What a a wonderful surprise! I have some very expensive jewelry that was damaged by another Rolex approved jeweler. I needed to repair the items or put them away because I was afraid of losing something. I took Watch Technicians my Rolex women’s president watch and my Chanel J12 watch. My Rolex is 30 years old. The clasp had worn down and would no longer clasp firmly and kept coming open. I had had it tightened by many jewelers over the years but it had worn so thin that was no longer possible. My J12 needed a battery replaced, but the previous jeweler had put one of the screws in at an angle and 2 other jewelers had told me they couldn’t open it, we’re afraid of damaging it further, and returned it to me unrepaired. Watch Technicians replaced the gold clasp on my Rolex and the repair is seamless. It’s like a new watch; I am so happy! They removed the wedged screw from the Chanel, could not replace it because the channel had been damaged, but put a new seal in it, verified it was still waterproof, changed the battery and returned it almost as good as new. The missing screw is something I know, but it doesn’t effect the beauty or functionality of the watch. Because these repairs were done so well I decided to trust them with my engagement ring. It is a 3 carat center-stone, emerald cut diamond with 2 carats of baguette diamonds in channels running down each side. One of the prongs on the center stone had worn down (30 years of everyday wear) and the channels down the side had worn so thin I was afraid I’d lose some of the smaller stones. They completely overhauled the ring, put new prongs on the center stone, rebuilt the side channels and returned it in 2 weeks. Being worried and suspicious (my nature) I took the ring to another jeweler as soon as I got it back to verify all of the stones were authentic; they were. My ring is like new and I no longer worry about losing stones. This store does SUCH A NICE JOB!! I would trust them with anything. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

I was extremely happy with my experience at their Creve Coeur location. The technician I talked to was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He was able to give me an estimate immediately and a return date in four days. When I reviewed my jewelry back it looked brand new. You would have never known it had been broken. I even had them replace a diamond on my wedding ring and you can’t tell which one is different from the originals. They even offered to tighten two of the diamonds that were loose and polished it for me for what I get was a very reasonable price. I will definitely go back for any future jewelry repairs, even though it is a bit of a trek.

I inherited this supposed WW1 era German cuckoo clock after my mother died. She and my dad had purchased it in Florida and it was a staple in my home growing up. Unfortunately, my mother had issues and it was damaged and filthy by the time I found it. I took it to the Watch Technicians off Olive and was surprised to find it was likely from 1850-1900 and they quoted me about 12 weeks to fix it. It turned into more like 6 months but I cannot be happier with it. I told them to take their time with it as it was so very precious to me. They fully restored and repaired it, inside and out and brought it to my home, hung it up. After a long hard work day it felt so good to see it working and cuckooing again. While here they repaired a Grandfather clock as a house call. I'm blown away by the care these people took with my priceless family treasure. Thank you so very much.

I came in for a repair to my wedding ring, as the jewel fell out the day before my wedding! They were able to fix it quickly. All I needed was a new stone but they checked all the other stones to make sure they were secure and they cleaned it up really well. It looked brand new. I brought my Luminox Navy Seal watch to Watch Technicians because there was moisture seeping under the crystal. I was waited on promptly and courteously by John. After explaining the problem to him, John inspected my watch and did a pressure test on it. He told me what was wrong and how much it would cost to have fixed. The price for the repair was reasonable and 5 days later I was notified that my watch was fixed and ready to be picked up. It is no longer accumulating moisture and is as good as new. In the past I have taken my watches to another place that replaces batteries in watches but does not specialize in jewelry. What appealed to me about Watch Technicians is that they specifically repair jewelry and watches. They promised that my watches would be ready in 30 minutes, and they kept their promise! I have an older watch that the manufacturer had a 4-6 month wait on to repair, not to mention the hassle of shipping back and forth. Watch Technicians replaced the battery, replaced the main gasket, ensured it passed a vacuum test, and cleaned the watch, all well within an hour (while I waited). Bravo! I’ll definitely be back.

Excellent customer service. Professional and friendly. Repaired delicate bracelet and repaired a lovely wall clock. Both items where sentimental. I trust them with any repairs on any type of timekeeper or piece of jewelry. The bracelet was twisted and broken. Its restored to its original condition. My clock is running like new. I inherited my watch from my Dad who inherited it from his Dad. I'm guessing it's close to 100 yrs old. It was in bad shape, no crystal didn't work,etc. Now I have a working pocket watch that I'll pass down to my nephew. It was never an expensive watch but having this keepsake is priceless to me. Everyone I spoke to was very helpful and professional. Obviously the technician knows his job well because my watch needed a lot of work to get it restored. I also had it engraved which turned out very nice.

This is a great shop for "all things watches & jewelry". Had to have a ring cut off, resized and returned and they did it with ease. Had the ring off in 10 minutes, resized and returned it about 2 days. The staff are professionals and extremely courteous and helpful. The fees were more than reasonable. I'll go here for any jewelry or watch needs. Great place and great staff.

I recently purchased an omega watch from an individual who recently had the watch serviced here. Prior to purchasing I had them “authenticate” this watch. The owner had said without a doubt that it was in fact authentic. I had trusted this to be the case especially since they had just serviced it and had the entire movement apart. Fast forward a few weeks with some concerns after wearing it and the watch is in fact not authentic. I am not sure how a business dealing in luxury Swiss watches could have missed a few of the indicators. In fact one of the indicators is the watch sets the date by moving the crown the opposite way it’s supposed to and the owner actually set the date after authenticating it, but still missed it. I would not trust any authentication by them or buy any product from them as their process is obviously flawed and you could pay for a product that is not authentic.

I just had the latest in a series of great customer experiences at this store. John Cochran and his colleagues always provide prompt, courteous, and quality services. I've had watches repaired, maintained, and been educated on the less visible features of some watches and optimizing care and performance. My watch battery had died so I took it in for replacement. Upon returning 25 minutes later, I received my watch and asked John what the service cost was. "It's free-the last battery we installed had a 5 year warranty and yours was still under warranty." I had no idea about the warranty and offered a grateful "Thank you John." It's just another example of why consistently using a quality local business repeatedly is good for all of us.

The watch technicians have served me well over the last few years. They are skilled, knowledgeable and helpful I was given a watch band for my Apple watch for a present, a year ago and they fitted it for me, for just 20 dollars, even though they didn't sell me the watch band. That was at West County Center. I was so impressed with them, that I bought a watch for travel that was reasonable and lovely at the same time. At the Olive and Craig site I took in a watch, a Tag, to fix the band and they fixed it beautifully. While I was there, I asked them if a Rolex I had bought second hand was really a Rolex, and they checked the serial number and assured me that it was. I also found a necklace box chain that i had gone to 3 jewlers to find with no luck, and they had the very one I wanted. I trust these people, and believe you should have a good experience with them if you need their services.

I had three inexpensive Timex watches with dead batteries. As fast as it took me to walk back to my car and fetch a book all three watches had new batteries, the correct time and date. Excellent!

I had a watch battery replaced and they replaced the quartz mechanism for a clock of mine. They have decent hours on Saturday which is important as I work m-f. I find them to be very knowledgeable and friendly and would recommend them to anyone.

The individuals who make up the Watch Technicians staff are incredibly customer service focused. They strive to not only fix your watch, click or jewelry item, but they want you to understand why they are doing the repair in that specific manner. I take all my specific items to them and I am never disappointed with their results. Their are many similar locations closer to my home address, but I have not found similar service.

I take all my watches to Watch Technicians. The service is first class and they take great care of my watches. Recently I needed a new band for a “less expensive” watch. Rather than sell me a band that cost more than the watch they suggest we order the right band in a better price range. It turned out perfect. Very pleased.
