Went at 6pm on a Wednesday night. Took 15m before we put in our drink orders. By the time our appetizers came, the waitress was firing on all cylinders. Turned into a good experience.

The waitresses seem like they're being bullied. Why do they talk like someone has a gun to their back? I do remember meeting the manager once. He seemed like the type to create such an environment.

We really enjoyed our visit to this Applebee's location. By the way, the prime rib tacos are absolutely delicious! The waitress was very nice and attentive as well.

I enjoyed my lunch at Applebee's. Had the Tex Mex Shrimp bowl and would highly recommend it. Also had a margarita which seemed very weak, but overall would rate it as a good experience.

Fun place to grab snacks and have a leisurely break in the day. I do wish you had a summer salad, but soup in the chilly months is well suited. The sound levels are a bit much for these 'over 60 ears', tho. Not too much conversation can be done like this.

Food was hot, prompt and done well. Plenty of it. The service was quick, friendly and attentive. It was not over loud or rowdy. We sat and talked for at least an hour after we finished our meal. They didn't need the table and weren't pushy. They continued to ask if we needed anything else .

Placed an order online for carry out and I walked in and the entire staff just stared and said nothing . Stood at host stand for a couple of minutes while everyone just carried on and talked to each other or walked right on by. Went to the bar and the same thing. Finally I walked up to someone since it was clear no one was going to see if I needed any assistance or if I needed to be seated and asked how one would pick up a to go order. Very weird that there was 0 hospitality.

Gave 1 star cause this is the second time I got cold food. The first time was under cooked and cold steak. the second time, it was cold riblets. It must be this restaurant. Because we've eaten at other Applebee's and everything was superb!! We will not go to the Applebee's in Crawfordsville ever again.

We stop here in our way home. Server was fantastic and food was great.

The service was the only thing that was decent considering how busy they were. The food just plain sucked. Steak should have been medium rare but was well done and dry, fries were cold and soggy. Bourbon street chicken did not taste well and out of suspicion it was bad we just didn’t eat it. They definitely need to work on the kitchen side.

We were seated in the bar, which was fine. It was lunch time and they were just starting to get busy. I don't think I have ever felt this way before, but I felt like the waitress/bartender was literally throwing out food at us. It was totally unnecessary. She wasn't that busy to be doing that. Service was terrible!!!

We tried going here this past Saturday. The host was running around as fast as she could panicking and telling everyone not to expect much because there short staffed. Mistake 1. She finally came to the front to seat us and started walking towards a table without even saying anything, she looked at us and I said “can we have a booth”….so she said “well now I have to seat someone else” We finally get sat and the server tells us that the kitchen is staffed and they have had 1 server walk out. They had 10 tables at the time with 3 servers on and managers running food. 10 tables….for three servers…with a host on….and food runners…the host was bussing tables too….give me a break guys, that’s not busy. Food was cold, and we tipped a server that we never seen because we didn’t wanna add to the chaos. Just a mess. Can crawfordsville have anything nice?

Ordered the baby back ribs. They were the best ever. Very meaty, tender. Chicken Wan-tan tacos were excellent. Great meal.

It was a holiday weekend. Place was really crowded. The girl at the host stand was terrific. She made everyone feel welcome. Food was hot and good. Everyone was working hard. We were very happy with our experience.

Food is always great but sometimes getting food could be faster and for the most part everyone is friendly. I do think one of the managers is an ahole but other than that its all good. I'm upgrading my review to great. The manager I had no time for had moved on and after the place got people back to work fully staffed it has been a huge improvement. Trent has a great crew and is a very good manager

Our waitress Alysa gave us the BEST service! Very patient , funny and kind. Made sure we had a good time and gave great food suggestions .

What happened? This is my first time of having a disappointing meal here. Steak was rare not well, had 0 seasoning or flavor. Shrimp batter was falling off the shrimp it was soggy. The saute mushrooms were barley cooked . We had 6 people all of our food was warm at best. The appetizer was spot on! Service was great, drinks were great, place was clean. But...took 60 % of our food home for the dog.

My waitress name was Ashley I went there to eat lunch and knock out some reports I had due. She seemed to be all over the place hostess bartender server. Great waitress good atmosphere. Bourbon Street chicken and shrimp was awesome. Patrin margaritas were just right.

My son Brandon and I his mom we where driving through town Brandon saw Applebee's sounded good 👍 it was a picture perfect tasting lunch. I had the cheese Berger it looked perfect veg's fresh bun just looked like they glazed It over with butter. Brandon had the baby back ribs he was very satisfied and he is picky. We had the special price we 😃👍 And a huge shout for waitress she new her stuff. We had a wonderful 😊 time a Big Thank You 💕💯 to are wonderful waitress and to Applebee's

Great Place for a Quick Meal!! I was in Crawfordsville for business, and I had just driven in from a 3-hour drive. I was looking for somewhere where I could get a fast meal. Being a seasoned Road Warrior Applebee's is one of my goto's when traveling since the food is always consistent and always good. This visit I was in the mood for something quick and healthy since I had been traveling all day. On this visit I went simple, I had a steak and some grilled veggies. The service was quick, my server was great and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. My steak was cooked perfectly, and the veggies were fresh, grilled well as they weren't burnt or overcooked and my meal was less than 600 calories. Just what I needed. This is a good place and I would eat here again.

Always excellent service! Bartenders are awesome and know what their doing. Food is always out fast.

Been coming to Applebee's for 3 years. This was the 1st time they didn't get my order right. Forgot the broccoli and put the mashed potatoes in with the steak. It was a mess when I got home. I will go back cause their food is really good.

READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE YOU GO. Brice/Bryce the night manager called the police on me for taking my drunk friend home. The police stopped me and thanked me for taking care of her. I guess her bar tab wasn’t enough for his liking. I don’t drink for all you keyboard heroes. Update: just got off the phone Ryan Hickle. That’s 10 minutes of my life wasted. He protects his useless employees.

Server Ashley was very nice and cheerful and knowledgeable about the menu. Ontime with refills and checking in with us. Food was scorching hot how I like it. Steak was cooked perfectly mmm. Definitely going back next time in Crawfordsville thanks.

Fun atmosphere, and good food. What stood out more than anything else was Bre, our waitress, she made a good time turn into a great time. Thanks to all of the other staff as well, as I said the food was good too.

Average wait time for restaurants of this nature. Fries were great. Ordered the prime rib with dip, don't remember what exactly what it was called, but it was pretty good. Kids enjoyed their cheeseburgers, and fries too!
