Went in with pain in my upper left side a few months ago. I am a person who doesn't like to express a lot of pain so people don't always take me seriously, but believe me I was! After 8 hours in the waiting room I was taken to a little room, after having nothing but an x-ray, and was told 🤷🏻‍♀️ and sent home, in pain with no further testing. Came back a week later with the same pain. They took me to triage where the ladies were nice, but due to my anxiety they asked a man to do an EKG. He did nothing but complain the entire time about how many EKG's he's done and never took lunch. He was told that someone was coming in with a possible heart attack and would need an EKG after mine. A big sigh and more complaining. We are sorry, sir, for inconveniencing you with our potential heart issues. I mean, seriously? Very unprofessional. At least the second time they did a CT, but I still have pain in my upper left side as they again said 🤷🏻‍♀️ This time the ER Dr., a female, was incredibly rude and uncaring. If I wanted to be treated this way... well, I don't know where I'd go honestly... Go to cookeville or somewhere else. they promised they'd be better when they became Covenant but all they got was a makeover. Still hurting, by the way...

I was in a serious car accident but because I was conscious with no visible injuries I was considered non emergency. Fine. It hurts to breathe and I have glass in my eyes but they will do nothing to fix this because I have to wait for the doctor. Things not looking too hopeful as people have been waiting here for 12+ hours.

There is a male nurse in the ER that should be relieved of his employment. Very rude to my wife when she was sent there for an MRI, due to a work injury. If you lack compassion go work in a crematorium.

let absolutely none of the phone numbers for this facility working be the first warning. DO NOT GO HERE. got in at 10pm last night and have waited 9 HOURS for a room on a tuesday night and still haven’t got one so we finally left. Fecila at the front desk in the emergency room was no help and her answer to almost everything was “i don’t know” with a very rude attitude the entire time. much more to say, wouldn’t even give them 1 star if it was an option. Don’t waste your time.

I was at this place on June 15th 2023 at 3:00 a.m. in the morning. I have no problem with the woman that registered us but the RN nurse that said she has for 20 years experience named Farris. " BEWARE". She did a number on my hand , left a bruised at lasted 2 weeks. I told her that I had small veins , she stated I will do it twice then I have someone else coming do it twice and then I'll have someone else come and I said no. Nurse Farris said after her failed attempt to get blood out of my arm & hand. Nurse Farris left a needle in arm for medicine & lab was called and took blood out. Nurse Farris told me if I decide to leave to let her know cuz she needs to take this out of my arm.Right before 8am I told front desk going to car to lay down gave my phone number to the front desk about 10 minutes later called &got a room(5 hours wait,so far went in with one hurt arm now can't use neither).9:00am Dr comes in Sprained Arm.10:00 am ring bell , Nurse comes in give me 1 hydro pill and a pain shot and I was out there a little after 10:00am.7hours wait for help relief. this is unacceptable One person's was before me .

We came to Crossville to help a friend suffering with a serious kidney stone issue. The emergency room was clean and the service was prompt and outstanding. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

Every employee I had contact with while in the ER were beyond amazing! They were all kind and caring. When you get the quality of care they gave it makes a huge difference. Especially when the patient has no clue of what is wrong and they are in a state of worry, confusion, and straight up scared. To every staff member that was there Thank You!

Took my grandson in due to server dehydration. He hadn't peed in over 24hours. Wouldn't drink, eat, or even move. He had been diagnosed with RSV last week, the flu, and an ear infection. Once there we sat for over 6 hours. Knowing he was severely dehydrated they didn't seem to care. There had been other children in the waiting room....one they said they thought had meningitis. In 6 hours not one of the children in that waiting room got seen. We sat and watched other people walk in and get seen but the children all just sat in the waiting room. The woman behind the glass acted like we all are bothering her even told the parent of the child with meningitis who was pacing to sit down. Finally, all the parents, us included, just got up and left. We had to go to Knoxville children's hospital for help. Once there they identified he was severely dehydrated and hooked him up to an IV. If you can't help us, then just tell us. We could have been to children's and had an IV placed by the time they had us sitting. It seems Cumberland medical center...at least the ER has just given up on even trying to act like they care. For the woman who was behind the glass.... you need a new job. Since people coming in seem to bother you so much why not just go work at a prison. At least those people you are being rude too kind of deserve it. The parents of sick kids just want help for our little ones. Again, if you can't take us, or you don't have someone to see us just say so. We are all grownups. I promise we can take it.

My mom had a heart attack last week, 04/25/23,. The receptionist, to the nurses, and Doctors were awesome. She had two stents put in and stayed in the hospital for two days. The staff was very professional and friendly. They made my moms stay very comfortable. To all the staff members you guys did an A++++. Thank you for your hard work.

Got off work. Went to the ER for help trying to figure out what was going on with me. Sat here...4 hours now, and still waiting. Super excited that I get up in 6 hours for work again. UPDATE. Been here 7 hours now... Still haven't even met a doctor....

My father waited 4+ hours in the ER this morning and never got a diagnosis. While sitting in the lobby, I saw many people come and go while we waited with no answers or follow up. We ended up leaving and my father is sitting home in a lot of pain. This hospital desperately needs new management and a new strategy. No one should have to wait hours to be seen in an ER.

Horrible service in severe abdominal pain and have been in the waiting room close to 5 hours now. 4 of us watched 20 or more other people that came in here after us get help. I wanna cry. Should have went to another facility. Still waiting.

Glad to know this “hospital” cares more about having a good time at work than actually caring about the patients that come in with things that need seeing. Sat in the waiting room for 2 hours before saying something and then magically some nurse comes and pulls up back and now we sit for another hour, still waiting, just to see the doctor FIRST. What a COMPLETE joke. Makes me appreciate military hospitals.

I have never had to go to the ER, especially in the middle of the night. I wasn’t sure if we should go to CMC or drive to Cookeville. We decided to drop by about 2:30 am, and we were immediately taken back. They were very thorough with their testing. Getting right to the bottom of the problem I was having. They helped me manage the pain. Now I’m schedule for surgery with them in 2-3 weeks for gallbladder removal. The staff works very hard and are very helpful and they do not get the acknowledgment they deserve.

I'm only giving 4 stars because some people were left waiting longer than they should've, but it's an ER so I mean that is partly understandable. When I was seen last night, the nurse (whose name i unfortunately can't remember) and doctor (Michael Watson/ were both absolutely wonderful to me. The quality of care I received was well above what I had anticipated seeing the reviews of this hospital. I highly recommend this ER doctor. He cares very much for his patients and his humor definitely helped to calm me down a great deal. ☺️

I was in the Emergency department, my Asthma started acting up after an accident, the Dr did not explain my x ray results to me ,because I have Ga medicaid , we were planning to move to TN and I had a job opportunity which fell through, this Emergency department could not help me find a way home, they refered me to the health department ,the staff was friendly but it's been a month since the visit , I read my discharge paperwork not once did the doctor explain that my diaphragm was flat ( normal with asthma exacerbation no it's not) or they could not rule out one of my ribs was broken so I wasn't informed about a potentially life threatening injury which could have punctured my lungs, I was not treated properly because I didn't have TN medicaid . I'm legally disabled have been all of my life, I became legally disabled in 2016 my insurance would not work in TN why isn't it mandatory that all 50 states accept disability medicaid ,the pharmacy didn't mind making me pay 75 dollars out of pocket for 2 prescriptions. The doctor not telling me about the x ray results was in professional I could have moved the wrong way and died
