Best place for hangouts and dine in .. Busy… Better book a table before a day.. Taste is good 😊

A small compact dining room, nice bar and kitchen setup. If you’re going on a weekend then definitely book your table or you’ll be sharing a table with other guests. The food came out super fast, all in all was a decent experience. We had the mixed grill - the lamb chops were the best on that plate. Chicken tikka, wings and sheesh kebabs lacked flavor. The masala chips were decent. My daughter’s kids meal was also just ok - the chicken nuggets were a very standard nugget and the chips were saturated in oil. However we do know it’s what we should expect from a pub. Definitely try this place out if you’re local. Not worth a long trip! Enjoy.

Grill indian amazing food. The place is very easygoing, you have to order at the counter for food and at the bar for drinks, but they will setve you at the table. The food is simply fantastic. Great choice of beers and drinks at the bar too. Very good value for money. Chilli prawns are THE dish to have.

It's one of the Hidden Gem, Khushi is recommended if you want to have Indian taste in the UK. Food is so delicious. Staff well presented and very friendly. I am vegetarian but there are still so many things to try and every dish was delicious. Paneer tikka and Paneer chilli were super tasty. I recommend trying soya keema in the main curry dish. Free parking is available just by registering at the counter. The only thing is a bit strange to me that you need to order and pay in advance, so if you want to order something again you need to go to counter any order again.

Khushi grill is an absolute delight for people looking for Indian cuisine. It has a variety of dishes in its menu including Vegetarian and Non vegetarian dishes. Chicken tikka is a must try for chicken lovers and Paneer chilli in starters for vegetarians. Cannot forget to mention the dessert that I absolutely loved and is rare to find here in UK - Warm chocolate brownie with ice cream. Must must must try!

What a great meal had with friends. We opted for a selection of dishes to share between the group, which enabled us to try a good selection of dishes. The mixed grill was really great value for money and was so good we ordered a second one. I even ordered one to takeaway at the end of the evening. We'd never tried fish tikka before, but that was really well cooked with the fish still retaining its moisture. The star of the show for me was the goat curry. It had a real depth of flavour to it, and yes, we did order a second bowl to share. Definitely will go back again in the future.

Hidden Gem, Khushi is truly an amazing place to go. I had Ocean Grill, bursting with flavours, so delicious my taste buds were bursting with the delights with every mouthful. Cooked to perfection just melted in my mouth. Staff well presented, attentive in every way making sure everything was to my satisfaction. 100% recommend going you will not be disappointed. Khushi Grill was recommended by a member of our team from our office. It was a little far out around a 20 minute drive. It was great the restaurant has its own car park and we went in around 4.30 PM. To our surprise it was more of a Bar than a restaurant and did not look very promising on arrival as it had no one in the food area. In any case. We looked at he menu and the service was very poor. There was no direction by the staff what to do and then we realised that you have to order near the food area and pay before you sit down. We would not have known this without going directly to the food area and then the bar counter member attended to us. Considering the place was not that busy this could have been better. No menus on the table to understand what the place had to offer and had to find them near the counter area. The menu was not clear and only when we looked the front we realised the place does a Mixed Grill. In the end having found our way round the menu, ordering place, and checking in the cars we ordered a large mixed grill a kheema curry, 2 naans and 2 soft drinks. Total cost came to £35 which sounded very expensive for Coventry. We waited for our order and then were pleasantly surprised the mixed grill was enough for 4 people and was sizzling and the meat was cooked to perfection. Overall, the mixed grill was very good with the sauces to go with it complimented this very nicely. We had around 40% of the mixed grill between 2 of us but very impressive. We then went for the kheema curry with peas and 2 naans. Including a butter naan and kheema naan. The curry was one of the best ive had it was very tasty, medium spice we went for which was just right. The naan was flooded in butter (very much liked this). The curry was my favourite as good as the mixed grill was the curry was very tasty. On completion of our meal we then asked to pack some of the left overs and were given 2 bags which were no way suitable for the mixed grill or the curry or the naans. This was very poor by the member of the team that actually did not look like he cared or understood a curry in a bag would not go! In any case, service we found very poor and a 1 would be a good rating. However, the food was fantastic and quality was at a level of 5. Would look to go back but place needs to sort its service out, customer experience is very poor and no direction was poor to see. However, for the food which is the most important thing it was one of the best ive had. Fantastic food but poor service and no real customer experience.

Had a wonderful time dinning there on a Tuesday evening. The quantity is huge and reasonably priced . Food is authentic Indian and cooked well . Service is quick and easy.

Have ordered a couple of times and the starters have been amazing. True Indian style with a clean open kitchen. Ample parking, however the place is buzzing at most times, which is great because the kitchen is busy and keeps churning fresh food at all times.

I would rate must visit for South Asian people, trust me you need to have 3 people to finish their Large Mixed grill , very authentic food , Doesn't burn your money . Haven't been there ordered from online , will surely pay a vist many more times , highly recommended if you are Indian looking to eat something desi and spicy . ❤️❤️

Khushi grill is a lovely place for Indians looking for proper Indian gravy taste in the UK. The starter definitely has an English taste to it. The gravy on the other hand is still excitingly tasty and can meet your Indian taste buds. The drawback with the place noticed by me is the person cleaning the place and taking dishes is also the person taking orders and serving. So it is a hard pill to swallow with the hygiene considering it's just one person doing everything. I could be wrong and it could be just one day that happens to be their hard day that I turned up. But all in all the experience was fine. The gravy's are still a must try.

Food was amazing. That was a proper india. Taste and Naan bread was very thin which I ever seen in UK. Absolutely amazing. Strongly recommend to visit this place who wish to have proper Indian taste.

Khushi means 'happy' in Nepalese. I was happy to find this place 😊. The food was delicious and portions good - mixed veg starter, butter fish curry, pilau rice, bhindi ? (okra), garlic & coriander nan. We ate at 4pm on a Saturday. Fortunately we had booked a table. I'm pleased we ate a 4pm. There are no soft furnishings so the restaurant is noisy. Why 4 rating? We've never eaten there. No-one told us we had to go to the bar and kitchen to order and pay.

Absolutely awful service! Ordered takeaway through Just Eat. Waited over an hour and realised our tracker hadn’t updated so rang the restaurant to be told there were no Just Eat drivers and their printer wasn’t working so we only have the option to collect. We refused an said we’d cancel the order. Couldn’t cancel the order so tried to ring back the restaurant to advise we were coming to collect and shock, the phones were turned off. We went anyway and after battling the Tetris of a car park were given our food to be told it had been waiting on a cold side for 20 minutes. We asked for food to be remade as could feel it was cold and were refused, essentially told to take it or leave it. As we were leaving, guess who walked in? A Just Eat driver! Absolutely awful and will be shouting high and low for people to avoid this place like the plague.

I recently visited Khushi Grill with some friends, and while we had a great time and enjoyed the food, I must say that the service was quite disappointing. We were informed at around 9:45 pm that the kitchen would be closing soon, which was understandable. However, at around 10 pm, a staff member came and snatched our plates away without any prior warning or pleasantries. This behavior was unacceptable and left a bad taste in our mouths. Overall, while the food was tasty and the ambiance was enjoyable, the poor service at Khushi Grill was a significant letdown. I found it quite off-putting and was unable to enjoy the rest of the evening after this incident. It's not the right way to behave towards customers, and I don't think I will be visiting this place in the future. .

Visited this place. It is very well organized. Food quality and taste is wonderful. Good place for group parties. It has ample parking space and outdoor seating as well. Recommend for authentic North Indian cuisine. Both vegetarian and non vegetarian options available.

Amazing food. I am a vegetarian and they have a wide range of veggie options, I love their mushroom fried rice, chilli panner and veg biryani 👌🏻 Recently tried their veggie grill too and it was delicious!!!

Went there with a friend and the food is really good, service was okay. We asked the waiter to recommend us the best dish for two but ended up ordering several dishes (not blaming the waiter he did his job) way more than we can devour (we had to take away the leftovers, and that is super strategy service the restaurant gives to reduce the concerning food waste our western society is grappling with while the rest of the world is struggling to feed their populations)

I'm lost for words! What an insult to Indian cuisine! Based on the google reviews I went for a meal with my family today, the atmosphere was horrendous, so loud that you have to shout on the top of your voice to order your food/drinks. Service is non-existent, and the ambience is terrible. I don't even know what to say about the food, the rice tasted stale, the Dal makhni was horrible, the chicken pieces in the curry were tough. The only decent thing about the meal was the naan. We spent a decent amount of money and left hungry as the food wasn't edible. You can't even ask them to remove the items off the bill as you have to pay up front. In my opinion, they don't even deserve one star. Please save your money and time, I wouldn't recommend this place to any one.

We had Paneer Tikka & Veg Biriyani. Paneer quality was so good and it tasted good along with the sides. But spice or flavours were less. Biriyani was not like biryani it was like mixed veg rice. Taste wasn't bad but again no flavours and less spicy.. The restaurant was crowded so better to book in advance. If you prefer very less spicy food then you may like it!

Great place in Coventry that was busy with over 30 people on a Sunday evening. Two mains with rice and fresh conked nan bread. Clean tables and chairs, with Big TV's on walls. Good to see people meeting friends for a chat in place. Car park with a system to monitor cars. Would return.

Not a pleasant experience. The drinks are very limited and lacks most of the basic non alcoholic options. We had Lime on tap and it was the worst drink. We need to order at the counter and pay on the spot which was very annoying. Food was not tasty. We had mixed grill veg and non veg, biryani, jeera rice, dal makhani, butter chicken, mushroom manchurian, momo out of which only mushroom turned out to be exceptional and rest were basic. Momo is a big nono and dal is a no.

Not the cleanest or most family friendly grill house I've been to.... Food was okay but the service wasnt what I expected. Rude staff who walk off after acknowledging they are being called.... Not what I expected... Won't visit again. Good luck.

Went there last week the food was lovely. The mixed grill was incredible, the butter chicken was as good as it gets. Then I went to the bar for drinks, it was like a Carlsburg advert of bars. Top place, friendly atmosphere.

Nipped in here for a pint and takeaway before a game at the Arena, and I’m so pleased we did. Cold beer, big screens and the best chicken tikka wrap I’ve ever had. Delicious!

We travelled to coventry for 3 days and went twice to eat in. It was the best indian food we have had in a long time. Flavourful, freshly made and enticing. Staff was very helpful as well.

Made an order on just eat. It still wasn't delivered after 2 hours. I phoned up and spoke to the manager who said "it's not my fault the driver hasn't come yet". Didn't offer any resolution except that "it will be delivered when it's delivered" and couldnt give any indication of time. Absolute lack of care and a very can't be arsed attitude from the staff and management. Couldn't care less if you get your food or not, they simply said "well just cancel the order on just eat if you want". Horrendous service.

Collected takeaway. This place was highly recommended, but sorry to say that the food did not live up to it. Rice was hard. Stated no coriander - allergy- on garlic bread but it had it on and so thin you could see through it. Requested mild chicken curry but it was hot and the chicken was dry. Would not recommend Khushi Grill .
