The owners are very nice and the Inn is beautiful! Very clean and very relaxing. Whenever Green Mountain Paranormal Investigations happens to be in the area, this is the place that we choose.

The best experience I’ve ever had at a B&B! Marlene is so thoughtful and lovely, and clearly puts a lot of work into creating a nice experience for her guests.

My family visited from Georgia for a family reunion and rented all 6 rooms for 5 nights. Marlene, and Denise went above and beyond to ensure all of our needs were met. We appreciated the attention to details, the cleanliness of the Inn, the comfortable beds, and the tasty breakfasts! We will definitely stay at The Inn at 28 whenever we are in town to visit family.

Owner Marlene, innkeeper Denise and handyman Mike truly care about this place, their guests and the town of Cuba. It shows from the spotless room, delicious breakfasts, and all the little creature comforts provided. 2 adults and a child stayed in the mountain lake room and we had tons of space to spread out for the week. If we’re ever back in Cuba, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.

It was nice to feel like I was at home. The place is extremely clean, comfy and bed was super fantastic. The breakfast was outstanding and the conversation great. Highly recommend this Inn for your travel stay. I will be back.

Our family stayed at the Inn at 28 over Memorial Day weekend occupying 4 different rooms for two nights. The rooms were all clean, the mattresses were firm, the room temperatures were comfortable and indiviudally controlled like in a modern hotel; yet the room furnishings were unique and charming, not cookie cutter. The common areas like the living room , the porch , and the dining room were all inviting, comfortable and classy. The breakfasts which included fruit, baked goods and fresh eggs cooked to order were amazing . Marlene and her staff made us all feel like we were part of her family not hotel guests. A memorable experience that is the very best one could ever expect from a B & B. We hope to be back again !!

The Inn at 28 is awesome. Very clean and inviting. Marlene serves an awesome breakfast. We were in town for a wedding, stayed an extra night for our anniversary and had other great people to have conversation with around the breakfast table. We will definitely be back.

First ever stay at a bed and breakfast and this place was top notch. Some friends were also staying here and they have done B&Bs before and said this was in the top ten. Marlene was friendly. The breakfast was great. Rooms were very nice and the bed was super comfortable. Wi-Fi was reliable and fast. Thankful for the portable AC - it was a hot week.

The Inn at 28 is the BEST place to stay in the area, hands down. Every area and room are impeccably clean and organized, with high quality bedding, sheets, lotions and soaps. It’s very obvious that the owners take great pride in this place. I felt right at home from the moment I stepped in, thanks to the warm and inviting atmosphere and the really excellent staff. The breakfast is unbelievably good – fresh eggs (cooked to order!), fresh fruit, local produce and meats, hot coffee...I could go on and on, but really, it’s just the best and a great way to start the day. We even got a welcome snack (including fresh baked cookies!) when we checked in. The Inn is centrally located within walking distance to the Cuba Cheese Shoppe (worth a stop!) and the downtown area, and you also have easy access to the highway. There’s even a pub with great food and drinks right next door! I will be back for sure!
