After a walk along Crosby beach we stopped off at this lovely pub. The dogs and us made to feel very welcome by the staff and locals. Good food, and the dogs enjoyed their sausages 🐶🐺🐶🐺

Good food...had a great afternoon in the sun...only went out for a walk and five hours later was still there enjoying it..

Very nice steake chips peas onion rings pepper saurse and a pint of birra morretti .very nice staff .outdoor beer garden swings slide deffo coming again. The only thing letting it down was paying £31 for the meals with a tiny drop of pepper sauce.

What a fantastic pub! Great beer garden, kids play area, excellent beer at cheap prices and lovely friendly staff! Cracking out! Will visit again and again.

Popped in for lunch of fish and chips. It was delicious. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice clean toilets. Calm, relaxed atmosphere.

I waited for 2 hour for a desert Service was poor and the food was very Expensive for 2 people and the portion. and even my dying Grandma can cook better. Go to wetherspoon cheaper and friendliness and the food is pretty good 👍

Lovely meal, great staff and very dog friendly. My pup was presented with a surprise bowl of food which he absolutely loved

Had to get a refund because we never received food after a two hour wait, nobody comeover to collect the glasses neither. Plus kids playing football kicked the ball right at us spilled all our drinks on us

We didn't order food on this visit. It's been a very long time since we last visited and we were well impressed how lovely the venue is. It was nice and clean and a pleasure to be in. The staff were very friendly. We only had a couple of drinks but will definitely be coming back to sample the lovely smelling food

Came here for a saturday night drink. Nice atmosphere, the beer garden is lovely with nice lighting. Live music also.

Visited with friends on Sunday, had a lovely Turkey dinner with all the trimings. Service from Sharon was excellent. A happy smiling lady whom was very helpful. See you next Sunday👍

Kids Christmas party was brilliant. Staff are so lovely and food was great. Kids had a brilliant time. 2nd year in a row and can’t wait for next years.

Nice place nice friendly staff food ok nothing g to wrote home about but good for pub food. Kids liked it and was a nice standard of clientel in there. Little play area outside for kids

This place is a joke. No Carling lager, no bread and butter. One girl serving the whole pub on a warm, sunny afternoon. Ordered fish n chips. After a lengthy wait (by which time I had no drink left) I was given scampi n chips! No thanks. Eventually they got the order correct but the fish, chips and peas were all of varying temperatures. Hardly surprising. My wife ordered gammon (rubbery) and egg (hard). Amateurish, woefully understaffed and totally unprepared for the holiday season which will soon be upon us. To be fair though, the fish was well prepared and quite tasty.

Lovely experience and service from the lovely Luna. Food was really nice too. Brought my little girl for a play in the garden and she loved it too. X

Great beer garden and atmosphere. Only problem is they stopped serving food at 7pm on a Saturday. Group of us had to leave because we weren’t able to bring a slice of pizza in which other pubs in the area allow you to do if no food service.

Really nice pub, great bar staff, very friendly! Inside is a bit jaded but still nice. The outside is superb though, nice berr garden with trestles and good tables and heaters on hand to keep you warm. Plenty of tables too and a play area for children. Plus san miguel! Outstanding.

After experiencing shocking service in the summer I decided to give this pub another chance as it was my local and favourite Waterloo pub for over 20 years. I wish I hadn't!!! I ordered a pint of Heineken and it was immediately obvious the glass was not clean and gave the pint a funny taste. I took my beer back and explained what was wrong but was not believed. I said please taste yourself but instead gave me a disparaging comment and poured the pint into anew glass. When I asked for a fresh pint I was told there was nothing wrong with my drink and the barman walked away. Needless to say I did not drink the beer and will not return under current management.

Absolutely awful food frozen microwave meal was the Sunday lunch, advertised pink sirloin and it was from a tin square, cold pub, staff friendly but not interested in complaints, went to another place to eat after paying £23.00 for 2 lunches with square sirloin and animic potatoes

Went there on a day out last time I was here was 50 years ago last time in this public house it was good then and better now food was good too south road Waterloo has changed so much stii leads to the shore and now that's changed too for the better

Lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy a drink in the sunshine. Staff are helpful & cheerful. TVs out side if you want to enjoy watching sports.

Now a green king pub (which is an improvement). It is kid and dog friendly with a large beer garden and play area. It's nice to see an improved beer selection. I think the poor staff are a bit over run as there were outside tables covered with plates and glasses.

Nice staff and decent live music on a Saturday night. Great place to go for a chilled out pint in the evening.
