Came here during the day on Saturday and was able to find an open table to sit right away. They had life music come in the late afternoon. Overall liked the vibe of this place, it’s perfect for a chill day drinking activity with a big group or just with your bestie

Fabulous beer hall. We arrived on a Saturday mid afternoon and were delighted by the excellent brass band. Very good selection of beers on tap and by the bottle. Great vibe.

I did not realize that there were excellent Biergartens in NYC. Radegast is definitely up there in terms of service, atmosphere, and food. We were able to get a giant eight Cedar table outside of the restaurant, and there was a QR code on the tables that let you individually open tabs in order food. Note that if you want any of the grill options, you have to physically walk inside to the grill and order separately from there. The grill has a lot of good options ranging from different types of sausages to sides like French fries. They are freshly made delicious. You can buy an aïoli to go beautifully with the grilled items, or you can grab any one of the free condiments on the side of the grill. I would also highly recommend getting their french fries. These might be some of the best french fries you will find in New York City! We also got their pretzel with beer cheese, mustard, and a pickle. My only critique would be that the beer cheese is lacking. It needs something more because in its current form, it is pretty flavorless and too watery. The pitchers of beers for $20 is an excellent price! The pitchers are easily at least 60 ounces! It filled up over 3 glasses. Their wheat beer is excellent and pairs really well with the foods they serve.

I had a good time here. On their brunch menu, I had a pretzel and lager beer. I enjoyed the pretzel, which came out hot with some sauces. The beer (lager and dark), of course was on point. I tried their kielbasa ( a type of sausage) on their grill menu ( you had to get up, order and pay separately, which I thought was inconvenient). But I enjoyed the smokiness and how juicy it was. It came with crispy fries and horseradish. The horseradish didn’t have the kick I was expecting, quick mild. We later came back to try the bone marrow, first time, and it was sublime. To be honest, I was unsure of the texture, but to my surprise it was smooth and creamy with a lot of juices. Great to spread on toast and top off with their relish. We sat outside and enjoyed our meals. The service was polite, friendly, efficient (because it can be very busy at dinner time) and they wore masks. The price was worth the experience and quality. Would come back!

There's always a great vibe at Radegast! Our last visit was a Sunday afternoon and there was some great live music, plenty of seats, and amazing service. Most of the beers are great, but I'd recommend the Spaten Lager for a classic European Lager taste. If you're in need of a snack, the loaded fries with bacon and paprika are a great shout! The place can get quite busy during the weekend evenings, but it all adds to the fun atmosphere.

I’m in love with this place! I don’t live near by but I’ll definitely come back often especially now during the summer. The beers are amazing and the food (veal schnitzel meal is my favorite) is delicious! The environment is very cool and love the playlist playing there. The service is also 5 stars for me.

Went here with friends for brunch! Was able to easily modify a salad and the avocado toast to be vegan - it would be great if Radegast could put this on the menu as an option, would set it apart from other beer halls. The atmosphere was nice, it was pretty quiet when we arrived but started to get busier around 2pm. The beers were really good!

Nice little beer hall for pub food and drinks. Great for large groups as huge bench like seating and large assortment of beers. Defs a good place for beer lovers. Recommend

Oktoberfest was super fun! Very crowded but the vibe was great. Nice selection of beer and we didn't get any food but it looked good.

This is such a nice spot. Seating inside and out, with super friendly service. We only had a beer and a pretzel but would love to come back and really sample the menu.

What a fun place! I guess we got there early, on Saturday at 1pm. There were plenty of seating available and we were able to enjoy our beer to cool down the heat. Excellent music. We didn’t eat, but the menu looks very appealing. We came back several hour later and it was impossible to enter. The place was totally packed and a live band was playing.

Gut nachgeahmte deutsche Atmosphäre. Man bekommt hier auch eine Maß. Allerdings sind die Preise nicht normal. Für 330ml Edelstoff zahlt man 11$. In Deutschland zahlt man für 500ml max. 4€. Daher also echt schon sehr teuer hier. Die Musik hatte jetzt weniger mit Zelt Musik zutun gehabt, war aber dennoch richtig gut. Die Leute waren lässig drauf und man kommt leicht ins Gespräch. Deutsche werden hier gefeiert 😀

Great beer selection and their Munich Pretzel was so good - soft doughy texture with just the right amount of salt. A pretzel I recently had at DSK paled in comparison. I love the authentic feel of the big beer hall, definitely a great biergarten in Brooklyn.

Saturday afternoon live brass band is such a fun time! A few tips: 1. It gets hot in there - dress accordingly. Little to no AC and weak fans. In summer/fall you (and everyone else) will sweat. 2. Likely that for the live performance all of the tables will be reserved by large groups in advance. If you’re 2-4 people, likely to be able to just squeeze or dance your way into a table or group. Every reservation of 25 people is bound to have flakes. 3. Grill in the back is awesome - delicious meats and fries and quick orders.

Was the first group here last weekend a little before opening at 11am Halloween weekend, and the awesome hostess sat us down and took care of us. Would be back again for the beer selections and service.

Radegast Hall has always been one of my favorites in NYC. The beer hall and restaurant are so big they can accommodate big or small groups. I had my last minute birthday celebration there and it was the perfect spot for so many reasons. (You'd understand if you live in NYC). I wish they would waive the cake cutting fee for a large group that spent a substantial amount of money.

Place is awesome. They try to be authentic but the music is a bit too loud for that.

This place is pretty great! The beer is a great price and is delicious, the atmosphere is even better!! My one complaint was the price of the food, it’s nothing too special but is pretty pricey. I wound up only getting a pretzel and a beer, total was $26 which is a lot for one beer and an appetizer.

Love this place. Been coming here since 2012. Great burgers and bratwursts. The regular menu is great, especially the steak tartare. Service here is good but it takes a while to get a servers attention. The live bands they have playing are great. Highly recommend checking this place out when you’re in Williamsburg.

Best place in the neighborhood for watching sporting events and rowdy nights. I came here for the Eurocup game between England and Italy, it was an amazing time. Long, solid wood tables that are perfect for getting a large group together. The entire hall was filled with people cheering and hollering, so expect a lively atmosphere. Other notes? Service was good, but they can get overwhelmed on big events: get there early and be prepared to save a spot and get your beer/food early. You might not be able to flag a waiter after. Food wise? Delicious! We’re shared the giant Bavarian pretzel, fries, and more. My friend ordered the currywurst and died/went to heaven upon first bite. The french fries were also made to perfection. Bottom line? Add this place to your Williamsburg Bar Hop NOW

Loved the atmosphere. The live music Saturday night was fun. It was a little bit hard to get drinks at a timely pace, but that's because the bar was so packed, which meant that everyone was having a good time. The food was a miss for me but not because it was bad, I think I didn't fully read the menu's description of the dish so I ordered something that I didn't enjoy so that's on me.

I recently visited a Czech beer restaurant, and my experience was somewhat mixed. The beer I had high hopes for didn't quite meet my expectations. I found it to be unremarkable and lacking in distinctiveness. The hype around Oktoberfest might be a bit overrated in this case. On a positive note, the server was a standout. The waitress was incredibly knowledgeable about the beer selection and provided excellent recommendations. Her expertise added enjoyment to the experience, and I appreciated her guidance. However, the place was missing a particular atmosphere. It's possible that the time of day played a role in this, but it left me wanting more in ambience. In summary, while the service and beer knowledge were commendable, the overall experience could have hit better for me. Perhaps it was an off day, but this Czech beer restaurant left me underwhelmed.

I stopped by here with two friends after dinner to keep the party going with a few beers! The environment inside is really unique and definitely goes all out with the whole Bavaria beer hall decor. One of my friends was not too enthusiastic about the inevitable beer hall ~fragrance~ inside, so we sat at one of the many outdoor picnic tables in the street, which were also a great option. Outdoor tables are covered and big enough for multiple parties. Of course there is a great selection of beer, and there are also sausages on offer. You order at your table through a QR code, which brings up an app to order. It’s all very quick and easy. I would definitely come back here again for a casual drink, and maybe to try some of the food. Love an environment that is fun and down to earth rather than the trendy/exclusive/upscale bars elsewhere in New York.

Came here for a friend's birthday. The place is loud but the music can be fun (depending on your luck/your taste). There's a generally good vibe with lots of large tables and people dancing (sometimes on top of those tables). The place is hot as hell in the summer though with little to no air flow and they close the patio area really early. The drink selection is alright but I love that they offer large options. Food options are decent as well. Biggest downside is the service. I get that bars can be busy and I'm more than willing to be patient but it was far from a crazy night when I went. Once I got to the bar and ordered/received my drink, I got my receipt back pretty quickly. My card wasn't with it though. It's a decently heavy card and considering the receipt was 2-3 sheets of paper it was clearly not in there. Without moving from the spot I tried flagging down the bartender again who just ignored me. I finally flagged down another employee who told me it's not his problem and to talk to the bartender I spoke to. I finally went to the back side of the bar near the register and the same employee told me to not stand there even though I wasn't in anyone's way and I explained to him again I was just trying to find my credit card and he grunted and walked away. I finally got the bartender's attention when she walked to the register. Turns out she dropped my card. No big deal, I get it. It happens. But a simple sorry would have been nice. Instead she hands it to me without saying a word and walks away. On top of all that my $18 drink was charged as $24 which definitely includes a heftier tip than I had given (still tipped but my boyfriend placed more tip on his card so mine was less). All in all, I don't exactly love this spot. With the exception of the spaciousness, there's not much going for it.

If you want great German beer, then Radegast Hall & Biergarten is the place. Been here plenty of times and it's always the place to be on a Friday night. The live band was amazing and the beers nice and cold. Definitely recommend this place if you're ever in the Williamsburg area.

Loved everything. brat platter, cider, and atmosphere. Hubs had beer and it was great. Mustard and sauerkraut was perfect. Takes me back to Germany. The space was relaxed, the bar area was wonderful and there was live music. Couldn’t have asked for a better night. Staff there is great & helpful too!

Reviewing specifically for a private event! We had our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks event at Radegast to start off our wedding weekend. We worked with Kasia leading up to the event and she was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Their pricing is incredibly reasonable. The night itself was perfect -- the staff was so attentive in-person, the food was so delicious, and the vibe was so cool. We had 50-75 people there at any given time and everyone loved it. I'd highly recommend this space for an event.

Fun high energy venue, live music, and lots a beer. Food is below average but you don't go here for the food. The staff is fast, fun, and friendly. It's a good place for a casual night out. No parking.

Super fun German beer hall with plenty of space and a great beer selection. The service had been super friendly both times I’ve been there and there has also been live music during the day and night. Plenty of seating space indoor and outdoors, although the inside can get very crowded when busy. If you come here and order anything less than a liter of beer you’re not going to get the full experience!

Everything was perfect. The pretzel was by far the most amazing pretzel I've ever had, so doughy and fresh. Top notch service and really cool ambience.

Very cool ambiance and our waitress was fun to hang out with! The beers were really good and served in giant liter mugs! The curry bratwurst was off the hook and went well with my beer!

Grab your lieder hausen, your wife Helga, and come on down to this Biergarten. We actually stumbled across this place by accident and were super happy. It’s a great place to have a drink in a big open space. They sold beer by the liter+ which makes for great pictures and general excitement.

Love this Biergarten in Williamsburg! Great vibe and unique spot. Definitely worth a visit. Causal place which is also great for large groups to grab a drink!

I love this place. Good food, good beer. Had a "mega pint" of Hafbrau on a whim after dinner. Maybe the best place in williamsburg to have a drink and just hang out. Employees took care of me and my various guests on multiple visits.

Amazing selection of Oktoberfest beers. Full bar. I only drank and had the pretzel with beer cheese, 100% must order. Rest of menu looked amazing. Fun bartenders, despite how packed it was, they were all very attentive. Huge space, multiple large party tables inside, multiple mixed party seating tables for about 20 in secondary hall with secondary smaller bar. Outdoor seating as well for about 6-10 if you want to get cozy. After 1pm on Saturday October 1 there was a massive line, be prepared during Oktoberfest for this. Will return, hands down.
