Is an amazing place. You can go with your family or friends. In some part of the park you can find like a table for a picnic or Grill for make a barbecue. The park have a train and different attractions like Zoo and water bike in a lake. You can walk inside the park or pass a relaxing day. The cost is $5 dlls per car.

During the Halloween fest: Parking is a bit of a mess and the tickets are a mini robbery, but overall a good experience and my son enjoyed it. A couple things to note: - tickets come out to $7 per ticket Worth it: train ride, maze (free), pumpkin picking Kinda worth it: cookie decoration, excavator ride (fun, but worth two tickets $14?) Not worth it: ball throw to get a mini prize

The good old fashioned train stop town! Here the little train comes and goes, as does the little visitors with their folks! The whistle stop here is decorated for the fall season, with pumpkins, foliage and the Halloween spirit lurking about! In addition to the regular train rides, visitors can now travel thru the Hay Maze, the haunted house and the pumpkin patch. There’s the chuck wagon full of goodies, general store, ghoulish games to play and things to see. Extra tables, benches, trash bins and restrooms have been included. There’s also the nearby pony park for riding out here as the settlers used to do! With the cooler weather, it’s now more comfortable to spend lots of time here, getting in a full day out at the park while here!

Great experience! A fruitful explanation. The train has recently changed to a brand new train. Worth the ride! But the cost is 6 dollars per person

My family and I have visited the Irvine Park Railroad for their Easter and recently the Pumpkin Patch events, and both have been a very good experience. Nice and organized, everything seems reasonably priced for the experience that you are getting. Excited to visit them for their Christmas event. Staff is very friendly, and helpful. All children win prizes (no matter what) which is a very nice treat at their carnival games. The value is the $90 Ticket Book. It's just worth it. Tickets get you access to train ride, hay ride, carnival games, activity booth(s), and Bounce Houses. Entry into the Irvine Park Railroad itself is free so you can browse around and look and take tons pictures. Pony Rides are available, but they ONLY take cash. There is an ATM by the snack bar. Snack Bar itself is either cash or card and prices are what you would expect. Any other experiences or products there are also available for purchase individually. They also have a boat house where you can rent paddle boats and bicycles separately. Boat House is across the lake, on other side of the Irvine Park Railroad main section. Entry to the park (Irvine Park Railroad is INSIDE of Irvine Regional Park) is either cash or card. Obviously if you go on the weekend avoid peak hours to get entry into the park. So either go early as soon as they open, or go in just after the lunch hours, and the closer to the holiday the more people that will be there. So go early in the season or during the week if you can. 12.02.23: Visited again for their Christmas Event and it is a very amazing site to see. To see Santa you do need a reservation for the train, but other than that all other events are available. The decorations are great.

So fun! I highly recommend going early so the lines are minimal. So much to see at the park. Ponies for those kiddos and a little zoo. Everything is reasonably priced. There is a fee for parking, and they do take credit cards.

The park is huge. There’s a lot to do with the family, bike rental, paddle rental, there’s a small Zoo located in the park that costs $2 per person. In the zoo they also have a petting zoo as well. They have a lunch area with really affordable lunch prices. They also host pumpkin patches and Santa Claus holiday events during the time of year. I recently went to the pumpkin patch and my 1 year old had so much fun. Best park to spend a whole day at! 🤩 Also the pumpkin patch they have a haunted house, little toddler games (everyone wins a prize) rides, and food. Don’t forget to ride the train 🚂

If you are looking for a nice place for your family to have fun, BBQ and try the railroad and train or go on a quick paddle boat around the ducks in a nice lake then you should spend the day in Irvine park, there is also Oc zoo inside the park but we were not lucky to go there, but next time we are planning to visit the Zoo, the park is super clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful, the parking ticket is $5 and there are abundant parking lots and spaces, highly recommend to go there early as the park gets really busy around the attraction areas, you will definitely have fun there.

We go here annually for the Christmas Train (which are the hardest tickets to get). You could also just go and enjoy the lights and games. BUT. Why are the games and activities so expensive? Each ticket is $7. It costs 1 ticket to decorate a cookie and 2 tickets to do some pretend ice fishing. There are other Christmas events in OC that are free. Try those if you're not willing to spend $$$$ here.

$6 for each rider (free for ages 1 and below). Takes you on a slow ride around the western town and the lake. It’s a fun ride and a cute train. The employees are super friendly and engaging with kids. We enjoyed it. We parked by the zoo and then walked over 5 min, went on a train ride before exploring more of the park and heading home.

We went to the park for the annual Easter Egg Hunt. They had carnival games, (prizes given even if they lose), face-painting, and the Easter Bunny meet and greet. The highlight was the hunt of course! My son had a great time and enjoyed all the activities and asked to come again next year.

This is a great place to take younger kids...my 9 and 3 yr old love it bc there's so much to do! The train is super cute and you can see peacocks, there's an adorable little zoo that only costs $2, bike/surrey rentals, ponds and lots of areas to picnic or bbq. They even had a stable to ride horses. It's all very affordable too

The Irvine Regional Park is always a great experience. Great place to have a party, to explore nature (see their zoo!), or to get some exercise in. Will definitely be visiting often.

We love this park! The train ride is really fun and informative. The zoo has so many wonderful animals, and the fauna around the park is amazing. It's a fabulous place to enjoy nature.

Go early! It gets packed and parking is traffic ultimately (Thx Bluey). Lots of photo ops, fun games, and a train! Plus zoo is a short walk so go there too

For Irvine Park Railroad get there early and try to be the first one at 10am for the train. Parking and getting into the park can be a hot mess. If you get there later on the weekend. This the third time doing the trains and our 3 year old son loves and has so when we went when at under 1 and at 2 years old. Great experience, walk around afterwards and have fun around the park.

first time visiting and I would definitely come back every year with my kids. I love their pumpkin patch. it's big enough for kids to explore. I went on a weekday and parking was only $3.

Great for kids! The picturesque setting, with rows of vibrant pumpkins as far as the eye could see. The activities and attractions for families were a highlight.

First time visiting I was impressed. They had so much to do from riding the train, free haunted house and corn maze, carnival games, zoo, decorating and much more. One issue we did have was the jd races. They kicked my 3 yr old son and 5 yr old nephew out of the ride for bumping when ALL the other older kids were doing it. We were not happy with that.

I wish the whole train and mining town was 10x as big. As is its still super cool. The entire surrounding area as well. Picnic benches, tons of open grass to toss a ball around, and very cool old trees to climb. Peacocks and squirrels walking around. Definitely a Sunday BBQ area for the kids and family.
