On
our
way
across
from
Whitehaven
I
received
a
call
from
the
owner
asking
if
we
needed
to
book
a
table
at
the
restaurant
that
night.
Unfortunately
I
said
no.
On
arrival
the
only
space
left
was
5.30pm
the
rest
of
the
evening
was
fully
booked
which
just
shows
how
popular
it
is.
Nipped
to
the
chippy
to
curb
our
hunger
later
on
so
great,
but
not
as
good
as
the
French
cuisine
on
offer
in
the
restaurant..
The
French
theme
appears
throughout
both
the
bar,
restaurant
and
our
room,
as
obviously
the
owners
are
from
France.
Our
room
was
well
decorated
and
split
up
on
two
levels
with
the
bathroom
on
the
top
attic
floor.
This
is
great
as
it
doesn't
feel
cramped
and
nothing
felt
as
if
it
was
jammed
in.
The
owner
was
really
friendly
and
chatted
to
us
as
we
had
a
beer
outside
after
our
arrival.
The
Hudeshope
Beck
runs
at
the
back
of
the
property
and
whilst
you
can
see
it
from
there
the
best
view
I
had
was
from
the
bridge
a
short
walk
away.
If
you
are
visiting
the
area
it's
definitely
worth
trying
to
book
here
just
remember
to
grab
a
table
when
offered.
