This was a really interesting place. Beautiful view of the Potomac and don't tell anyone, one of the trails has a sandy beach on it :)

Wonderful small park with large butterfly meadow, beautiful forest, and well manicured grounds with the historic and gorgeous Hendry House.

It’s a nice little park not far from Rosslyn, Arlington. The trail is pretty short that visitors can easily finish within 30 minutes. There are usually not many people, giving it a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere. Overall, we enjoy our walk here.

I had a great childhood largely due to this park. I grew up climbing these trees, conversing with the honey bees, and scaring off kids who would come to smoke weed in the parking lot.

Great park for many events including walking, running, sitting, watching nature, kids camp activities, and social events. There are a few buildings and many large fields. There are paths through woods. Field works and historical information including a cannon from the civil war help provide context to the park.

Awesome Civil War history site and an amazing park to walk. Quiet and relatively unknown, it's an extremely peaceful place. Great place to take the kids on a walk.

This park is great for a short walk and to see some historic building. They sometimes open the buildings, check the website for more info. There is a loop with some nice forest but nothing too wild. It's important to note there are not actually fortification here.

This is a historic park with a historic house that can be inexpensively rented if you are and Arlington county resident for special events. It's a nice park to walk through with very old trees, bird houses and more. There is also a small museum.

Very nice and beautiful park. Has parking, trails, and is generally one of the larger parks for this area which makes it a nice peaceful place to visit and explore A nice gem!
