I had a pleasant visit, my meal was the 3 piece broasted chicken combo, this is a nice restaurant/ deli. > Chicken was served hot, crispy coating, good flavor and moist meat. The only problem was that I was not advised, when placing the order, that it would take 20 minutes to serve. Had I known, I would have purchased something else, as I was dining with others that had to wait for me to finish my meal. > Potatoes, very large skin-on wedges, tasty and served hot. > Rolls, excellent, served with butter and honey. > Potato salad, very good (another choice was coleslaw). > Pleasantly surprised with very friendly customer service provided by Rachel. Highly recommended.

This is a local gem! Very authentic and great service. Everything is fresh and made in house. Our favorite is the limoncello cake and best of all is that they sell by the slice as well. I just wish it was available year round!

Good food good service. We got the Brooklyn bridge grinder, olives and jello. My only complaint is the bread could be a little softer overall very good food.

A truly hidden gem in Covina. They have a plethora of baked goods here. Their salads and entrees are super delicious here too. I enjoy all the flavors that come with my food and the vintage & ambient setting.

TL,DR: great food but on the pricey side. It's the only real deli in the area. Takeout is open and there is limited outdoor dining. Calling ahead to order is a good idea.

This is our favorite deli and we go every chance we get. The sandwiches are delicious as are the side dishes. They have a good selection of bottled beer, which is always a plus for me. Even if we can't dine there, we will buy a container of tuna salad and squaw bread to make sandwiches at home. My granddaughter loves their cookies so I'll stop by after work and pick up a selection for her.

This place never disappoints! I never walk out of here without grabbing some dessert. I got me a New York style hot dog with jalapenos on it. This dog has a whole lot of flava!! Whatever you crave this place has! The sweet ladies at the counter were very attentive to us with excellent customer service. 😁🙏🏽✊🏽✌🏽

First time here. I Googled "deli" as I was in the mood for a good pastrami sandwich. It found this place and I sure am glad it did. When you walk in you can tell this is the real deal. Long line but it went rather quickly. I opted for a cold pastrami with mustard, pickles, mayo and that's it. Also got some potato salad on the side. Maybe cause it was lunch, but the order took a bit. But it was worth the wait. The pastrami itself was super tasty, very delicious and full of flavor. The bread was fresh. I will definitely be back for more !!

They have the BEST lasagna around! Their broasted chicken & potato wedges are delicious. I've purchased their sliced corn beef; very good & their various salads. It's a great place for dinner or lunch.

We ordered a hot beef sandwich to go for the son-in-law, he liked it. I was impressed by the selection of foods, bakery, deli, wines and much more. The cookies were scrumptious. Definitely going back to have lunch. Ladies who helped us at the counter were so pleasant and helpful. See you soon 😚.

For those of you who don't like to read alot. Sit n eat or order to go. Food is tasty, served quickly, & priced reasonably. Lots of fresh pastries to treat your tongue. And for you connoisseurs (winos - all in fun), lots of vino bottles to please your palette😋 Great service, too.

This was our first time here. Stopped by to have a cup of soup and a sandwich. We ordered the Italian wedding soup and the chili along with half California Grilled Cheese sandwich. The wedding soup was okay not a whole lot to say. The chili was mild but had lots of flavors. It really hit the spot on this rainy day. The California Grilled Cheese was excellent. It preserved the grilled cheese flavor plus added just enough other flavors to enhance it. Fresh sliced avocado, red onion and greens make it a bit more healthy to boot. The counter service was very helpful and cheerful. The soup was given to us immediately while they cooked the sandwich. It took longer than I expected to get the sandwich. So don't start eating your soup or chili right away if you want to have it with your sandwich. Overall a good first visit and will likely come back and try something else.

the best broasted chicken I've ever had. served with fantastic potato wedges and rolls and coleslaw.super crunchy chicken that's always cooked perfect and never too greasy. employees are super nice and friendly always willing to help and answer questions. I always enjoy my visit to Old world deli.

You can never go wrong with broasted chicken!! So scrumptious! We also got mostaccioli and bread! yummy! What I greatly appreciate was the assistance of the employee helping me with the quantity of what I needed for the party. Even though we had a taco guy there I still wanted something else. So she helped me figure how much and it was perfect!!!

Great to buy a small portion of fresh food. I love to get their homemade salads in 1/2 pint; chicken salad, pasta & the artichokes are so flavorful. The employees are so pleasant. Family friendly feeling!

Always delivered hot & delicious. Perfectly seasoned and the portions are great. Love the lunch combo. Pasta salad is soooo yummy! Highly recommend corned beef on rye.

They do have some good things here, but honestly it is pretty overpriced on everything and the portions aren't large to compensate. A lot of their Sweets and Treats look really good but a lot of them are disappointing...and also expensive

Without a doubt a personal and family favorite. We have so much history at this neighborhood Deli that serves the most delicious spaghetti and garlic bread!

Great sandwiches. They have a deli, Italian grocerie options and good variety of food options, I have yet to try more of their options, but the pastrami and the Italia sub are delicious.

Great side dishes of you need to take one tho s social gathering. Macaroni is my fav! Picked up cookies for the grandkids and a frozen lasagna for the week. Love the place!

Just recently went since we no longer live in CA. They been around for years. The food and quality is still excellent!! Plus it's an interesting place with a great variety of wines, deserts, deli items and salads. It's a must go & eat!

If you want good food this is the place. Super fresh and delicious! The costumer service is warm and comforting! I will definitely come back!

I've always wanted to stop in and try the cuisine here! Last night I did and wowsa was I blown away with the variety of items being offered. Staff was very helpful and patient. We decided on Lasagna and submarine sandwich for take-out. Food was served piping hot and very delicious. Will definitely return and invite other food enthusiasts to come check this place out. Still has the mom and pop feeling and style of yesteryear.

So good , I don't know where to start. The family meal is the deal !!!!! So good. Chicken So good. Coleslaw so goood !! The bread rolls are perfection. ( I made a chicken sandwich with tapatio, from home , sooooo good !!!!) Always remember this place when u can figure out what to have for dinner , u will thank me
