    The restaurant was dirty. Lobby, tables, and drink area hadn't been cleaned since lunch. It was now around 2pm. Food tasted bad, rancid chicken nuggets,(the chicken had gone bad, probably from being kept at the wrong temperature, and fries tasted like old dirty vegetable oil. Bathrooms were dirty. This store was NOT busy and should have been cleaned instead of all the employees playing around and cooking their own food to eat. I would strongly NOT recommend this store. Sorry, McDonalds, it truly was one of the worst experiences I have had. If you keep heading through the town, a few more miles, you will get to more restaurants to choose from.

    At the drive thru. I waited for what seemed like an eternity for the car line to move. I was blocked in, so I couldn't leave. When the cars finally started moving, I placed my order for my beloved fish fillet combo with the line moving decently. When I got to the window to pick up my order, I waited & waited. Several employees were standing around talking, some were drinking sodas and looking up at a screen. I waited. Finally, someone opened the window and asked what was my order. I waited some more. I wasn't driving off because I had already paid. They finally give me my Sprite and then shoved the bag out the window. As I drove off, I felt inside the bag and the fries were tepid, at best. The fish sandwich wasn't any better & felt like it had been microwaved too long and was tough. I felt around in the bag for a straw and there was not one. No pun intended, but this was the last straw. My last visit to this location, late Good Friday evening, I heard employees cursing up a storm through the window. I mean really going at it and the quality of the food was just about the same. I'll take my business elsewhere when traveling through Covington TN. Maybe then, I can get food that I can take more than one or two bites of before dumping it in the garbage in disgust.

    Got a McFlurry. Tried one day doesn’t work. Next try got ones but the taste and texture of the IceCream or what ever they use was super grainy and icy. Machine is not fixed.

    Ordered 2 drinks at the drive thru, got charged for 3, only 1 drink was what we ordered, had to go inside to correct it to find that the diet coke was "messed up" so they were pouring it from a 2-liter... the whole reason I went to McDonald's was for a diet coke (I like how it's calibrated) wish they would've just told me that when I ordered it, that is almost 15 minutes of my life I'll never get back!!

    I have posted multiple reviews of other McDonalds. Only one has ever been a complaint. This one had no special reason for me to stop. I was traveling, needed a quick stop, didn't want to have to make big decisions about the menu, be disappointed in my food or surprised by the bill. Mickie Dee's came through again.

    I paid for 2 40pc nugget meal for my 6 kids and when we got home I only for 1 40pc. Tried to call and no one answered! I live 20 minutes away so I didn't return to the store very disappointed

    The system was down they say I placed a mobile order waited 15 min they gave me 2 old cold greasy fish sandwiches with cold cheese not even melted and a watered hi-c orange drink......🙄

    I would like to say something about my last visit to McDonald's in Covington, TN and I'm sorry for having to say this publicly but that visit really disappointed me and this is what I'm going to say... That night's food was absolutely terrible. We got 4 McChicken's and they were the nastiest food I've ever put in my mouth and we could not even eat them, the sandwiches were dry, the buns were hard, I personally keep choking on them because I have no teeth, my husband's was put together wrong and he couldn't even eat hardly any of it and I was extremely unhappy about it almost to the point of not going there anymore. And that's to bad for me and mine because it's convenient, reasonable prices, and close enough to send the son-in-law walking, good kid LoL. Until next time folks

    This is the worst McDonald’s in the nation. Just waited 30 minutes in drive thru for them to lie and say “the system is down and I can’t order”. Do what? Never on my life lol what a joke. People in front of me in drive thru putting in orders and getting them. People inside eating but now that the drive thru is too busy you can’t take my order? Bet. It’s always something with this POS location don’t waste your time. Drive up the road and go to another. Seriously.

    THIS McDonald's has had good management for years. They get it right more than most McDonald's; however, they keep lobby doors locked during peak times...IT MAKES NO SENSE! GET YOUR EMPLOYEES SCHEDULED FOR PEAK TIMES...like, Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner times. Pandemic schedules are a thing of the past! Get it together Covington McDonald's!
