This park was great! We came for the tequila tasting and found a lot more to explore and take in. It's surrounded by lush trees and flowers, and the miniature historical buildings are such a neat way to view Mexican history. We were also treated to a rain dance as well. Great stop! Definitely worth the afternoon.

We went here on the Jose Cuervo tequila tasting excursion and had a great time. I am not a fan of tequila but learned a lot about the drink and its history and crafting in Mexico and some general history and art of Mexico. Our guide and staff were very pleasant and helpful and gave us a great tour. I would highly recomend as an easy and enjoyable adults only tour.

Raphael the tour guide was so informative, told us so many things that we did not know. He had a great personality and did a wonderful job. I was dreading it because I thought it was going to be boring but it was really interesting and so many beautiful pieces of Art and the show at the end with the men on the pole was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

It's a beautiful art museum that showcases Mexico. There are pieces of art from different regions of Mexico. There are gift shops, not one but two. A cafe, a bar and a taco joint that claim to make Mayan style chicken tacos. There are models of the Mayan pyramids as well as Mexican mansions.

This is a small museum/ park but very interesting. We had an excellent tour guide, who explained a lot about the history and culture of Mexico. We really enjoyed the dioramas. Great experience overall.

I enjoyed the tequila tasting. It was informative but honestly took a bit long in what was not an exactly air conditioned room. The tequila tour excursion, unfortunately, didn't actually include an opportunity to spend any time looking at the exhibits (but they give you LOTS of time in the gift shop). Also, traffic was pretty bad from the port and it seemed to take way too long to get there. The meal at the end was just okay, but the margaritas were pretty good. Take plenty of one dollar bills to tip driver, tour guide, meal server, entertainment, etc. Overall, it wasn't a bad excursion, but it has the potential to be better.

This place was one of our shore excursions with Carnival Horizon and what can I say we love every bit of it. The tour director have great details about everything and also explain how a real margarita is suppose to be made. The park also gave out frozen margarita shots, they had picture taking with a beautiful donkey, and we also got to witness the Mexican Fly Dancers. It was awesome. We will be returning in a few months 🤗

I visited this park as part of an excursion from a cruise ship while ported at Cozumel. It was delightful! Our guide, Carlos, was fantastic. Very animated with wonderful stories of Mexican culture. It was a good history lesson and i learned a lot. As a port excursion, it includes a short van ride to the park itself. Then we get a reprieve in the air conditioned museum, looking at exhibits, with a guided tour. Then we sit and watch a nice video in the dark air conditioning that was very pleasant. Then we walk outside and are guided around to view the miniature buildings with explanations and stories about each one. About halfway through, you arrive at a refreshment area, where a girl offered us a sample of kiwi margaritas. You can buy margaritas and authentic Mexican food for lunch. I got a plate of vegetable and bean tacos with rice for only $4. After you eat, the guided tour resumes and you see the rest of the buildings. It also includes an acrobatic show. All in all, this is a big bang for your buck at only $20 at the time of this writing.

We booked as an excursion with Carnival Cruise lines; our guide,Carlos was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Mexico and he shared quite a few little known facts. We were able to see local crafts and watch an authentic "flyers" show.

We lived our chocolate and snorkeling tour with Discover Mexico. Carlos was very knowledgeable and the park was spectacular. We especially loved the chocolate tour. Highly recommended and we will be back.

Discover Mexico is walk-able from the port, but it is a hike that I wouldn't attempt on a hot day. Once there, there is an air conditioned area to wait in, and we were taken on a tour of a small museum before having our picture taken with Sofia the donkey, and making chocolate. We were offered several beverages to sample throughout the day, which was fun. There are miniature models in two separate locations, one we saw before lunch and the second afterwards. The lunch buffet was simply amazing and I am glad I decided to eat the meat so that I could experience authentic Mexican food. We were encouraged to eat as much as we wanted, and we received drink vouchers. We were given a chance to shop at the gift shop before doing the tequila tasting. PROS: A good way to experience a lot in a half a day excursion. Gift shop seemed to have a bit of everything without seeming too "touristy." We were able to pick up a bottle of tequila, some drinking bar chocolates, and I bought a scarf that is absolutely gorgeous. Loved sampling all the different beverages and making the chocolate. Our tour guide was sweet and informative. Our tour guide was very aware of her clientele and was more than willing to make arrangements with taxis to leave the Park. CONS: We felt like every time we turned around we were expected to tip- we would have paid more to know that tips were already taken care of and we could enjoy the experience. Also, we took the pictures because sometimes it is easier to say "yes," but they they came around with them printed and framed- of course my bf said yes and now I have the thing on my shelf. Could we (unsuspecting people) at least get a choice of frames or a prettier Cozumel one?? There was confusion with the taxi ride: we were told our ride leaving was covered. Our tour companions were headed back to port (included in price, it seems) but because we were headed to another location so had to pay for that ride ourselves.
