We liked everything, from the cozy environment of place to the service and finishing with the great food! We had deer and boar and it was a hell of a good choice , super tender and flavored followed up by a suggestion of wine by the waiter that was a perfect pair for our food! Delicious pumpkin pudin to finish a lovely dinner! Highly recommend and if ever back in the area for sure will visit again!

Great restaurant with fantastic set-up and decoration, nice owners and service. We tried the tournedos and bife and it was generous and delicious.

Impossible not to visit, while in or near Unhais da Serra. Great food, and differentiated ambiance. A must.

I tried deer with red fruits... Very good! The staff is 5*. Very nice and attentive to customers needs. During the dinner we also had the pleasure of seeing a theatrical performance recounting the legend of Viriato, the 1st Portuguese hero, who gave the restaurant it's name. For price range please see the menu. We were a big group and I do not recall the precise price/ person.

A place with a story. Located in a town hall from 1905, which is perfect for providing medieval base for the rest of the scenery. They also tell the story of local Lusitanians and Romans 2000 years ago. Attentive service and good foods.
