James and I would just like to sincerely thank you and your team for everything you have done for us on our wedding, from start to beginning. I am quite a relaxed person anyway however I felt like I did not have any stress nor worries when arriving at the venue the day before my wedding. Georgie you have been absolute an absolute star helping put this day together, I think you would agree that it was very successful. I felt throughout day I could just leave you to your own devices as your decision making was perfect. I had complete trust in you... Katie I'd like to also thank you for the morning's work of the day of the wedding I feel like your organisation and communication was faultless, you really helped to pull together those small details. You are a great asset to the old Hall hotel team. I felt that the old Hall team really come together as one. Each member throughout the day stuck out, all pulling together to help my guest, my family, myself and james having one of the best 12hrs of our lives. The amount of compliments, positive moments and comments, the joy in photos and the aftermath of messages just proves this. It would be hard to say If there would be anything I would change. I would like just to extend my thank yous again to you and your team. For helping me pull together one of most momentous days of my existence, for a lifetime of memories and an experience i will forever be able to tell. Thank you

We recently held my son’s 2nd birthday here and had such an incredible time. Georgie and Taz were instrumental in the prep, going above and beyond with what we were looking for! Deepak was great with our guests ensuring they were well watered! The hotel is beautiful, the Christmas decorations were amazing and all of our guests (including the adults!) loved Santa’s grotto.

Im going to start this review with a HUGE Thank you. We Definitely recommend the Old Hall for santa wonderland and grotto experience you will NOT be disappointed. Its very christmassy and Santa was just brilliant. The room used is beautifully decorated and Santa's cabin is so cosy. The whole experience is perfect for the kids and adults too and extremely reasonably priced. I'm fussy and only do traditional Christmas things and I could not fault this place at all about anything. The grotto Staff are all dressed christmassy as elfs and very welcoming. All hotel staff are polite, helpful and welcoming on arrival. Our 1yr old little boy unfortunately took ill the day we were supposed to visit and ended up in Hospital. We phoned the old hall and explained we weren't able to attend and the reason why. They were very compassionate and saved all his crafts, gift from Santa etc for us to collect when we could. After 3 traumatic December's running where we've spent the last 3 December's in hopsital, 😭 the Old Hall treated us above and beyond like Family, they even gave us a courtesy call the following day to see how our little boy was, which was very touching and they offered us a home visit with Santa after knowing what we had been through the last 3 christmases running. This brought tears to our eyes we completely wasn't expecting it and thought we had missed every opportunity to see Santa with him for this year. We were so touched by the kindness of the Management team to not only call and ask how he was doing but to very kindly offer us a home visit. Our little 1 wasnt well at all and was asleep when Santa should of come to the house so we had to cancel this very kind offer, but the Manager very kindly said I could take him up a few days later to have his photo taken with Santa which we did, as a family we cannot thank the Manager and all the staff at the Old Hall enough. So so so welcoming and compassionate and very thoughtful towards us. This to us as a family on his first Christmas after the last 3 years has meant so much. We now have photos to treasure and look back on, We will definately return next year for definate. We aim to come and dine throughout the year aswell and recommend this place very highly to all. We held our wedding here and were absolutely thrilled with The Old Hall. The staff were fantastic at communicating throughout the planning process especially around dietary requirements and making sure we had some quieter areas for our guests to relax. The venue itself is beautiful and was easy for guests to find, and the buffet lunch was delicious. Amazing, would definitely recommend.

We stayed overnight as we were attending a party. The experience was excellent from start to finish, lovely friendly check in, shown to our room. Lovely clean room, nice bathroom, nice view out over the front of the hotel. Slept very well, very quiet. Lovely lady in the breakfast cafe, couldn't have been more helpful. Another lovely lady on check out, even offered to carry out bag out to the car, although we declined. To be honest the staff could not have been nicer from the reception, bar and restaurant. We would love to come back.

Excellent service, lovely setting. We had a delicious afternoon tea and chose the Dopehar selection, a delicious alternative to sandwiches - samosas, spring rolls and ingredients (with instructions!) to make a chaat, followed by great selection of cakes and scones.

The best afternoon tea we've ever experienced! The service was amazing with incredible food and tea choices. The Old Hall was a beautiful location for our event, the staff are friendly and helpful and the food is great. Highly recommend it.

I booked the hotel for a one night business stopever. The price was very keen. From the second I arrived, the service levels were brilliant. The welcome was warm, my arrival was expected. The checking in was quick and seamless. The room quality was first class. It is a nice quiet place, out of the way, and so quiet and peaceful. I had to get to an event and taxis were not readily available. So a member of the team took me to the venue! Breakfast and coffee was completely bespoke and made to order in the very comfortable and inviting cafe area. There is really nothing but glowing things to say about this hotel!!

The hall itself is very beautiful and luxury as soon as you enter in the entrance its all luxury and you feel like home and welcomed. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They made sure we had everything on the table. Best service ever. The atmosphere is very lovely and welcoming. It's the number 1. I would recommend this to anyone definitely you won't get this kind of service anywhere. Definitely would recommend this for afternoon tea, Birthdays and parties any other events at this hall. The coffee was the best ever and so were the desserts. I will be definitely coming back again and will also recommend my family and friends.

Rooms were so clean and comfortable and whole hotel nicely styled. Food was great and loved the cocktails! Friendly and very helpful staff provided a great service and experience. Definitely want to plan a party here next!

Enjoyed a Santa's grotto, kids got to do activities and got presents from Santa. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Shame we had already booked lunch elsewhere, as the bar/restaurant looked awesome and was gutted we hadn't checked earlier so we could have had a bite to eat. Will be coming back soon!

Held a joint birthday party here and can highly recommend. Beautiful hotel, great location and parking. Staff are great and made the whole event very successful. The rooms were luxurious and a great punjabi breakfast. Outstanding.

This hotel surpassed my expectations. The service was absolutely lovely, very welcoming staff. Room was wonderful, very comfortable. Great location to get to the NEC and parking available. Really enjoyed staying here and will be back one day!

We visited for an Abba tribute, it was a good venue. Nicely decorated, attentive staff and a good atmosphere.

Went for afternoon tea with my kids and family for a mother's Day treat. The food was awesome and we were very well looked after by Millie. Food and service was excellent and I'll definitely be visiting again. Thank you 🙂

We were booked in for Sunday lunch on Mothers Day. What a fabulous few hours, Food was excellent, staff were welcoming , attentive and nothing was to much trouble. My partner and I had the loveliest of evenings at The Old Hall Hotel. Live music in luscious surroundings with staff who go above and beyond to make you feel truly welcome. It really is a gem of a place. Thank you to the team there for making it special.

A little late writing this review but I had, because of the amazing support and work The Old Hall did for us! We decided to have our daughters 2nd birthday party at The Old Hall and did not regret it one bit!!!! We hired the marquee in January 2021 and had concerns of it being cold, however the staff reassured us that it would be warm as they had arranged large heaters in the marquee. In fact at one point we had to ask for the heating to be turned down. The lead up and organisation of the party was outstanding. I must give a special mention to Taz who was always available and on hand to support with anything and ran our party so smoothly that we didn't have to ask for anything. For once we could actually enjoy the day ourselves. I must say the food and service was OUTSTANDING!!!! We could not flaw it one bit. Our guests complimented the food also, so hats off to the chef and staff. Overall I would recommend The Old Hall. You will receive 5 star service and will NOT be disappointed. I'm a very critical person so things stick out to me if done badly. I was at a wedding here yesterday and only just noticed that, as far as I'm aware, nothing went wrong. To me that's how you know a team is doing a great job. All of the staff were helpful, professional, and incredibly hard-working. I had a great time and would like to thank all of the staff for making my friends' wedding an amazing day. I'd highly recommend having events here.

We had our wedding at The Old Hall in October 2023. I (the bride) stayed at the hotel the evening before, and my bridesmaids and I had hair and make up in the conference room the morning of the wedding. We also stayed the night of the wedding along with our closest family. The venue was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have asked for more. The photos don’t do justice for how nice the decor and grounds are. We went for afternoon tea for our wedding meal along with an evening buffet. We had a trial with the best man and a bridesmaid before we booked, it was so good we also took my family for Father’s Day too. We even had guests write in our wedding book that the food was the best they had ever had. Taz was our wedding planner and she was brilliant throughout. I thought the day before the wedding would be manic trying to get everything sorted and Taz sent a video through and she had done everything for us before we even arrived.

If only there was the option to go higher than 5 stars. We hosted our wedding at the hotel after having a bad experience elsewhere and it was the best decision we ever made and I wish we knew about the hotel from the start. From the very beginning staff could not have done enough for us. I have never felt so welcomed by friendly helpful staff. The wedding organiser taz took all the stress away from planning a wedding, she kept us up to date step by step, came up with brilliant ideas and took control of organising all other people involved in the wedding. As a bride I felt confident she would sort any problem or hiccup and for that the wedding went without any problems (non that I knew of anyway) The staff worked late into the hours to make our room spectacular and it really was. It wasn’t just another wedding to them they made it personal and so special. Our guests have commented ever since how amazing the food was, how friendly staff were and how beautiful the hotel was. It was the most relaxing experience and we will definitely be back we cannot recommend them enough for future parties and events . Roz and Adam

Having used the coffee shop and bar on previous occasions my partner and I decided to book to stay after a friends party and we certainly weren’t disappointed. Georgie and her staff were both friendly and courteous and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend a stay and having attended many functions there I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them whether it’s for a wedding or simply a lovely night out.

I went to a diwali event here, absolutely brilliant night, great music, food was 10/10! such a luxurious hotel, very spacious rooms and very modern. Staff were exceptional, I have an egg allergy and they catered for me so well, I actually felt like I was a VIP rather than an inconvenience. Thank you Old Hall. Would highly recommend!

My parents hosted their wedding party here and it’s safe to say we made the right choice! The VIP bar was perfect for our friends and family to enjoy. The bar is well stocked, everything is well organised, staff are helpful, friendly and accommodating. Food prepared was tasty, service excellent, great music system and lighting. Toilets clean. Plenty of parking. With the building being recently refurbished inside and out it was fitting for such a special occasion. Thankyou to all the team who helped both on the day and with the planning.

We came for a booked meal, it was really good. The service was brilliant. They couldn’t do enough to make sure we were happy with our meal .. as it was a voucher they made sure we had it all used as gave us cake to take away. We will be going back again for more lovely food and great service. The surrounding were lovely too. Well cared for. The inside is superb modern and clean. Thankyou

I booked afternoon tea for my niece's 11th birthday and to say I was impressed is an understatement! The hotel has been refurbished amazingly and all the rooms are beautifully decorated. We were located in the VIP lounge at a wonderful and definitely instagrammable spot in the bay window. The food was delicious and the serving sizes were very generous, we even had to take some of it home. The best part about the whole thing though was the service. All the staff were very attentive and friendly from booking right through to us eating. I had mentioned it was my niece's birthday at booking and the staff went above and beyond to make her feel special, including giving her a mocktail some flowers and even singing happy birthday to her while presenting her with some cheesecake. It was a truly wonderful experience and we were lucky enough to get to speak to you owner who gave us a tour. I would highly recommend this venue, they have really thought of everything you could possibly need/want. We will certainly be returning again

We organised a joint 50th birthday celebration at this lovely venue. From start to finish we were given an excellent experience. The food was lovely (and generous) and the host, Georgie, was amazing; nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in their plush rooms too. Highly recommend this place for parties!

This was hands down THE best afternoon tea experience I have had! I booked for me and my friend and we were seated in the beautiful VIP area - the decor is so stunning, perfect for taking our instagram photos! The staff are super friendly and the sandwiches, cakes, scones, teas and cocktails were delicious! They even let us pack up what we couldn't eat and take away with us. A lovely atmosphere and the perfect venue for small get togethers or big events! I highly recommend!

We visited yesterday and celebrated a baby shower. We opted for Afternoon Tea and the food not only looked good but it was delicious. The team were excellent and catered for my dietary requirements. I am local and have heard many positive things about friends' experiences here when dining or just visiting for a coffee or few drinks. I'd been for a coffee during the daytime a few months ago, but have been hoping to call in on an evening to sample the wine. So I decided to stop by last night by myself, just to take some time out and relax. I was greeted at the entrance by a gentleman standing under an umbrella who was wearing a hi-viscoat and he directed me to the carpark and advised me of where the entrance to the building is. Impressive customer service and I haven't even entered the building yet. On entering the foyer you're immediately hit by the sheer elegance of the place through the view of the glass doors. Each room is spacious and immaculate with incredibly stylish interiors. There's plenty of seating including the odd cosy sofa and private booths. I was welcomed at the bar by a lady who I believe is the manager, called Georgie. Georgie took my drinks order and very thoughtfully suggested I go sit on the big sofa whilst she prepared my drink and bring it over to me. I felt so very well looked after almost instantly and the complimentary Pringles were very much appreciated too. Nice touch! I had such a relaxing time during my visit and the background music was great....It was a Motown playlist. Georgie came round to ask if everything was ok with me, including if I was warm enough. Again another thumbs up from me in the customer care department. Upon leaving I got chatting to Georgie at the bar and our conversation about wine led to Georgie offering me a free sample of a malbec wine. Honestly, this lady is the queen of customer service, she is an invaluable employee to this business and that is an understatement. I know it's a family run business, but it's still worth giving this lady the credit she truly deserves. I was super impressed. She could teach anyone in the hospitality trade a thing or two! Master of the trade to say the least! Absolutely loved this place and I will be returning again. I especially look forward to trying out the food. Without a doubt one of the most classy establishments in Coventry with exceptional customer service. Sterling work guys! I'm proud to have this establishment on my doorstep.

Visited The Old Hall for afternoon tea with some family friends. The service was exceptional, food was delicious and hotel itself is beautiful, ideal for some nice pictures! I was pleasantly surprised with the variety of options available, which also catered for my vegetarian diet. All in all an amazing experience and would highly recommend, will definitely be visiting again soon :)
