One of the worse experiences in hostels ever!!! I have arrived at around 22:00 and no one was there who could accommodate me. I have tried to call reception and owner 100 times, but no one picked up my calls. On the end I had to sleep on the floor between sofa and biliard table. Terrible!!!

This place is filthy. The whole thing kind of smells like a wet dog and it has a caravan park vibe to it. Its a little sketchy as well honestly. The staff was nice but I left after 30 mins because everything isn't in good condition. They had a homeless girl with her dog (bless her but the dog shouldnt be in rooms) staying in my room which added to the overall filth. They clearly dont care. They shouldnt be on booking.com and it's more like a druggies bastion than a hostel for people travelling. I would genuinely recommend sleeping on a park bench instead.

If you’re a regular traveler and stayed a lot of hostels, then this one might disappoint you. Firstly, you won’t find anyone if you reach there after 12pm. Then you need to call and follow the instructions to get your key. Then, there is a lack of toilets according to the number of room. Also, the shower hall must be renovated. Toilets and showers are a bit dirty. Good thing, beds and room were clean. Kitchen is also big. In summary, you can stay here if you don’t have any other option. In my opinion, 28 euro for one night at this type hostel is way too much.

We arrived quite late and the room that was prepared for us had unwashed sheets on the beds and glass shards on the carpet. Additionally the smell of the carpet was horrible, but the windows were closed, so it was pretty much a horrible room experience. I'm giving two stars, because, even though we arrived quite late we could reach the personnel after multiple calls to find out that the key from our room was in the door. I would not suggest anybody to stay here.

Not recommended at all, such an expensive price for such a run down gross cold hostel. The area is quite and empty, i was going there in the evening alone(young girl) and that was a bit creepy. You have to go through the parking, there is literally nothing around, no supermarkets, no cafes, bars, nothing. During day time it doesnt look this bad, close to S-bahn, 15 minutes from Warnemünde and the beach. Now read further and don't make a mistake as i did DO NOT BOOK!!! Everything is very old, that wouldnt be a huge problem, but everything is not cleaned for hell a lot of time. Hygiene is zero. Bedsheets didnt smell washed and clean. The carpets and furniture have unidentifiable stains, and it smells throughout the hostel for cigarette smoke. The rooms are cold, lights are not bright. Showers shine with mold everywhere you look. Broken tiles provide for the color aspect on the feet (risk of injury). Shower drain was clogged, everything was soapy, covered in dirty foam, remnants of skin and hair from people who had washed there before. The cabins are unpleasant with wet, soapy shower curtains which seem to be never washed. Keep in mind that there are no towels, no shower supplies, nothing. So ,yeah shower was terrible and disgucting. I was afraid that im gonna get some diseases there. The toilet was covered in urine.Dirty and smelly kitchen with bugs, 1 non working fridge the other one is sticky, filthy, with old moldy food inside it which stinks, dirty dishes, stove. Everything was oily. Not safe to cook and eat there. For the second night in Rostock, I spontaneously booked another accommodation. I payed 4€ more and stayed alone in a lovely clean room at Rostock Übernachtung Hostel, which saved my trip and was such a relief after Backpackers Inn. I find more then 30 euros a night in a shared room quite expensive in general, BUT IN THIS ONE ITS UNBELIEVABLE how this hostel can still be licensed.

Just don't stay. Period. You can feel better sleeping on the street.

Small but cozy rooms, soft beds, nice service, and great (and free) Wi-Fi! Reasonable priced especially for bigger groups. Only downside is the quiet hours from 10pm to 6am.

I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone rent a place at this hotel. The interior is dirty and the whole house smells of mold. I am absolutely disgusted. Another thing is only cold water was running... In addition, the service lady was drunk and no one even knew about our arrival. This place should be closed immediately by the health department and the hotel should disappear from all "booking" platforms
