sliders.

They have the most horrible service ever .!! And their excuse is always that they’re understaffed.!! Place needs to be shut down immediately or hire better staff

Store was out of seasoned slider patties? Service was friendly on a Thursday night, but the sliders I did get were soggy. Not the usual steam damp. Just...weird, wet bread.

Service was good. Drive thru was fast, order was right and the employee was polite. Only one complaint, the employee behind the employee in the drive thru was yelling the FWORD. Not professional. There could have been children in my car.

You can never go wrong with White Castle & they got our order right ! One tip..you have to ASK for ketchup and mustard now..it doesn't automatically come with burgers anymore. Friendly service lady was nice enough to advise me.

Other than the extremely rude girl with a bridge piercing. Who commented "it's a good thing I'm wearing a mask because I always forget to smile" it was a good experience. The other workers were friendly and didn't act like they wanted harm to come to the customers the way she did.

Ordered 4 chicken sliders 1 medium frie and 1 medium sprite got the fries and sprite no sliders wasted my lunch waiting on just fries and a drink.
