Incident happened on September 16, 2022 between 8pm and 9pm Terrible staff I dealt with today. I was at the self check out when this guy who is supposed to help gave me attitude. He was rude and addressing customers like it's their fault judgment without trying to determine the cause of issue first. Not to mention there were already customers that were disappointed with him due to his rudeness. Here's the story, I scanned two items with discount. After carefully following the instructions of the machine. Put them on counter and the machine says assistant needed. Called this guy and instead of helping he says "what do you want me to do, you put these items here without scanning" with very rude attitude Told him I scanned and went through and this happened. Could be a simple fix but instead he addressed me like it's my fault without knowing what happened first. This staff shouldn't even there. Rude, not addressing the issue right and no respect to customer. Very disappointed. Managers, please address this matter. Educate this guy. You know who am I referring to. Manager or supervisor was there after the other disrespected customers requested her presence.

The service had just gotten worse and worse. I used to use the curbside pick up often but the wait times are routinely over 40 minutes and the substitutes they make make no sense. I truly believe they often substitute things in your order just to drive up the price. The last straw for me was on my last (attempted) pick up. My time slot for pickup was 4:30-5. I showed up at right at 5 and checked into my parking spot. I saw the employee bring out the groceries to the car next to me so I KNOW they were there when I checked in. I waited 40 mins- no one came. I tried to call- no one picked up. After 50 minutes I went into the store to find out where my groceries are and I was told the pick up department closed at 5. I told them I was there at 5, which was during my time slot, and that they knew I was there because they saw me. Was basically told there is nothing they can do, that department has gone home and no one is cross trained so they can’t just go get my groceries for me. They basically just said come back tomorrow after I had already been left on read and waited an hour for nothing. I got no apology or attempt to make it better, no manager ever followed up or reached out. Shopping here isn’t worth saving a few bucks.

After my purchase today, I noticed that I had a PC offer which stated if I spent $250, that I would receive $25 in points. My total was $247, so I kindly asked the customer representative if I could add an item to receive the points. She rudely said "I'm not doing that, you got too many items to return. No, I'm not doing that." Each of my subsequent questions were met with a curt "you need to go on the app". I can appreciate if adding an item or refunding my order was not possible at the store level (which I doubt, what kind of a store does not allow returns), but could an employee at least pretend to be polite? Say something like, I'm sorry, but unfortunately this isn't possible. It was a distasteful interaction from someone in a customer facing position that reflects poorly on the store.

This review is strictly based on the curbside pickup option available at this location. It sucks. Timeslots are selected, but not met. After a series of phone calls to the pick up service, promising an order (that was already an hour late,) would be ready "soon", I learned it had not even been picked yet. Yes, this is a specialty service -- but if you are going to offer it -- respect the customers that pay for it. Customer service flat out lied on multiple occasions over the phone saying the order would be "the next one out." Do not recommend.

The PC express pick up is HORRIBLE at this location. Do not order here!!!! I have ordered several times and each time it has taken min 30 minutes for them to bring out your groceries. I work close to this location but will not be returning to this location ever again. It’s the significantly and consistency the slowest pick up location I’ve tried.

DO NOT use PC Express pick-up at this location. 2 of 3 times the wait was 30 to 45 minutes to pick-up. It is PC Slow, not PC Express. Customer assistance is non existent at the store or their toll free line. First time, I waited over half an hour and watched them bring out orders to people who arrived after me. They 'forgot' to tell someone to bring mine out. Second time went as advertised. The third and last time, waited 45 minutes for my order. After they filled the order, they failed to trigger the 'your order is ready' message that provides a link to say I was waiting in a specific spot. Could not get a person on the phone, tried many times. Had placed a pick-up order because I was sick and isolating., so couldn't go inside. Called toll free number, went through many prompts to reach a call centre and they put me on hold to call the store themselves... after 20 minutes on hold the call was terminated by the agent. No call back. Had to flag down a PC Express employee in the parking lot. They first told me they were busy and to call the number on the sign. They finally used their store phone to call someone. 60 seconds later, I got the 'your order is ready message', 2 minutes after the end of my pickup time window.. Then waited 15 minutes for it to be brought to the car.

I love this store compared to others' superstores. Regarding FlashFood, RCSS Calgary Southport is always better quality and has more fresh fruits and vegetables than any other locations in the south. Also I received a wonderful service from one of the staff members. Robbie provided exceptional customer service. Thank you Robbie for your willingness to assist me, appreciated your help.

Customer service is awesome here when I don't have to deal with ANY questionable returns by the older long haired woman that works customer service. I don't know why Suoerstore won't deal with her. Staff is otherwise very awesome with their help and service. I also wish they would not be so cheap with hiring security at this location. They need it here!!!

Something wrong with that place. They hold me to check chicken sticker more then 10 min cuz was double they think I did that. Everything was ok but still they try to rip off sticker again. old woman asked me to don’t buy from there and don’t go there if I don’t like wait. Of course I didn’t buy anything from there. I wanted to talk with manager but they wasn’t care about service. I hope general manager will see that and I can always show on camera what happened there. be careful if you go there

Finding huge bell.peppers and carrots and cucumbers and a bitter melon that looked different, it was awesome for someone who simply saw small ones back home.

After 8 years of exclusively going to Superstore we have gone back to shopping at Safeway. My wife knows her prices and she found Safeway has lower regular prices on some products plus it’s a nicer experience and way less stressful. Plus we get a higher discount at the gas station, So far 10c a litre vs 3c in points. Scene + points are better because you can collect them at certain restaurants as well and the cashiers make sure you even get bonus points as well in case you forget the coupon. Plus the cashiers will give you a discount with points at SS you had to beg the cashiers to use points for a discount and they would look around before they gave you one.

Clean, lots of staff during the rush/busy hours, never had an issue getting a parking spot, although you may need to walk a bit as their lot is massive. Staff is generally helpful. Bathrooms can be nasty.

Better selection and availability overall. The quality of produce is superior to Safeway. I save money shopping here versus Safeway. When there is a deal on, I actually get to purchase it, whereas Safeway put deals on every day items you need and there's always nothing left to buy.

Real Canadian Superstore Southport Road offers a delightful shopping experience. The store boasts a vast array of fresh produce, a wide selection of household items, and a friendly, helpful staff. Very busy, yet very well stocked superstore! They have absolutely everything your heart could desire in a grocery store! Their world foods section has a lot of interesting items, and is very well stocked. They have many things you would usually need to drive to the NE and go to T&T Market for! The produce section is alright, not as nice as Safeway or Co-Op, but it will do in a pinch. I've bought many things at their home wares department, since everything is very reasonably priced and good quality. I won't go to their pharmacy though. I tried twice to fill a prescription over the years, and they wouldn't do it because it was too early by a bit! I just took the prescription back, went to the nearest Shoppers and filled it with no questions asked. If they are that restrictive, I'll take my business elsewhere. The rest of the store is great though! Recommended!

Last few visit was disappointing. The lactose free section was empty ,it is been a month I'm not able to find the lactose free whipping cream there.Very sad!

As are most of the superstars, I find this location to be clean, efficient and well stocked. As a person with a disability, I am grateful for the amount of handicap parking by the front of the store, it makes things so much easier as the size of the store is overwhelming and by the time I’m done shopping my legs are usually, exhausted. Some stores do not have enough handicap parking, but superstore excels at this particular offering. I hope that the gluten-free items that were offered in the past come back soon, they are a nice affordable treat, and they are missed.

Good selection but store layout is not intuitive, had to search for my items. Many open cashiers made the experience positive overall.

Decent shopping experience but they are almost always out of meat when we go. Not just a few times but 80% of the time we go there is no ground beef or chicken to be found, not even 1 small pack.

Way better stock than other superstores, the mobile shop there is pretty good too. Great staff. Clean washrooms. Helpful employees.

Overall the store is nice but the bathroom is disgusting! I had to pee so bad and I had my daughter with me. Paid for my groceries and went to the washroom, the floor was pretty wet wasn't sure why but then I noticed when someone flushed that the drain would back up! The bathroom stall door wouldn't even latch into place. This is unsanitary and this washroom should be closed and fixed! I also couldn't even get the sink to work to wash my or my daughter hands! Absolutely disgusting

Great shopping store- groceries, produce, clothing, pharmacy, etc. It's indeed big and spaced out. I find majority of household items I need here. I love the versatility as well...lots of options to choose from. This store also provides international groceries for immigrants. Another thing worthy of note is the quality of produce here. Always fresh. I've never bought produce I'm unhappy with. If you are plantain lover, you can never go wrong with Superstore. They always have fresh and healthy looking plantains. Okra too.
