For me a 5 star review doesn’t mean staying or eating food in a 5 star hotel. For me it’s all about the food, the service, quality. Sri Lankan Street food and cafe is a small stall near the city centre. I went to the stall at 9:10 pm to have my dinner. I ordered chicken fried rice and chicken curry. It came with fried crushed chilli prawns. The dish was delicious. One can sit outside and enjoy the food. I loved their service too. I will go there again.

We went there last night for the first time. It was amazing and excellent customer service. Food is really nice. I would highly recommended this place without any doubts👍🏽 Best Sri Lankan food in Coventry👌🏻You have to come to experience it!! Parking: There is a free parking in front of the restaurant.

Got the daily menu, delivered!!! It was sooo good, worth every penny and at such a reasonable price. Will be coming here many many more times!! The mutton curry is to die for!!

We've been to a few Sri Lankan restaurants in the area and honestly this had the best food! Everything tasted like your favourite dishes from back home. Highly recommended the pork curry and pittu!

I had a wonderful experience at Sri Lankan Street Food and Cafe. The Chicken Fried Rice I ordered was incredibly flavorful, especially with the delightful spicy and slightly sweet crunchy red chili sauce. It's evident that this family-owned and -operated restaurant takes pride in their dishes and excellent customer service. This is a really good Sri Lankan restaurant that serves authentic food just as if you are having back home. Been here few times before giving this review and I must tell that all the dishes like the Kothu, Fried rice and short eats(fish buns, rolls, sausage buns) are delicious! Prices are very reasonable too.

The best Sri lankan chicken fried rice ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 Stars without a doubt! Travelled far to try out their food and wasn’t disappointed at all. Mango Lassi was super rich and creamy and Falooda was right on the spot! Mutton roll was top notch. I would definitely recommend this place in a heartbeat.

The food here is just delicious! It tasted like a home cooked meal. Both price and the quantity is highly reasonable. And the customer service is commendable as well.Will definitely be coming here again.

Amazinggg Sri Lankan food very close to Coventrys main town. This is all done in a trailer where they cooked us one of the best Chicken Kothu Rotis I’ve ever tasted and Special Biriyani. The lady serving us was so sweet which made the food taste homely. Portions were generous and good for its value. Special Biriyani was £9, comes with 4 extra curries, egg and onion salad. The only let down would be the dining in option. As it’s a trailer, it does not have proper seating, only a few chairs and tables placed but better than nothing. It does get very cold as they only have one heater for customers. I would definitely eat here again.

We ended up getting Chicken Kottu and Pork Curry and can recommend them both. We got large and regular respectively and regular by itself is a decent portion size. Can also recommend the Mango Lassi.
