Very rude security outside. Especially to the ladies. Picking and choosing who gets in next no matter how long each individual had been in the queue. One particular bouncer even threatened to ban customers who disagreed with him about football. This was not in a jokey way. He was very serious. Unacceptable behaviour which spoils what is supposed to be a fun experience

I am writing a review on here since I emailed Glamorous team and received no response at all. I would like to say that I visited the bar recently and one of your bar staff has treated my friends and myself with an attitude and really bad customer service for no reason. It was my friend’s birthday and I have ordered some shots and requested one extra and the man that served us completely disrespected us. He was going around whether we will pay for the shots and if we don’t want them he will take them back and we can leave the place. This person was not listening and was keep telling me that I need to pay although the issue wasn’t the payment. Eventually, I told him to calm down and that I will pay the bill and then he left. He didn’t even bring the extra shot and he didn't even apologise.The customer service is completely unacceptable especially in these times.

horrible bouncers who are very anti-black and treated my friend and i horribly. They even took a picture of my ID claiming it wasn’t real. They also threatened to call the police on my friend before we even entered the club so we just left. never going back there and definitely checking reviews next time, there is a reason they are so low.

I went there hoping for a good time(non judgmental, inclusive, yk all things that a ‘gay bar’ is ‘supposed’ to stand for). It was quite disappointing to be honest . There were plenty of people who were really nice. However, the bartender was VERY rude to all of us, despite us being very nice and respectful. She was so disrespectful and discriminatory! She was terrible! I don’t really go around feeling like people are racist to me but this one actually was! The pool table was okay and the space was not bad, and that why they got one star.. but the bartender was racist. I didn’t feel comfortable at all in that space 🚮🚮!!

The girl ‘coffee’ behind the bar is an absolute treat. Lovely woman with brilliant service with a smile. A fantastic ambassador for the bar, she should be proud of herself. Also jack and adam who were both a fantastic help with great service They all deserve a raise!!!

Very disappointed experience here. Very reluctant to go back which is a shame as the venue is a lovely space and you can tell money has been spent to refurbish the establishment.

Rude staff. Glam was a great night out, that was before the staff banned me. I payed a pound to a member of staff downstairs to get my phone charged. When I collected my phone at the end of the night, it hadn't charged and was still dead. So I politely asked for my pound back and the security guards refused to give me a refund. That was when I noticed that the woman who had supposedly put my phone on charge was stood at the top of the staircase. I said "Ask her, I gave her the pound for my phone to be charged." She remained mute and began smirking. This irritated me. Not because I had lost a pound, but the principle. I was rightfully entitled to a refund when I was presented with a dead phone after specificaly being told that it was on charge. I did express my anger at this point and they didn't like it so that's how I was banned. I also think the staff can be very judgmental at times, turning people away solely because of their outfit.

Not a lgbtqia friendly place as this is the only bar in the city open till 6 am, so when other places close, everyone drunk comes over. Because of that the place is not safe for the gay youth.

Disrespectful to their staff ( two walked out while my son worked there) The manager has been known to say ‘ I don’t care what people think of me’ .. Yet the owners still employ this same manager, who lords it over a toxic environment. Place always empty and now I know why. They have nothing in place for those with unseen disabilities . We need venues for the gay community, but sadly this one needs a complete overhaul

Arrived at glam for the first time and tried to play pool and we didn’t see the very small print poster asking for a £5 deposit despite this we paid for the pool The bartender was very rude in asking for the £5 and said that we couldn’t play it and refused to give us out money back. Good vibe but terrible bar staff! Would not recommend and stay away at all costs!!!

We were having a great time and suddenly I went to the bathroom, he was waiting for me, all pedantic and pedantic, telling me to get out that I was very drunk and that I couldn't go in anymore. And what do you say? and my partner was talking to the manager who was useless and a terrible person who was rude and imvesil in his way of expressing himself that I can enter because I was very drunk which I didn't even drink 2 beers is illogical bad attention and homophobic and pessimistic vigilantes

Had a bad experience here with one of the security guards trying to force me to buy a drink in a rather aggressive manner. Go to The Yard instead.

Love glam Bruce especially always makes us feel welcome great guest appreciation never had a bad time when they've been working happily come again

Truly awful place. The bouncers are very nasty, and treat you like cattle yelling and shoving you. Overall feels run down, toilets have all the mirrors ripped off. Mostly a place straight people go after other clubs have closed. Just put the place out it's misery, would be no great loss to Coventry's "scene".

The bar man Bruce is the reason I come here! We love him ! Make sure when you go you see him.

i would personally like to say that bruce, shane and roy are my favorites. every night i come here and they are working or parting i have an amazing time <3 thank you 3 and the rest of the staff for making it a comfortable, safe place xxx

Had a reasonably good night but due to the people I was with not thanks to the staff. This used to be a good venue many many years ago but The Yard up the road is a much better night out. I wouldn't recommend it here

Had been threated extremely bad as a drag queen and had been kicked off due to bad management. Extremely rude managers beware.

It’s literally the worst place ever… it’s good when you first go, it’s a vibe and everything but the bouncers get so emotional when you get drunk they kick you out. Some girls got kicked out for sharing a toilet… don’t be to drunk when you go because they’ll ruin your night 100%

Lovely time out at glam, nice atmosphere and staff and really homely feeling great prices and food

Great club on the edge of the ring road hosting a wide variety of events and most importantly, supporting up and coming drag artists. Affordable food too, including vegan options.

Payed £20 for a power bank which I was told would be returned to me and it hasn’t, ripped off
