Stopped at El Mirador for only 20 minutes. The place serves great food and has free tequila testing. (Try the 5yr old 😉) Tasty as the tequila is, a bottle is pricey to buy. It is organic after all. Walk out the back to fantastic beach views. There are also a couple of basic souvenir shops.

It was a rainy and Sunday day, but we’ll worth the stop. The waves were incredible. They also have a place to get a beer or snack.

Cool little beach, lots of dead coral and white sands. A handful of vendors selling souvenirs and shirts. Some unique driftwood and a few flags. There is a bunch of trash but locals pick it up.

We came here for a quick bite. I wanted to spend some time here as it has very nice views but I was getting late and too the food to go . We tried fish tacos ( Maui mahi) and it was delicious. Drinks are good as well . Nice place to sit and enjoy the sea view . Food price could be a little high but it’s tourist place , so it will be . Hence don’t mind that . This place has good photo spots as well .

There is a photographer dude there taking your photos with your own phone (good ones!) and the with his own pocket Canon Powershot, trying to sell the prints with a frame for $20-ish. I didn’t want the print/frame and didn’t have change to give him for the effort and the nearby merchant would not split money for me, so now I feel bad for not giving the dude anything. Please do it for me.

Was only there for a quick stop. Views are gorgeous and staff are friendly. Restrooms are not for the weak of heart and the beach could have been cleaner. Great photo op spot and probably nice beach if you walk down a bit. Great Cozumel sign for family photos as well!

So beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing. Just able to sit, enjoy lunch, and watch the waves.

It is a nice spot on the rough Atlantic coast but nothing too special. Some vendors opened gift shops here. Pricing is quite high. We took a 10 minutes sightseeing stop here before driving on with our rental.

If you're driving on the east side of Cozumel, make sure to stop at El Mirador. What an amazing place. The views are insane and also there's little stands where locals sell drinks and all kind of handmade souvenirs. So stop by take some amazing photos and help yourself while helping the locals and make you friends back home happy with the souvenirs you will bring them from your Cozumel trip. Definitely need to make that stop. 100% recommend.

Wow! What a view! A beautiful sight to see teeming with local shops and authentic cuisine. The people are so kind and quick to help, and were motivated with their shops’ prices if it meant making a sale. If you are in Cozumel, make it a point to stop here and take in the beauty of the island.

This spot was beautiful. Our guide was very helpful and pointed out some of the best places on the island. I would go back.

It is a very ideal spot to take photos and eat. Don't try to swim here and be ever vigilant of your surroundings. The restaurant had delicious food. Drinks weren't that tasty. Their steak nachos were amazing! Careful of those rocks, though, do not try to climb them without sturdy footwear.

This is a very peaceful place. Nice place to go and sit down do some writing. Painting thinking or spending with your significant other. A day that you will not forget easily when you are in the company of your loved one. It is a special place where you can take the pictures of a life time. You have to be careful walking on the rocks. They are very sharp so it is a good idea to wear strong sole shoes rather than soft sandals. It is a good place to visit also to purchase local artesan items.

Weird little beach with a few flags on a rock. Not really a swimming beach or somewhere to relax. Lots of souvenir stalls. Ocean was pretty rough there when we were there. Calmer at other beaches.

Such a beautiful beach. An incredible place to photograph eroded rock formations. The people are wonderful. Many merchants crying out to you to buy their souvenirs. The crashing blue waves are spectacular. I could have stayed there for a full day. A great place for photographers.
