Food took an hour to be served even though the place was quiet. Steak was blue rare when it was meant to be medium rare. Waitress didn’t speak a word to us before or during. Ordered an ice cream for the toddler and left after 30 minutes of waiting. Ended up telling the family on our left if it ever comes one of their kids could eat it. Awful time, won’t be coming again.

Nice place, clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Beer was excellent. I really enjoyed my visit.

If you and your family want reasonably priced family dinner you can't really go wrong here. Don't expect Gordon Ramsay but you won't get charged that either. Had a problem with one of the kids dinners and it was sorted out quickly along with a free pudding. Talking of puddings, they are well worth a look. The chocolate brownie is excellent.

We were staying in the area so called in for breakfast over two days as it is a dog friendly establishment. We had the large cooked breakfast on the first day which was absolutely huge - and beat both of us even with the assistance of the dog ! It came with the endless tea/coffee option. The second visit we had the classic breakfast and the sausage and egg batch which was nicely done and presented. It's not a gourmet food place but the food was well cooked and presented, the welcome was warm and friendly. The decor is a little tired but as it's a chain pub I have no doubt it's on a list

Dirty floors and tables. Rude staff when asking politely where our food was after waiting over 50mins. Forgotten orders "all desserts" This place used to be a lot better but has fallen hard on its face.

Wrong food size mixed grill came out and on one steak was suppose to be medium but was blue, so overall experience was shocking. Staff very friendly and really accommodating tho, free dessert for all the issues with the main

It was our first visit to The Nugget. The whole experience from start to finish was amazing. The service given by both Taren and Mandy was incredible and completely faultless. The food was tasty and hot, we were so impressed we booked for Mother’s Day evening too.

I'm not one for pubs and I'm really fussy when it comes to food... But I can honestly say.. I really enjoyed my night with good company in a pub with a lively atmosphere... And the food was very reasonably priced and delicious... I really really enjoyed it... Even though the pub was really busy and there were almost no tables the food came out very quickly and hot...well done guys

Nice relaxing tea with a couple of pints. Good customer service and value for money, but don’t forget to register your car parking once you enter the Nugget if not on foot.

We came across this place a couple of weeks ago driving round looking for breakfast one Sunday morning (we had stayed overnight in Coventry due to work) The Nugget is clean, well presented, welcoming and friendly. We ordered a large breakfast each which arrived promptly and tasted delicious. We were so impressed by the food, price and overall service we returned the following Sunday (as we'd stayed in Coventry again) for breakfast before our journey back home to Hull 😊

Had a party of 20 last night. Food all came out quick together and piping hot. Not my local sizzler but will definitely be eating there again and will recommend for further big party’s. Thankyou nugget for a brilliant experience and atmosphere the young waiter was lovely and polite and the bar staff was amazing with all of us wanted drinks.

Place was very well maintained and clean. food was of good quality. Price is nothing that I'd pick out about as its all reasonably priced. food and drinks were served as ordered and the staff were friendly and welcoming.

We had a fantastic meal, it was busy but the service was great. The food was hot and came out sizzling. I had the salmon it was cooked to perfection. A guest in our party had a blue steak .. and it was actually blue ! It made my day

What an evening. With the kids finishing school and a long day. The disco 🕺 and karaoke went down fantastically for everyone. all the staff were dressed up in school uniforms and certainly enjoying the atmosphere. Although busy everyone was smiling . The garden was a great safe area for the kids to play and wear them selves out. Well done The Nugget team 👍🏼

The food was fantastic quality. The quiz clashed with the football. Atmosphere was mixed and the quiz felt separate. Staff were all fantastic and helped show both games of football

Came with my grandchildren , service on entry was very quick at the bar, happy bar staff, quite rare at the moment, straight to a table, so we could order food. Food came quick, which is fab when the kids are hungry. Met a chap call Charlie, who was very attentive to me and all other dinners. Service and food is always great. Katie was very attentive from he moment we sat down, before so even as she cleaned the table for us. Food was hot on arrival and whole team really friendly. We come once a month on average and have brought family and friends as well. The interior could possibly do with a little make over so the looks matched the standard of service and food but other than that we enjoy coming. The general manager who works the bar and brings the drinks is great. Always very friendly and accommodating of any request.

I have recently dinned with a party of over 20 at this place. Whilst we had no idea the car park was not for patrons and have a car park mafia demanding money after I paid for all by card on site ? and we even thought they had our registration but they say not , so be careful here

We went on a Saturday afternoon to celebrate a birthday. The place is nice, the service was really friendly and quite good for a pub . Food............ No! I just woke up and, as we went yesterday, I am feeling sick! the atmosphere was nice though... I would go back for a beer or a glass of wine before going somewhere else for dinner 😅

I would like to say thank you to all the staff . I had a meal with family and friends to celebrate my youngest 18th birthday . They made us feel really welcome and the food was amazing . It was lovely night all round will definitely be coming again

Went to the nugget for my son's birthday meal. But was disappointed with the food and service. The young lady at the bar was pleasant and professional. However when the food arrived we were very disappointed. We had 2 mix grills and 2 chicken combos. The young lad who brought out the meals did so in such an unprofessional way I was shocked and unimpressed he threw the steak knife down on the table and didn't bring us the pepper corn sauce. As for the meals all the chicken was over cooked dry and tasteless the mix grill the steak was rare and bloody when we asked for it to be medium. The gammon was under cooked over salted and grim.

OK we went as school finished but place was lovely and staff very helpful. Good value for money as part of chain bit great none the less. Will definitely be going back

I can't believe Bill was with us last time with my sons. One has gone and the other two have grown up and left the nest. The Nugget is a family favorite with everyone local. Very money friendly. Good old fashioned pub with a menu to suit all. Surf and Turf tonight. Bring it on. Bring the children, set the oldman up with a pint. Oh yeah, kids eat for a £, very good!

Disappointed. Under cooked peas and chips. Lady who brought cutlery etc to the table. didn't speak. Wasn't asked how our food was during meal. Poor customer service. to say the least.

We thought the food was great value for money and really tasty! The pub was cleaned regularly as well. Danny was really friendly and welcoming.

My partner and I came in the other night for food and drinks and the food was delicious! The drinks were reasonably priced and we were greeted into a nice warm atmosphere. Highly recommend! will be back again soon.

Where Coventry's upper working class of semi-detached property wealth go to drink. Unremarkable chain pub that is clean, orderly and family friendly. The food is passable, the drinks are decent with a good range. Major sports events are shown on the TVs. There is a fair amount of parking and a huge beer garden outside.

Perfect day out for mothers day, easily booked table, had a highchair ready for the baby, put in section with plenty of other young kids and families ( my kids can be loud it's nice to be around other noise). The young girls waitresses today couldn't of been more nice, and they were quite busy.

Looks impressive inside and out, nice shape with good decor. Good menu choices and the prices are also good. Cater for vegetarians and vegans which is great. Although we had to wait a long time for the meals when it arrived it was nice. My husband's steak was a bit chewy but overall it was a good night out.

All I ask is that Chef cooks me a plate of food that is edible and satisfying, I don't want an offer of a free pudding when I get the opposite. What we got was cold, overcooked and unappetising, how can you get what is essentially 2 toasties and a side of chips so wrong? I did tell a very pleasant member of the bar staff how poor it was and I did decline his offer of 'I'll see what I can do'. Like I said, I just want a nice meal and feel valued. Come on guys, that was poor, very poor.
