Now
here's
something
interesting.
When
you
go
into
Lakeview
Park
Nature
Reserve
you
may
notice
things
that
usually
do
not
crop
up
in
nature
reserves.
OK,
you
will
see
many
different
types
of
birds.
In
the
quiet
of
morning,
or
when
dusk
is
falling,
you
may
hear
the
call
of
a
fox;
you
may
even
see
a
fox
or
a
badger.
But
as
you
wander
around
the
lanes
you
will
notice
parts
of
old
fences
.
.
.
maybe
an
old
wooden
gate.
At
certain
times
of
year,
if
you
look
into
the
wild
parts
at
the
side
of
the
lane
where
you
are
walking,
you
may
see
apple
trees,
plum
trees
and
pear
trees
bearing
fruit,
and
you
wonder
why
fruit
trees
are
in
a
nature
reserve.
Here's
the
reason.
Many
years
ago
this
nature
reserve
used
to
be
an
allotment
site
and
you
walk
through
places
where
folks
spent
their
time
growing
their
own
veg,
and
where
they
spent
leisure
hours
with
their
families.
And
now?
Now
the
allotments
have
returned
to
the
wild
and
they
are
the
nature
reserve
in
Lakeview
Park.
