How my food arrived, wasn’t the driver, there was 3 inches of brown oil leaking out of a container and lid not on dhal properly. Restaurant was happy to let food like that leave their kitchen.driver was covered in oil so was my drive.

Definitely I would recommend to try the thali options. I think they have four if I'm not wrong. And yes they were enough portion for one person. Overall not bad 👍

What a wonderful restaurant that we luckily stumbled across on our travels! The best food we have ever eaten in an Indian restaurant with a different take to your traditional Indian menu. We had a thali as part of our order, which was small bowls of different dishes. A wonderful taste experience and very reasonably priced! We will definitely call again if we are ever near Coventry!

Even in a jammed dinner hour the food was served quickly. The lamb shashik was wonderful, very juicy and tender. The samosa was very hot! (Temp) everything came to just under £30. Great staff always checking in on me. 5/5

Amazing curry. Lovley more modern setting. We visited on a Sunday and it was very busy. We got seated as we booked (advised) but it was nearly 30mins before we got our orders in and over an hour before it arrived. None the less it was delicious. Bonus here too is you bring your own drink which they place sin a massive ice bucket for us.

This is a very good place if you want to have authentic Punjabi / North Indian Food - the ambience is good but the space is congested which is understandable based on the rush this place has - but the most important aspect is the cuisine selection and the waiting period is minimal. It is too good to miss the same if you are in the COVENTRY or midlands area. Let me know your views if you find the review noteworthy

I have been here a few times. I would say it my place to go to for a curry in Coventry. Great service. Great food. If you have never tied a cheese chilli naan they do the best Value for money, we couldn't finish it all because they give you so much. Very tasty. We had a young lady who was absolutely gorgeous which makes the place even more friendly. I would recommend this place.

Good food, the thali comes with a choice of either bread or rice - make sure you ask for the right one. Their tandoor roti is very nice. Paneer tikka started was a bit ordinary, but I enjoyed the thali for dinner. It gets just, make sure you get a reservation. Lemonade is just sprite - so I’d definitely skip it the next time

As an Indian I can say that its not the best Indian I've had in Coventry but it is quite decent. Sufficient portions. The ambience inside feels great. But I feel the food could be improved more, the gravies in the thali has the same onion tomato base and doesn't take any different. But overall it's decent.

Best service and food we have ever tasted. We did not have reservation, but staff very accommodating as were there with kids- Service also was very quick. Hrithik went extra mile in ensuring the food was not very spicy for kid. Definitely going back on my next trip. Usually places like these restaurants have more options on meat, but as a vegetarianI found there were very good options to choose from and not very pricey at all. In all we were super satisfied.

Decent Indian restaurant in Coventry… must try dish is karahi chicken (on the bone) and Vegetarian thali (tadka daal was yum in this thaali)!!… although would love if the curry of different vegetarian dishes could be little bit different, as all the vegetarian curry items in thaali had the same taste!!

first time its was nice no issues. next order had a screw plug in it. i call them to explain all they said we have no constructions i am glad i was actually watching what i eat. may be they should watch what they cook lollll...either the uber driver put it in or the chef disgusting. i got full refund from uber. but never i go back or recommend them. another note why are your curries over £10 small portions ??you not even a 1 star michelin resturant £8 should be max.

Fantastic, one of the best curry places I’ve been to. Atmosphere is nice with good interior decoration. Staff are friendly and informative, gave good suggestions and were good at checking in on us. Food was varied with a range of flavour and spice, can get very hot for those that can handle it.

NO REGRETS! I was greeted by the warm front of house team upon arrival and swiftly guided to my table. The waiter serving me was kind and courteous, ensuring that my needs were fulfilled in timely fashion. The decor, layout and ambience were pleasing to the eye and led to a pleasant dining experience. Onto the more important bits (for me anyway)....the food was simply AMAZING. I opted for the mixed grill, the chicken tikka karahi as well as cheese naan and fries. The fragrances were mesmerising and the presentation, great. I was pleased with the flavours and the food was undoubtedly cooked with love and expertise. The serving sizes were generous and filling too. The star of the show was the lamb chops. I found myself wanting to lick the bones. Such was the flavour profile and quality of meat. And if I was in the privacy of my home, I would have done just that hahah. My Dhabba Coventry is definitely a solid addition to my list of regulars for a good night out. A big thank you to Noor and Masood for their kindness, generosity and hospitality. Truly appreciated, Khurram

Apart from the fact you can’t buy alcohol in there, this place was great. Tasty food (and lots of it) great service and a nice unique atmosphere. Probably our favourite Indian in Coventry

I visited in the early evening as a lone diner and had an excellent time. The food, atmosphere, and service were all fantastic. I had a king prawn puri, chicken tikka biryani, and garlic and cheese naan - all of which were delicious. I would gladly recommend My Dhabba to anyone.

This would be a zero if I had a chance. 2 and half hour wait then when food came there was loads missing off a £132 order. Had to stick stuff in the oven for the kids. Wouldn't answer the phone when trying to call to complain. What food we did have had no taste and was disgusting. Would not be using this place ever again even if its free. Edited..... Got in touch in the end and manager wasn't interested and was told to get in touch with uber eats where now I'm having trouble with them.

Great ambience. Cozy place to have food. Dishes had a range of selection for spiciness we chose medium and after tasting regretted not selecting Madras. We were also served complimentary poppadoms with mouth watering chutneys and onions. Overall a good experience getting Bollywood's golden era vibes.

Best lamb chops on the mixed grill ever, tender and succulent.

We were a very very large group. They missed a couple of things, but rectified it pretty quickly. I thought the food was really nice. I'm vegan and there were many choices. So that was great. But I had to ask what was vegan as the menu isn't labelled. It should be, as many people are vegetarian or vegan (5 in our group) nowadays. My only issue was the vegan portion sizes. All the vegans were still hungry. I thought it strange that the meat eaters got big helpings and some couldn't finish their food. But I actually went and got food straight after, because I was hungry. We weren't given a puddings menu, so I'm assuming they don't do them. The staff were friendly and helpful here. It was clean and tidy, except for a fair bit of water on the bathroom floor.

The best Indian restaurant I've eaten in outside of India. Amazingly good food. It's BYOB, and that also keeps the price down.

I liked this restaurant and have been before. I would recommend it. The staff are friendly and the service was good. Portions are a little small in size for the price but times are tough for everyone. It's in town so depending on the time you visit will depend on where you can park.

Came for the first time last night, service was a little slow but you could see how busy the staff & the place was in general, we made the mistake of not booking before hand. But the food was worth the wait, really nice and we both enjoyed it. A young girl was waiting on us, we didn’t catch her name but she was wearing glasses, she was pleasant and very welcoming. We will definitely be returning.

Really nice food, definitely explains why it was so busy on a Wednesday. BYOB too which helps to keep the final bill down as well. The Thali combo main was amazing

Restaurant will provide wine and beer glasses. Ideally, you need to pre-book as there are a limited number of tables. Would recommend to anyone who loves this type of dining.

My Dhabba is the best resturant in Coventry for taste and efficient prices. Service is quick and staff is friendly. I like their starter dishes and free papadoums with dip trays. Chicken tikka masala and chicken korma tastes amazing.

Food was amazing, we happened to stop by after not booking anywhere. Staff were helpful and non intrusive. The food was incredible, so much flavour. I like that the waiter asked for our spice level for mains, and it was great. Really like the decor and atmosphere too.
