As a non-bicyclist with my group, Chris and Vicky made me feel part of the group from the start. They were concerned about how I would occupy my time while the others biked, and I assured them that I would be content. At the start of the trip, Chris did a really thorough job of explaining the proper operation of the e-bikes. He also allowed flexibility...there were a couple of days when members of our group chose NOT to ride. The meals were great! There was a real sense of family as we gathered at the end of the day for dinner. We all felt welcomed and at home while we were there. There were a couple of days when the group did short rides, and Chris and Vicky took us to nearby towns for sight-seeing and shopping. The environment around us was splendid. The views were breathtaking, and one night we stood and waited for the International Space Station to pass overhead. Each morning, I loved waking to sounds of birds chirping outside our window. Amazing experience with Chris, Vicky and the boys. Chris and Vicky were able to customize a lovely almost 2 week trip for us with a blend of point to point cycling as well as some hub and spoke cycling out of their lovely farmhouse. The cycling itself is some of the most scenic you will Ever ride on quiet roads, both paved and unpaved. Every day after riding it really felt like coming home after experiencing some of the most scenic rides Imaginable. Vicky and Chris went out of their way To make sure they were great meals prepared that were tasty and gluten-free for our one celiac traveler. It was an epic trip and a beautiful location and we can’t wait to go back.
