Good value for money. Comfy bed. Friendly staff on reception, bar and at breakfast. Easy and spacious parking. Good breakfast selection. Convenient to walk into city centre to cinema, good choice of bars and pubs.

A pleasant hotel. Facilities are basic, but slightly better than a budget hotel. Beds were comfy, but the rooms aren't very soundproof, so it is easy to be disturbed by noisy neighbours. There is an expensive car park attached - you'd think that the cost of parking should be included in the cost of the room. Check in was very slow, the staff member who checked us in was a trainee clearly doing their best, but a bit more support might have been helpful given it was already late at night and people were keen to get to sleep!

When I arrived at the hotel I found out that my room wasn’t ready yet so the young lady at reception was kind enough to give me a upgrade to a high floor suite. It was really nice of her. The rooms are extremely clean and the bed are really comfortable. I had a really good night sleep. Really good location with convenient parking. I would recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

I attended training at the Ramanda last week. On the outside, this hotel doesn’t look that inviting, but on the inside it is actually really nice. The restaurant is well decorated, and the kitchen staff/chefs went to a lot of trouble to accommodate my vegan dietary requirement, which I really appreciated. Everyone was very friendly and provided an efficient customer service. Training rooms and the breakout areas were also very clean. Coming from Leamington this location was pretty easy to get to, and parking was very easy too. I didn’t see any rooms but I’d recommend it as a venue or if you need a night in this area.

I have just spent my first night, and to be honest, I wished I had gone to a 3-star hotel, where I would pay far less, but get better service and similar rooms. For £95 per night, including breakfast for two, I was shocked to see that the hotel wasn't really a 4 start, more 3 star with poor customer service. I don't want to complain here because it could just me having this one-off bad experience so far and other parts of the hotel is better. So, I will just share my experience as objectively as possible. 1. Two of the young ladies at reception didn't appear warm and friendly and asked them why do I need to pay an additional £6 per day for parking and if it wasn't possible to wave the fee since I was meant to stay just one night but decided to stay for two nights, due to the fact the hotel couldn't check me in before 3 pm the next day for a meeting. 2. You do have to pay parking 2. There is a massive road work happening around the hotel. 3. The room (the one we got) doesn't have a small fridge or workstation - yes, you can use the table the TV is on for your work area, but then you will have nowhere to put the tray with the kettle and the things to make tea. 4. There is a tray with kettle and things to make tea and coffee. 2. No bottle of water - you will be told that the tap water is drinkable and that you can also buy bottle water from the hotel or outside. 5. Iron, ironing board, and hair dryer is present 6. There are no slippers. 7. The corridors and room appear below a 4 star standard as the car and wall need an upgrade - this is acceptable for a 2 and 3 star, but not for a so-called 4 star hotel. 8. Rooms aren't soundproof. As soon as we have breakfast and see more of the hotel later, I will provide some more feedback on the hotel. I hope to find something that will justify the money they charged me. Update (18/03/2023) We had our breakfast this morning, and I must say we were impressed with the restaurant staff. Every member of staff was polite, warm, and friendly - they should be the face of the hotel at reception. The buffet breakfast was tasty and clearly of good quality, which was good to have considering my unfortunate experience the first night. Finally, if the price was better, and more effort is made at reception to be welcoming and flexible, and I would stay here again, but for now, I will find better and cheaper accommodation.

Booked a basic room (double) for one night during Crufts dog show so lots of owners and dogs staying. I like dogs so not a problem for me. Our group had dinner and we were served quickly and the food was good. The drinks at the bar were ridiculously expensive. 2 glasses of wine £21!! Car park is next door (£6.50 a night) It was cold and the heater in my room not very efficient so I was provided with a good portable heater. The staff were all professional, friendly and helpful. On a negative .. the cups in my room were stained with tea and had cracks in them! Not good for a room costing £119 (inc breakfast) Adequate hotel but pricey and situated right in the middle of extensive road works currently so not easy to find your way back to the ring road.

Cold rooms, terrible mattresses, and building work around the hotel. Very complicated TV setup, work for OS only. Toilets in public areas are very dirty. From positive- good view from 16th floor. Nice staff.

Fantastic service from first phone call asking for details, during stay and day of leaving. Excellent customer service where the customer is treated as an individual and not a room number! Fabulous room (spotlessly clean), delicious food, excellent service at meal times and also bar service. Reception staff were exceptional (as were all staff). Lovely relaxing area on the ground floor. Great night’s sleep. Great location near the city centre. Highly recommended.

I attended a training course here last week. From the outside the hotel doesn’t look so inviting, but on the inside it is actually very nice. The restaurant/bar looks stylish and recently decorated and the training room and breakout areas were kept very clean. Service was always friendly and efficient and the chefs/staff went to a lot of trouble to accommodate my vegan dietary requirement - which I really appreciated. I really enjoyed my food too 😃 I came from Leamington and it was a good location coming from this direction (other than the roadworks/traffic). Parking was very easy. I didn’t see the rooms but I would recommend the facilities for a corporate booking.

The room was clean and perfectly good for a night's stay. Staff were polite and helped with a specific request. Booking was a not good via phone, incorrectly took my details despite me spelling everything out! I did think it was rather expensive and was surprised it is a 4 star, room a bit dated and similar to budget chain hotels. Very convenient for rail station, I felt happy walking to station during the day - about a 10 min walk.

They say never judge a book by its cover. This rings true at the Ramada in Coventry. Inside is clean, modern and managed well. Staff are very helpful and friendly, nothing is too much to ask. We went there for a staff conference. The facilities had everything we required, the food was excellent.

A short walk from Coventry train station, pretty decent stay here. A warm welcome at reception, and a really great sized room. Extra heater in the bedroom which was very welcome to take the chill off a bit before bed.

We stayed in a premium double suite. Lovely hotel, great rooms, quiet, didn’t hear any noise from rooms or corridor in the room, really clean, comfy bed, great service and really good breakfast selection. Cooked food was well prepared and fresh. Only one issue we couldn’t watch the tv in the room as it was in a place where we couldn’t both see the screen from either the sofa or the bed. They tried to make it so you can watch in either space but meant you couldn’t watch it anywhere.

Attended training over two days, staying overnight with breakfast. The staff on arrival were warm and welcoming. The location is ten mins walk or 1 min taxi from the Central train station. It’s an equal distance to the city centre and main area for restaurants and bars. The staff were more like personal assistants and nothing was a problem. The food, drinks, the decor, the rooms, toilets, everything was well presented, clean and made for a really nice stay. The staff were talkative and appeared to actually care. The breakfast was amazing and was well cooked with a wide range of choices. The bar was expensive but the one drink I bought (Neck Oil ale) was very nice. As it was arranged through work, I’d highly recommend we re-use this venue due to the experience, location and staff. Well done…

Great value, parking is best at the Earldon multi story (just by the premier Inn) 2 minutes away & half the price at weekends, £3 per day. Easy check-in, nice location . Easy access to the ice arena, Town/City Centre And rugby ground . Lots of choices for food and drink around here. Enjoy 👍🏼

A wonderful hotel with very nice staff. I checked in late at night and had all my needs met. They front desk receptionist Mr Johnnie and team ensured we were comfortable . Security is top notch as the parking garage is around the corner and the security personnel operates the gate . There are convenience stores/restaurants across from the hotel . It’s walking distance or a 4 min drive to the bus /train station. They’re also kid/family friendly and serve breakfast if you pay for it.Overall a great experience . I highly recommend .

We stayed here for four nights. The room as well as the bathroom was really very spacious and clean. Unfortunately, a toilet brush was missing in the bathroom. The bed was much too soft or it was already too worn out. Already after the first night in the bed I got bad back pain and could only hold out for the rest of the time with painkillers. The breakfast was basically okay - but there could have been a little more choice. Unfortunately the breakfast area was much too small for a hotel of this size. Something could really be improved here. But now to the coffee: I don't know which herb was used to brew the so-called "coffee" - it certainly wasn't coffee beans. It tasted like filtered ashtray and was absolutely inedible. The rest of the days I drank hot chocolate for breakfast - which was good again. All in all I would give the hotel a three star rating. In my opinion, the four-star classification given here is not justified. Finally, a few words about the area: Coventry clearly has a homeless and drug crime problem. On the way to the city center we felt very uncomfortable as there were homeless people lying under the bridges and in the underpasses everywhere. I would therefore strongly recommend staying at the hotel at night.

Good location as it is within walking distance from the city centre. If you drive, it is perfect as there is a public car park next to the hotel (with an exit that leads you straight to the hotel). Spacious rooms, but the layout could be better and the room itself is a bit dated. Beds are unfortunately horribly soft and I sank into them. Having said that it was still a good option for a short business trip.

Great location, hotel staff were very friendly and forthcoming. Overall service was great. Food is a tiny bit expensive but you would expect that at Ramada. Continental breakfast was lush. Everything made to perfection. The rooms have windows with no openings which makes them a little stuffy. But are generally comfortable with excellent air-conditioning system.

The Ramada Coventry has the friendliest staff I've met in a UK hotel. Special mention to Patricia in the restaurant. What a star. But everyone tried their best at all times; it made my stay very enjoyable indeed. Great food too.

I really liked the room which was spacious and had lots of storage space if you were staying for a few days. The location is good too - close to the railway station and the city centre. Would have given 5 stars but the cooked breakfast wasn't as hot as it could have been. I would definitely stay again.

Lovely friendly and professional staff, hotel very clean and comfortable rooms. The restaurant service was excellent, a few items unavailable on the menu however the quality of the food was very good as was the breakfast. Would definitely recommend staying there.

The room was nice and the hotel being about a 10 minute walk away from the train station and 20 minutes away from the city centre makes it ideally located. Visually from the outside, it resembles a tower block but don't let it put you off. The staff were friendly even if there was some initial confusion about my booking. I wasn't there for very long and didn't try the food there but would update the review if I ever went again and tried it.

    1. I visited when the heat wave hit the UK and the air conditioning of my room was very weak. I was sweating on every hot days. 2. I booked my stay online but I arrived a day later. The black woman in the front desk said she cancelled my original booking and rebooked my stay so there is no problem. I triple checked that she cancelled my original stay. She said she did and gave me an impression like “Don’t ask me again”. And of course I was charged for no-show penalty thanks to that lazy woman who doesn’t want to check the even once for the 3 days I asked. + no responding email too 👍 3. I hanged “Do not disturb” at the door and a worker came in while I wasn’t fully dressed. Such a nice hotel. 4. I paid for 8 breakfasts in advance and the worker asked me every single morning that I didn’t pay for breakfasts. I told her to double check every single morning. So nice.

Dirty rooms, when I pushed the beds closer to the walls, the carpets underneath was disgusting..very Dirty. Looked liked the beds are not shifted to Clean the floor. Our rooms did not also receive any room service for the whole day even when. We were out of the room. The air-condition was not working and we complained 3 tines before it was fixed. The sheets were clean and beds made up but overall dust was every where in the room. I wouldn't ever go back there. Service was poor . The location was good but overall poor experience

Goods: Rooms are big, with a seating and working area, bed is comfy with good selection of pillows. The car park is good and there is always space. Location is of easy access with restaurants on the doorstep. Bad: the windows doesn't open, not even a few inches to get some fresh air. They have to improve cleaning as there is a lot of mould growth in the shower, basin and around windows. Hotel feels old but with a good makeover it will be fantastic.

Stayed over night in a twin room. Staff were extremely helpful and attentive although we did have an hour wait to book in, probably due to the gig that we were attending. As a lovely gesture, we were given a voucher for a round of drinks and spent a pleasant hour or so at their bar and restaurant which also played gig appropriate music at some points. Rooms were compact but well maintained, with above average tv, coffee and all the usual amenities. On site parking, and an array of small shops and restaurants just outside are very welcome. Had a pleasant stay and would happily return. One extra point, I originally booked the room about 2 years ago but due to the gig being rescheduled twice the date had to move. The hotel got in touch each time, and organized the rescheduled date with no complications at all. Very pleased and impressed.

I booked for Sunday lunch here for Aug 1st 2021 with my partner and when we arrived we were stopped by the security guards who didn't have a clue why we were allowed to make a booking. Got told the kitchen has always been shut through covid and only quarantine guests were allowed there. Manager did come out to apologise and the men were lovely but when you've made a reservation and it's been on the system for 3 weeks youd think someone would notice!

How this a 4 star hotel baffles me. My room had what looked like bread crumbs all over the desk when I arrived. My room key seems to be always deactivating itself which mean I am forced to traipse all the way back down to reception to ask for a new one. And to make matters worse I have just found someone else’s rubbish in my room. I’m assuming the cleaners left it there accidentally which is difficult as my room is very tidy so it would be very obvious. Needless to say wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you’re desperate.

Wondering hotel, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, the room excellent and the views wonderful. Parking was easy in the next door parking garage. Great experience of staying here, wish we’d been able to stay longer!
