PARENT BEWARE! ETA: I called to make sure I didn’t misunderstand. They absolutely won’t allow a parent to go back with their child for any procedure aside from the first appointment. I’m personally not the type of parent that feels comfortable leaving my daughter alone with people I hardly know. They also don’t care if your child is more comfortable with you in the room. They obviously don’t care about the patient, or parent wishes. Don’t waste your time. It was going well until they informed me after the first appointment, I’m not allowed back with my child. They told me over the phone that I was allowed back, and their website explains it as well, but when you get back there they informed me that’s for the first appointment only. I hope this review stops others from getting fooled as well. This is an outdated approach, and we will not be back.

We were referred here after a horrible experience with our previous dentist. Doctor cooper is beyond amazing. He had developed a wonderful relationship with my 6 year old son who can be some what challenging. His bedside manner is amazing and we will definitely stick with him.

First I should say that I love Dr.Cooper. He was ready and willing to address any concerns I had regarding their procedures. I know that I can trust him with my little girl and most importantly my daughter trusts him as well. I do also like that when I walk in the receptionist are pleasant and greet me immediately. My only concern is with one of their assistants. She was nice at first but seemed to be irritated with me when I asked to speak with the Dentist. She walked away without telling my daughter to sit down and left my daughter holding a heavy door. This disturbed me. I know that every office has their protocols to abide by but when a parent wants some clarity, I believe it should be met with empathy and a great deal of understanding. I’ve hinted that their was an issue with Dr. Cooper whom assured me he would look into it however I just need this assistant to understand that she should be more careful and be responsible for her emotions. We all have bad days but in customer service we must set our bad days aside for the clients sake.

I am very satisfied with the quality of service we receive at Pediatric Dental Center. They are always friendly from the time you walk in until you leave. They always explain everything they'll be doing to your child's teeth, in detail, before taking them to the back. And they are very good at making children feel comfortable and confident enough to go to the back on their own. I'm so happy I chose Pediatric Dental Center as my son's dentist!

My son and I just moved to Kentucky from Charleston, WV. So trying to find the best pediatric dentist was a little overwhelming. I stumbled upon Pediatric Dental Center and saw their really great reviews, so we decided to give them a shot. To say I was blown away by their sincerity, compassion, and overall professionalism is an understatement. Dr. Cooper is amazing! He's super positive and the whole environment in the office is overwhelmingly energetic and great! My son can be quite a handful and is very much so always full of questions and wants to be hands on about anything he does. So they were really great about being totally cool with him just touching things in the office and his numerous questions. Dr. Cooper addressed all my concerns regarding my son's slight over bite because of his thumb sucking, as well as praised his dental health. We will officially be back and I'm so glad we have found a place to call home! If I could have given more than 5-stars, I would have.

Dr. Cooper and the staff at Pediatric Dental Center were great at my son's first dental appointment! They made us feel welcome and provided me with great information as a first time mom. We look forward to coming back for years to come!

I love Pediatric Dental Center! We have been going here for a few years and we have never been disappointed. Both of my children had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Devon Cooper this week. He is new to the office. He is thorough and very good with the kids. As most already know, Dr. Soper is also very good with the kids and thorough in explaining the process. The staff is professional and courteous as well. This office has an amazing team! I highly recommend this office for all of your pediatric dental needs!!!

This is a fantastic practice. All staff from front desk to dentist are really friendly. Dr. Soper and team will ensure all questions and concerns are address. My kids have been patients for 17 years! Best practice hands down!

Dr. Soper is a greedy insurance con. How do you have a discussion with a parent in front of other patients and the child to make the parent feel like a bad parent. You do not need to fill baby teeth cavities. It is just a way to hike up the cost for insurance and the parents. More then willing to pay for permanent tooth repair but not the extra nonsense. The bbb is next.

I have been taking my 6 year old and 4 year old here since their first checkup (around 1 yr old). We haven’t had any problems with them until now. My 4 year old has to have two cavities filled and will be receiving the “laughing gas” and he has NEVER had anything like this before. They absolutely REFUSE to allow me to go back with him! Not even while he receives the laughing gas. So I cancelled the appointment and switched dentists! I do not feel comfortable with it and that they just absolutely REFUSE to allow parents to be with their children. Not to mention the receptionist when I asked about it and them not allowing me to go back I said I didn’t feel comfortable with that she said “so do you want me to go ahead and cancel the appointment” in the most RUDE way ever.

As far as first visits go for my toddler, I couldn’t have asked for it to go any better! They made the experience fun, fast and interactive for my son. He left with a balloon and a positive impression of going to the dentist!

My family and I have been going to the Pediatric Dental Center for 14 years. Every time I walk into the Pediatric Dental Center I am greeted nicely and with wonderful service. My kids love going to the office. At the end of the appointment they choose a toy and a balloon. The staff there are wonderful and love to interact with the kids and make sure that they talk through everything that goes on. My kids always look forward to going back to the office. I am deeply appreciative for the hospitality the Dr. Soper and his team has shown to my family.
