One of the most beautiful castles i have seen, ever. The ambience around the castle is mind blowing. You have to visit Schwerin to see this castle. 100% recommended and worth it

You just pay for the adults . Children under 18 can enter freely. Very beautiful castle inside and out . The gardens are waw the view is stunning. Worth to visit. I am adding some of the photos so as not to spoil the surprise effects from the visit.

These are the grounds and gardens around the castle and are very beautiful and well maintained. There is small cave system too at the base of the gardens. A restaurant is located inside for visitors to have refreshments and coffee.

The gardens and outside area of the castle was my favorite thing on this trip. Sure the castle inside has an extensive history but outside there is so much beauty.

A wonderful castle from medieval Germany. Tourists can visit inside and view the palace and artefacts from this place

NICE CASTLE BUT HORRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE IF YOU DONT SPEAK GERMAN. It's a nice place to visit, only about an hour drive from Hamburg. You can visit the gardens free of charge. To enter the museum is €8.5 and €2 extra if you want the audio tour. The problem is not everything is in English, some displays have no translation of the descriptions, and the security staff either don't speak English or choose not to do it. They give instructions or reprimand you in German as if you were supposed to understand them. A very rude man at the gift shop came to me speaking in an aggressive manner pointing at a sign in German while speaking German. I told him I can't read German neither I understand what he was saying, just then he said to me not to touch the product I was holding, then I asked him how I was supposed to buy it if I couldn't grab it to purchase it, he said I had to ask him to take it for me. It's gift shop for God's sake!!! IF YOU WANT TO MAKE MONEY THEN CATER FOR TOURISTS.

The castle is fantastic and worth visiting. I love all the castles and palaces I visited in Germany, and there are thousands of them. Hohenzollern Castle will be my next one.

Absolutely stunning. Had some time on my hands and decided to go for a stroll. Did not regret it! Worth your time for sure, especially in spring/late spring when the trees are in full blossom.

This is a must-see in Northern Germany! The castle is just gorgeous and it's gardens are a pleasure to stroll through!
