Looking for Extraordinary Mountain views, trails and meadows for walking, and a stone cottage 10 minutes up a dirt road, with a swimming pool? This is that heaven. My wife, our twin 13 year olds and I needed to leave the city behind badly, but not civilisation & the internet. The owners, Jane & Felix are attentive but not intrusive - she makes an incredible Duck Cassoulet! Our daughter loved walks with the dogs to the 17th Century chateau and I found peace reading on our patios. There are five cabins and no one else for acres. By car (you will need one to get here) its 20 minutes to Catalonian villages & abbeys, an hour to the Costa Brava! It's been two weeks, and I still see the snow capped Pyrenees.
