I had dinner at Yakitori Torishin, a One Michelin star Japanese restaurant that serves traditional charcoal-grilled Yakitori chicken. I never knew chicken could taste so good. Sitting at the chef-selected counter, I experienced a complete omakase service. The chef explained every part of the meal, which included sashimi and duck breast, in addition to select parts of the organic chicken. The service was beyond impeccable and included a choice of sake from the restaurant’s rich collection. Definitely a unique and highly recommended experience that I am eager to have again soon.

First time dining at Torishin and it was an absolute blast. The interior is beautifully garnished in wood and the service was top notch. Chef Jackie was incredible and delicately explained the origins of each skewer even though we could tell it was busy. Will definitely come back when we have the chance

i got a little sick of chicken halfway through, given all the meat skewers are various chicken parts. they were all cooked well but tasted similar in flavor. the best was the soba dish and the rice dishes. they did ask at the beginning if we were okay with organ meat and i said yes but then no organ meats appeared, which confused me. the portions are pretty generous, about 2-3 pieces of meat per skewer with 14-15 courses, so come with an empty stomach.

Lovely thanksgiving dinner time, We enjoyed Torishin very much, so much fun and every serving was excellent. Our waitress uniko was very lovely in her manner and service. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience. See you again soon.

Chef, Tatsu-san created an amazing experience for us! Loved food and all staffs are super friendly:) They accommodate my dietary restrictions (I’m pregnant) very well!! Highly recommend for special occasion!

Enjoyed this place a lot. Had the a la carte - didn't think the omakase was worth it for us as we dont fancy organs and other such "delicacies". The items we ordered came on time, well cooked, and tasted great. We were also impressed by the service, though the explanations for the menu etc was a bit too long winded. Prices are not cheap, but the quality was good. The space in the restaurant is unique with different levels. Enjoyable experience and would recommend this to anyone.

This yakitori restaurant brings you back to being in the heart of Tokyo! Exceptional food and service. Recommend the omakase special with the A5 wagyu and pork from Spain. Also a carafe of Zaku the Artisan sake

Came here to celebrate my birthday! The servers indeed made it extra special by singing :) Just know that this place serves yakitori exclusively. So if you are looking for other types of Japanese food, this would not be the spot for you. Sitting at the counter is the best seat in the house. We opted for the Omakase special ($108 for 14 courses where you can choose either the Wagyu or the Iberico) - it was a great call. The skewers were all very tender, and the ones that surprised me the most were the chicken heart and the crispy skin. We also ordered the meatball (chicken & duck) to try as extra. The service here was top-notch, and everyone made you feel so welcome. The atmosphere felt zen despite how busy the grill station was.
