First time here and really enjoyed it. Came because my partner loved the name of the pub. Wasn't expecting much but was taken away by the quality of the food. Didn't taste like it was from farmfoods. Had a wide selection of drinks which can be ordered at the bar or using the app. Had a Strongbow Dark Fruit Slushie which was just the best, specially since it was warm outside. Staff are super friendly, had a bit of a laugh with them. Plenty of space for parking and nice scenery with the trees surrounding the pub. Not expensive also which is good. All in all, would definitely go again. Wasn't super busy also and this was on the bank holiday.

Following my experience today at this Public House i will no longer be visiting it again The all day breakfast was terrible In fact a 2 year old kid could have cooked it better and hygienically the bacon was cooked in old dirty oil/fat the eggs were rock hard I asked for white bread and butter They gave me burnt toast And to top it all There was corner of a clear PLASTIC BAG Obviously i did complain and the bar maid was very good BUT THAT EXCUSE FOR A MANAGER WOULD NOT GIVE ME OR MY FRIEND AN APPOLIGY and was very insulting We have been using this pub a few times in the afternoon for birthday parties this last couple of months Up to 16 people BUT NOW ? ahahhaha need i say more GOODBYE WORST PUB IN COVENTRY

I hadn't been here for about 15 years! I was pleasantly surprised. Brilliant menu especially for the kids and Sunday lunch was surprising good at a fab price.

Just moved to Eastern Green and decided to visit the pub. Had our lunch here. Atmosphere was great. Staff lovely. Food delicious, the chips are so good! Would definitely recommend.

2 different places, Wacky Warehouse brilliant, staff were super friendly. Then went into the attached pub Unicorn, food cheap and nasty. You can be inexpensive, but still do a decent plate of food. My grandson took one look at his pizza and was not impressed! Do Wacky and skip Unicorn!

We booked a table for 15. We knew service would be tricky, but it took so long for the orders to be taken when the 3rd person was ordering, the first lot of food was already out. There were lots of staff having a natter but not helping the girl on the till who was also making drinks. The food when out was delicious. The kitchen staff had done a great job. It's the shame about the front of house.

Had a very pleasant breakfast, it was very quiet which probably helped, but the staff was very polite and helpful. The food was great, excellent value for money.

It’s a pretty average pub. Nothing special. It was quiet so we were able to find a table away from people which was nice. The table was very sticky and I had to really put some effort into moving the menu holder as it was stuck to the table. They drink I wanted was out of stock but I was suggested a similar drink which was nice. My mum ordered the half chicken sizzler which came without the peppers and onions but we didn’t mind enough to complain. She said that the chicken was very dry and tough and that the coleslaw tasted weird. I ordered the southern fried chicken skewers which again came without the sizzling onions but again I didn’t mind enough to get up and complain. My chicken was ok but again a little dry. The fries were nice. I would like to point out that no one came to check if our food was ok after delivering the food to the table so if we had wanted to mention the missing onions or the dry chicken we would have had to go up to the bar. All in all, a pretty average pub, nothing special. We are glad we got the meals on the Tuesday deal and didn’t pay full price for them as they would not have been worth it.

When you go to a place, with a lot of tables free, you don t like to be treated bad and listen that the place is not able to attend a group of 10 people, like I heard today when there by the manager, making his own show for everyone around to listen. Sad, because does not make any sense a behavior like that. I know that the economy in UK is not in his best after Euro, but education and organization is something basic! If you work with people, do the best to treat them well.

Very disappointed with our experience last night. Pre booked a table for 9. Waited well over 40 minutes for food. Not enough cutlery on the table or condiments. There was 9 of us in total and over half the food came out cold. Some of the chips were under cooked and hard. Peas were dry. Meat was warm, some cool. Two members of the party were ill this morning, they both had the same meal. Toilets were very dirty. Ladies were stained and tissue all over floor in two cubicles. Men's had urine over seats. Had to take the children in to the disabled toilet. Very disappointed considering it's a hungry horse.

I was very nervous about spending our Christmas Day here for a meal as previous expirences at Hungry Horses have always been OK at very best.......BUT this restaurant is a true diamond in the rough for the Hungry Horse chain. *The pub is clean and free from ground in food on the seats and cutlery. Tables were decorated with crackers and presents for the kids. *Food portions were very good, maybe too good. Was very tasteful and courses were served when we were ready not when they were ready. *Staff were pleasant and you could tell they wanted to make the day special for us. Will definitely see you again for Christmas 2023, if not before.

Ideal place to visit for a meal and a drink. Superb refurbishment has given visitors to The Unicorn a choice of nice cosy corners or larger areas if a group of folks call in for a social occasion. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Rough.... local lads f-ing and blinding, and football fans chanting throughout our late Sunday afternoon family visit. Table was dirty, we asked for it to be cleaned but in the end had to clean it ourselves. Food was ok, not bad, but not special. Drinks reasonably priced. Wouldn't rush back...

We visited the wacky warehouse for a children's party, which is a separate part of the Unicorn. Fun and entertaining enough for the children. The staff member was very helpful and polite. There was plenty to offer for the adults without having to go to the main bar. Plenty of parking and in a nice location.

Came for a meal for my dads birthday, just want to say the service was excellent. Our meals were lovely and fairly priced, overall great experience at the unicorn!

Food in this place is awful. Staff are running around like headless chickens when its not even busy. Gave a star due to the fact they let us book for a large table at short notice however I had to drive there to book it because they don't answer the phone, and they don't call back when you leave a message. I had my 10 month old with me and had to go looking for a high chair, once I got told where one was by a staff member; I had to wipe it down myself as it was covered in beans. We got our food at all different times even though we HAD NOT ordered separately and we waited a long time for it. We then ordered desserts and after 30 minutes of waiting, I had to ask where they were as I had to be somewhere at a specific time; she then said they were doing them; 20 minutes later I had to enquire where they had gone again; I ended up leaving with mine and my sister's dessert in takeaway boxes. Witnessed the female staff member shouting at the young male telling him to hurry up and telling customers that he is doing her head in. I will not be returning ever again.

Great family pub, my kids love the play area. My youngest had a party last week and Sarah who looked after us did everything, from party bags, balloons, cake cutting and was so friendly. Thank you unicorn and Sarah.

Part of the hungry horse chain so pretty much as expected. Food is fairly good with decent menu options and food deals depending on the day. Fairly inexpensive and will definitely consider returning when we are next in Coventry

I’ve come here quite often over the past couple months for food and drinks, and I’m always amazed with the quality of the food and how helpful and friendly all the staff are. Every single staff member I have met have been amazing, I’m often served by Taya, who is always serving with a smile! And the food here is absolutely unreal, One of the chefs called Karlie has cooked my food quite a few times and I’m never disappointed. It really is such a welcoming atmosphere, I would highly recommend to anyone whether it’s for a family day out for some food or drinks with friends.

Had my daughters birthday meal here, food was delicious and staff were so nice & friendly. Kids went into the soft play afterwards, they loved it. Will be returning in the future for sure!

Food is well priced but mostly overcooked. On the website it claims it's dog friendly but wouldn't let my relatives chihuahua sit with us under the table. The servers are mixed, one was lovely and the other two looked like they wanted to be anywhere else.

Came here with my children, we went in to the horse play and they absolutely loved it, great service the staff were very polite. We had food there which was probably the nicest food we’ve had from any restaurant in a while! The chefs name was Karlie the food was lovely and her presentation was on point, would definitely recommend going there with children for food and play!

Rang up to book a table and spoke to Beth who was very accommodating and managed to get us a table. Dan on the bar was brilliant, friendly and had a smile on his face the whole time. The food was amazing and overall a great experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good reasonably priced meal out

I went to the Unicorn last Wednesday with my wife and kids and was lovely, had a family friendly environment and had a quiz on which was perfect for the wife and kids. Tim served us on the bar and was very friendly and had a laugh with him and pours a good pint. Ellis and Jake brought out our food and was very approachable and friendly. Overall a very pleasant experience and would recommend :)

Came down on Mother’s Day with my mum and family. The service was quick, I was served by Beth who was very friendly and recommended me to try the chicken & waffles. Our food was delicious and so was the gin selection will definitely be back again.
