It's a modern compact shopping centre with multiple floors and a food hall. If you wish to use the escalators you need to walk around the corner to find the next escalator as they are not grouped together. It's OK - nothing special.

Love this place ever since it opened in the 90s. Glad those odd outside escalators are removed and replaced with better indoor ones. More importantly there are plenty of clothes shops here and different choice food places to eat at. Lovely new fountain display looks great. I have to say the new non slip pavement is a great touch, as my poor old mum had a nasty fall on the old slabbed floor, a couple of years back. Thankfully she was ok, just face badly bruised. Thanks to the people of Coventry, that helped her back on her feet and called an ambulance. 👍❤️

I was very disappointed, when in body care today. A gentleman was taking a photo of a product on a shelf to send to someone to make sure it was the correct product before purchasing. Security were called and this man was humiliated and told off for taking the photo. Apparently you can't take photos inside west orchards. I didn't realise that these were the rules either so this poor man can't be blamed for this. I think he was treated very unfairly. The manger in there was incredibly rude to him about the whole situation. I won't be returning me and my husband couldn't believe what we were seeing.

Compared to other shopping centres, this one is well designed and nicely utilised. It has great connectivity to differant parts of city centre meaning it can be a visually pleasing short cut, or pleasent lunch/ shop out.

Security are very rude, was threatened by them and grabbed when I wasn't causing a disturbance. Was called all sorts of names by one of them. Was sitting in McDonald's when 2 of them approached me very rudely. Do not recommend going unless your over the age of 50

Most of the shops here are closed down now so it's quite boring really and the toilets stink terrible! Also the ground floor is colder than the outside. Take your winter coat with all the trimming if you want to to survive shopping here!

Small mall with a few retail shops and a food court. Not too bad as there are coffee shops and essential stores for basic necessities. Nothing much to do, but since their location is centralised, a short walk from the mall will bring you to many other shops across the streets.

Primarily utilised as a parking space for nearby shopping trips. Although not the most economical option, it serves its purpose effectively.

A great shopping experience with a plethora of options for dress fashion and foods. There are also options for kids entertainment. We went during the Christmas time so it was in full swing. Would love to go there again.

Every time we come and park here, the same thing happens. Horrible time to exit. If you call them, they blame the traffic outside. I don't believe them. They should do something about this. You do not have to wait in line 2 hours.

Clean and tidy area, lots of good stores and food places. Will take this opportunity to send a big well done though to the staff at S&V food court. The food was amazing and fantastic value, the staff couldn't do enough to help and were polite but also willing to take time to chat and have a laugh with customers. Will definitely be returning there for more of the same 👍👍👍👍

Nice selection of shops, services and cafes. Mark's and Spencer is popular place for good food selections and great coustomer service. Only regret is that Debenhams has closed.

  • 4/5 Carol D. 10 months ago on Google
This area is better now that the old Debenhams store is being occupied. There are some decent shops here and the space is quite airy. There is a lift ,stairs and escalater to the upper floors, and a café on the ground floor.

West Orchids located at Heart of Coventry City Centre. I will have my frequent visits to this location as I am staying near to this location. It has all the shopping like M&S, Vision Express, Costa Coffee, Debenhams and many more for all your shopping needs. Important thing is the food court which had KFC, McDonald's and many other.

  • 2/5 Vijay P. 1 year ago on Google
Not sure what has happened to this place but it's pretty run down now. Quite small to a lot of other shopping centres / Malls in other Cities. Maybe the rental cost has pushed out the nicer shops. The surrounding areas are nicer like the upper and lower precincts, maybe it just needs a revamp. The food court is a great idea but very busy at lunchtime and sometimes nowhere to sit.

My all-time favourite 😍 ❤️ Love shopping here. Been go here 35 years. Upgraded a lot new shops clean town centre. So much to choose from. Well impressed with Coventry Town centre. Good restaurants Caffès to eat.

An amazing number of shops & places to eat all packed into one indoor shopping area occupying many floors in the heart of Coventry. A great place but can get absolutely rammed at peak times like Christmas.

  • 4/5 Graeme M. 1 year ago on Google
Typical shopping center but no dept stores just M&S. Selection of jewellers and so on. Eating floor has lots of choice, KFC, Chinese, macdonalds etc. Car parking easy and entrances colour coded which is nice. Situated near Lower Precinct where you find specsavers, boots etc. Easy access from ring road. Coventry ring road is special in its own right.

Not enough shops it is full of food places. Great for when you are Hungary but don't bother going if you want to shop.

  • 4/5 Scott D. 1 year ago on Google
Good choice of recognisable High Street brands....but the loss of Debenhams is a blow for the centre.. Good food court with a wide range of places to eat and have a rest. Clean and tidy and well maintained toilet facilities. Close to the Pool Meadow Bus Station.

I visited on a Friday afternoon, it was busy but still felt like I can get some space not like other places. Plenty of parking places with easy access and affordable price. All shops you need in one go plus a good eating area and variety.

Called in at Charlie Browns in West Orchards looking for a suit, not really knowing what would be best. Luckily these guys were very welcoming and took the time to help me select a great suit for a black tie event. They gave me excellent advice and even made alterations to get the fit comfortable but looking good. Thanks to Harj and his colleagues, I actually enjoyed shopping for a suit for once! Check out their impressive suits of all styles and their great range of casual clothes next door. Brilliant shop thanks

Lovely place to shop enjoyable day well spent

Food court in the shopping center is not maintained. KFC is the cheapest version of the franchise. The food does not taste like authentic KFC. The shops are good and you have plenty of options to shop from. Mid street vendors for phone/tablet cases. Perfume shop, lots of shops for formals, suits, shoes etc. They even have a hair Salon, eye brow and nail salons and coffee shops. Cleanliness is one thing that is on the edge. Keep it clean and the experience is enjoyable.

Generally speaking I feel the council is trying to make the city centre a more welcoming place for all. Its unfortunate that some people reuion it for others. West orchards is mostly quite busy, plenty of different food areas, and small coffee shops, hair salon, not so many good quality clothes shops at present, however with all the changes I'm sure there is more to come.

I visited the West Orchards Shopping Centre for the first time today as a stall holder at their Christmas Craft Event, I wasn't disappointed, the building is beautiful, the staff are amazing, there's a wonderful friendly atmosphere, they work together like a family which is great to see. The shops are great, I bought from a few of them. I'll definitely be coming back, every member of staff, every customer I met today were friendly. Many thanks to Lewis and the team

Poor poor poor. I have a disabled son in a wheelchair and another child who has additional needs and have visited west orchards twice in the last two weeks only to find ( both times) that only one lift was working. I had to wait ten minutes whilst this one lift kept going up and down past us and when it finally stopped on our floor it was too full to get in!!! I was informed that the other lift had been out of order for over a month?? Many children can’t use escalators! Come on west orchards you have to do better than this. NOT ACCEPTABLE!

Sept 2021 Massive mall and space. Surprisingly huge. I think I might have sprained my ankle from so much walking. Lots of parking and reasonable fee. I think it has lots of shops closed due to Covid but it has great potential. A wide variety of shops. From expensive highstreet brands to multiple charity shops. Even walking distance from a big market. Lota of South East Asian restaurants and groceries which really made me happy. Will definitely visit again.

Being a fresco and muralist the blank boards over shop windows Could do with some stunning artwork to make it into a place that's more cultural. But the shopping centre is well worth exploring

Lots of shops, went here to get my hair cut. Good guidelines for one way system. I prefer the old food court though, as they had independent food stalls but they took it all away.

  • 3/5 Karen B. 2 years ago on Google
Shopping is not my thing, the shops themselves are good but quite a few empty units which make it look a little run down.

  • 4/5 Mary S. 2 years ago on Google
Very few people wearing masks little hand sanitiser available. No sign of security Easy parking. Seemed a wide variety of shops one floor ismostly food outlets. The area shocked me by its run down conditions

  • 3/5 Martin G. 2 years ago on Google
Nice shopping centre however really strange rules in the food court no room in McDonald's so sat in the subway part only to hassled by subway staff to purchase a sandwich or move

  • 3/5 C. G. 2 years ago on Google
a bit poor store, maybe because of the pandemic many stores went bankrupt, otherwise it's ok.

  • 3/5 Ali F. 2 years ago on Google
All Chinese Food is pretty average, on ocacions a bit salty. Regarding Indian food, it is no way near the Indian food. Plenty of parking available. You have to order drinks separately and pay separately i mean you don't pay everything in one go when you finish, rather you pay for the drinks on the table.

  • 1/5 Sam W. 2 years ago on Google
Not the greatest experience in fact quite poor. Food area dirty, cold and poor selection. Security are something else, seems its all gone to their heads appearing on TV. Very arrogant and awkward. Wouldn't recommend

Nice place to go. Don't do shopping there as I find it a bit expensive but all in all it has everything you need. And it also smells nice in there :)

Good location to shop. You have various businesses around here. From groceries Tesco, the location is a ons stop shop to get almost everything you need at home 🏡

Good shopping centre, WH Smith's, coffee shops, jewellery etc. Basically £1 per hour to park here and it exits straight into the town centre where there is lots to do.

  • 3/5 Aisha A. 2 years ago on Google
Lovely place to visit with kiddies..lots of food options and its superb if you just want a cuppa too, lots of play areas for the kids, great facilities for new moms..only reservation is that the soft play area could do with being a bit bigger, was very busy last time I visited and there were lots of older kids so my 2 year old felt hesitant in joining in..but apart from that it was a lovely day out

Modern shopping area with plenty of modern shops . Lots of room and good eating venues. Good predestinan open areas with fountains and a pleasant atmosphere. Marks and Spencers. Costa . Witherspoons and all the usual well known brands are here. Much of the shopping area is under cover. Worth a visit

  • 4/5 Fernando T. 1 year ago on Google
Several food options. Shops were easy to find. The only criticism at the time of visiting was the male toilet not working. As an interesting fact, there is a former Debenhams shop that, although has been officially " permanently discontinued", seems to operate with the "Debenhams" logo and some furniture despite not being Debenhams. There's a wide variety of items for women in that new shop though

  • 4/5 Chris W. 1 year ago on Google
City centre much improved and quite busy, went to EE and staff very helpful, car park ticket machine provided a few problems as it wouldn't accept cash or card payment. Why don't the management check these things??

  • 1/5 Andrew S. 1 year ago on Google
Imagine taking the concept of a food court and ignoring what makes it good by only having proprietary seating areas. Get stuffed families with different diets or tastes who want to sit together. And don’t even bother if you’re hungry after 5:30pm.

  • 3/5 abid m. 1 year ago on Google
Not a bad place, decent shops, better shops outside if honest, nice food area though, be warned there is a lot of road works going on can take up to 45mins to leave the car park, can become chaotic.

  • 2/5 Sandria S. 1 year ago on Google
We visited Coventry for thd first time in about 7 years. Stayed 40 minutes; it's like most towns shops closed down etc because of the after effects of Covid and the cost of living crisis.

  • 5/5 Arun P. 2 years ago on Google
Decent mall. Parking available although closes by evening. So be aware of the time and take out your car otherwise you might have to end up keeping your car overnight.

  • 3/5 Richard E. 1 year ago on Google
Lots of choices in a variety of shops, however I found it quite expensive in there. Clean and tidy inside, plenty of security around so people should feel relatively safe. Plenty of parking available too.
