An underwhelming experience and honestly not the best representation of Moldova. This entire experience felt like a business transaction you are simply a wallet. I would go so far as to say very overpriced. The only vineyard I would say is a waste of time and money. Which is very sad because it does in fact house some of the coolest and oldest bottles in the world. I wish I had a better review as this is one of the most famous, if not the most famous in wine. However nothing felt welcoming.

As a top tourist spot in Moldova, I have some ideas to make your place even better. First, your tour guides sound like they're reading from a script. It seems like they're not having fun. Imagine having to say the same things to 10 different groups of tourists. That's a waste of their talent and the interesting stories they could share. Second, the price for a basic tour and tasting is quite high. But the experience could be more exciting. Instead of an old movie, a quick tour through the cellar, and 3 wines for tasting in old fashined rooms, you could do these things: 1) Let visitors get involved. Create a room where they can make small wine samples and learn about how wine is made. 2) Try new things with wine. Let people mix their own wines or taste different kinds in fun ways. 3) Use technology like virtual reality. It can make the tour more interesting and interactive. instead of that old-fashined movie 4) Show Moldovan culture with cool projections and lights in the tasting room and cellar. Moldova has smart people who can help with tech stuff. Work with them to make your place the best it can be. If you want to be the best, keep coming up with new and better ways to make your visitors happy. Moldova has a lot to offer, and these ideas can help you stand out as the best place to visit.

Wine tours at Cricova. Prices are inexpensive- 1200 lei for two people tasting four wines. They also have a gift shop.

Unforgettable experience! Great wine, probably amongst the best in the world. We really enjoyed the tour. Sofia was our guide, she is very knowledgeable, and passionate about her job, she explained how champagne is made and so many other interesting things. It is amazing to see how all the barrels are stored in this underground production center and the wine tasting at the end of the tour makes it even more fun. A wonderful, highly recommended place!

Stunning place! The tour was amazing, the history of this place was very interesting. We also did a wine tasting which took place in a stunning room. The place was amazing and definitely recommended! Little tip: take a coat with you it's very cold when you go underground.

The biggest wine cellar in Moldova. Wine collections of the most important political figures are hosted here. A must see if you are in Chişinău. Also you can buy a lot of good wines from their local store. Constant 13°C temperature inside so pack some warm clothes.

I had a wonderful tour of the winery. The location is historic, the museum is engaging, and the winemaking process is interesting to learn about. I was a bit disappointed though that during the wine tasting, they gave us some cheap, experimental sparking wine rather than something more reputable and traditional. I was also somewhat frustrated that they made us wait for more that half an hour in the gift shop to go back to the entrance.

Fantastic winery tour. I’ve done them all over the world, and would honestly rate this as the best tour yet. You are driven through the vast network of caves in electric open busses, and the guide (who had perfect English) explains the process of wine making. You watch a movie and have a glass of sparkling wine. Then you visit another part to watch the bottling process. Tasting included 3 wines and another sparkling wine to finish along with some snacks. You leave through a gift shop (of course) but the value is incredible. Bottles of wine for €2!! An absolute must do in Moldova if you drink wine!!

Amazing place and very delicious wines. Important thing to note that this place is company headquarters, actual tours take place 1,8 KM from here. For tours go to: Complexul Turistic "Regatul Vinului", Kishinyovskaya Street 124, Cricova

The level of customer service at the terrasa bar just amazed me and my international guest visitors. We decided to buy some espresso after taking a tour and bartenders were just rude . We canceled our order and left.

I wisit this fantastic place. I'm very happy and I have lots of good memories from this place. This is place with strong energy and big history behind it. Just imagine that you are in town which length is 100km but it is under ground. I saw how people working there and making Moldovian wine 🍷. Also there is lots of collection that are very old and still have good condition, you can clearly see what form were having the instruments on that time. You will never get that emotions from the photos and videos , you have to visit this place to feel it on real time. Regarding to staff they are so polite and with good experience. Woman that was guiding us about the wines knows everything, her talking was very clear. I'm very very happy that I wisit this place. 😇🥰😍🤩😝

The tour could be improved by showing where/how the grapes are cultivated and the production process. The tasting is made up of 4 fix glasses of wine, however there is no option to taste all the wines, or a wine of your choice. How are you supposed to buy the wines from the shop if there is no way to taste them even for a fee?
