Rushed, disorganized service + bland, mediocre food. Couvert removed mid-bite, due to poor kitchen management! We travel a lot, and I don't usually waste time rating mediocre places, but this experience is worth warning others about. There were only two other tables seated when we arrived, so were surprised at the sense of urgency for us to hurry up and order. We ordered the sangria, then, upon ordering the couvert, the waitress asked why we chose it - did we not know what the other appetizers were? Weird statement to make. We also ordered the Tábua de Carnes (de Porco Ibérico). Sangria: good. Covert: salpicão e queijo - ok, pão e manteiga were wonderful, if only we had time to finish, as with more than half left and mid-bite, a red-haired woman (not our waitress) came to announce (not ask) that she was removing the items to serve our dinner. Then another waiter appeared to tell us the same thing and tell us that “everything is great”. Our original waitress looked annoyed from afar, then we never saw her again. I don’t remember a more abrupt, rude experience, not at all like the typical, laid-back, enjoyable Portuguese dining experience. Tábua de Carnes: it says the portion is for two, but it looks like it’s for one, with only 2 varieties. We’ve had this prato many times throughout the country and this was the smallest, least varied version we’ve had. It tasted ok. The sides, beans & rice and spinach, were surprisingly bland. I usually love these things. Sobremesa: A fourth waitress took this order. The “New York style cheesecake” LOOKED like it should, but tasted nothing like the name. Neither of us could taste any cream cheese. A very bland, fluffy whipped cream with a weird texture (oil?). I don’t know. Definitely made by someone who had no idea what NY-style (or any) cheesecake tastes like. Café Pingado- great. The bad food timing and constant feeling that we were being rushed did not help the fact that the food was mediocre and overpriced for what was presented. Extremely disappointing experience, not to be repeated.

The food here is really good. (we came around dinner time) The portions are nice & come with a lot of side dishes. You must try the Sangria! It’s delicious. The staff was very nice & attentive. Although they seemed a bit unorganized at times. The prices for the location, are a bit high…but considering the portion size of the food you receive, one could say it equals out. Definitely would eat here again. Oh yes, be sure to reserve a table if possible. They fill up quick! 😁

We just evaluate the Restaurant which was very good. Price and value relation is very good, we had a good dinner with friendly waitresses and enjoyed the evening. will come back.

Mediocre food, poor service. Passos100Pressa, located in Covilhã, boasts a prime location and a pleasant atmosphere, making it an appealing choice for diners. However, my overall experience at this restaurant left much to be desired. Let's start with the positive aspects. The restaurant's setting and ambiance were undoubtedly commendable. The well-located establishment created a pleasant atmosphere, providing a comfortable environment for dining. Moving on to the food, unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. I opted for the octopus dish, which was tender but disappointingly burnt. Accompanied by vegetables and potatoes, the overall presentation was good but the flavor was disappointing. The flavors failed to impress, and I found the dish to be rather underwhelming. Another disappointing experience was when we ordered the beef. Despite requesting a medium doneness, it arrived rare, and the sauce lacked the expected taste. This inconsistency in cooking preferences and the lackluster sauce diminished the overall enjoyment of the meal. Regrettably, the service did not contribute positively to our dining experience either. On a sweltering day, we sought relief from the heat by requesting an indoor table. However, we were informed that no tables were available for two people, despite an unreserved four-person table being present. This initial refusal to accommodate our request left us with a less favorable impression of the establishment. On the brighter side, Passos100Pressa's menu showcased a variety of dishes that respected the local culinary traditions. The gin I ordered was really well prepared. However, the quality of the food did not surpass expectations and failed to impress me significantly. While Passos100Pressa has a favorable location and a pleasant atmosphere, the overall dining experience fell short of what I had hoped for. The food, though showcasing local traditions, was lackluster in taste and had inconsistencies in preparation. Furthermore, the service did not leave a positive impression.

Heavenly Itálian Restaurant. Flawless tasty food and the atmosphere is very comfy. Great service with very nice waiters. Recommend.

My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant one evening for a romantic dinner and it didn’t disappoint in any way whatsoever. We began with a martini and an Apperol spritz and for starter we had the bruschetta, it was fantastic. For the mains, we had the chefs pizza (Sr Do Carvalho) my boyfriend ordered something different, but mine was the creme de la creme. I tried his, but honestly, I was so in love with my own that I didn’t pay much attention to it. If you go here, I highly strongly suggest you order the same pizza that I did. you will not be disappointed. To finish we each had a dessert, but by the time we had eaten our pizzas, we couldn’t do the desserts the justice they deserved. Service was excellent. Even the chef came to say hello. We had a wonderful experience and any day now I will be returning. The price was also very very reasonable. The only thing I would improve upon is to choose an Italian red wine, instead of the Portuguese one that we decided to have. However that was purely our own mistake and simply down to preference. In conclusion, fabulous all round. Couldn’t ask for more.

We went to the Paço 100 pressa Restaurant, because it looked very appealing from the outside. Once inside it was very nice and cosy for dinner. The staff was friendly, but didn’t say a lot. Maybe it was because we were talking Dutch and the staff’s English wasn’t the best. They start with the ‘couvert’ you don’t ask for. (bread, ham, olive oile, some sauces, and 2 croquette’s) This was € 7,00. For drinks we had a red wine. (Quinta dos Termos) This was a good one. The food was not what we expected. We ordered a beef with 5 pepper sauce and a lamb with spinach and potatoes. The beef was good, but not cooked according my taste, maybe that’s because they never asked how it had to be cooked in the first place. The lamb was a disaster. The meat itself was good, but we did NOT expect there to be lamb brains(?) involved? From the moment we saw this, both our appetite was gone. We had to send half the lamb back. Also, there was no spinach to be found in the dish. Location was great. Service was ok. Food was not ok.

Went to the Italian side after a long day and the adventure starts right from the moment we arrive. There are two sides of the restaurant but there isn't any sign showing where the Italian is or the traditional one. After finding the Italian one, we were welcomed by friendly staff. We got to our table and the atmosphere was nice: some music in the background and very calm environment. We noticed though that the table was a little bit dirty. We ordered our food and it was definitely the worst Italian food I have ever had. We ordered Bruschetta, Garlic bread with cheese and a pizza. Everything was so oily that we weren't even able to finish our pizza. The space is really nice and staff is really friendly but unfortunately the food isn't good which is a shame.

Calm and nice environment. Staff is welcoming. I ordered marinated beef, the portion is more than enough at reasonable price. The meat could be more tender.

I went exclusively to the restaurant, the staff is nice and polite, the ambience its very calming even the music is alright. But the food is way overpriced for what it is, its a pitty that it doenst match the lovely place. Nothing special really, i order a steak and on the menu wasn’t even mentioned that it had cream as sauxe and im lactose intolerant. It was drenched in oil and unevenly cooked, I wouldn’t recommend it, or go again.

Bad food. Claims to be Italian cuisine but it’s horrible! We didn’t eat anything, left our plates full and they noticed yet didn’t do anything and charged us the full 60 euros! Shameless! No pics since I was too shocked by this

I went to the Italian one (the restaurant have two sides) and I loved it. dinner in a hot day, outside, in a place recalling the Italian culture and italian-like music. Great food, (pizza is XL size). Amazing staff!
