I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a less than pleasant experience. I encountered several issues during my stay. Firstly, upon entering the room, I noticed that both the bed and pillows had an unpleasant odor. It was clear that the room had not been properly cleaned prior to my arrival. Furthermore, I discovered that the toilet had not been cleaned, and there was urine residue left behind, which required me to clean it myself. This lack of cleanliness was disappointing, What added to my frustration was the lack of responsiveness from the hotel staff. Despite my efforts to seek assistance from the reception staff, they were unable to resolve the issues I encountered during my stay. Additionally, there was a serious maintenance issue in the hotel, as water was leaking from an unfixed ceiling in the corridor. This issue had been temporarily patched up with cardboard, which raised questions about the overall quality and maintenance of the hotel and one kid well on the wet floor. Overall, my experience at this hotel was far from satisfactory, and I would caution others to consider these issues before booking a stay here. It was a disappointing and frustrating experience that I would advise others to avoid.

I would revise my rating probably if I come to Cuddalore again. It was a pleasant surprise to get a good room as this was the first time here in the city. For value for money I would give 5 stars. Avenues to improve... The reception staff was finding it difficult to pull my reservation up even when I had called in advance to notify my late arrival. There was no warm water and cable TV wasn't recharged. I didn't have time to raise the issue as I was staying overnight and just didn't have the energy to do so. However I appraised the receptionist at check out I would kind staying here again at all I didn't have the chance to use their restaurant service.

We went for a reception. Hygiene and tasty 😜 😋 vegetarian foods. Gud service. Always full

Ordered a mushroom fried rice parcel. The mushroom had rotten egg smell, rice was spoiled, no salt. Worst food ever ate before. Kindly look after. Really hurts as we pay a lot for a worst food.

One of the service staff members was keeping on bugging us on whether or not we are done and can she get the bill. That's a very unprofessional and unethical practice for the hospitality industry.

Every time i enter this restaurant for lunch they serve vermicelli based payasam only. The eventual possibility of replacing it cereal based payasam made out of paaghu jaggery with a tint of cardamom & nutmeg may be looked into.

Stayed for 1 night. Was upgraded from a standard to a deluxe room (at extra cost), since the standard room was too noisy (window facing the highway and vehicle honking) Requested for normal water in a jar, instead of the bottled mineral water. Were given 2 bottles of Bisleri mineral water !! The room was good and spacious. Would be good if they can provide a fan also (if not a ceiling fan, at least a table fan). Not everyone is used to sleeping with the AC. We had to keep adusting the ac. A notch above or below would make the room too hot or cold. A shelf in the bathroom would help keep toileteries. Parking is available Locations is on the highway. Attached veg restaurant. Ordered tea. the tea tasted of chlorine (probably the flask was not washed properly)

Staff are not friendly, quality of the food also changed, Management got changed to a marvadi, not like previous management. Breakfast was very worst. We entered resturant by 8 AM, no bread, no Vada, no juice, we asked for the dishes, the service person denied to provide dish, they said it's over and we need to come early for all items Please don't prefer this hotel

1. Room is very bad, don’t expect any good amenities. even the water heater will not work. I thought its only in my room later i come to know from my relatives stay in other rooms also have the same issue. Frequent power cuts in the night 2. Service is good 3. Location is prime

1)Yesterday I booked a room in this hotel with my family and after entering the AC did not work. 2)There is not enough ventilation in the bathroom. 3)All the blankets in the sleeping area were dirty. 4)All queries are not properly answered at reception. 5)By 9 45 pm all the food was gone. 6)I immediately got back my deposit of 4,000 and vacated the room. 7)Please no one book a room in this hotel and lose their money

After morning horrible experience at aen for lunch entered here. Ordered on veg biriyani and curd rice. Biriyani made of basmati was less salt. Raita old and not good. A small cup of gravy was good. But curd rice excellent with a good cup of piriyal

Awesome option for the price. Rooms are really good. Their restaurant is good, tried veg food and it was awesome taste.

There is no other option than this hotel Cuddalore.. so i would say ok to stay .. but u can always check for staying in pondicherry there r many good hotels. N cover to Cuddalore

Booked for Valaikappu. Arrangements perfect. No probs. Good service. Bit costly. They charge rent and food per plate cost too.

Affordable price with lot of facilities. Car parking is spacious and service is excellent. Buffet provided during last trip was tasty and delicious. During this trip they have separated buffet service. It's suggested to continue the previous pattern ordering the menu needed for each person.

Had a great experience. The rooms were great but, the bed was too small for two people sharing one room. Costly, but worth it. Service was great and location is in the main area only.

Pros: AC was working good, bathroom was clean, parking space is huge, the veg restaurant has decent food. Cons: Walls of the room are not clean, Bedspread is dirty unsure whether they changed it, hot water is unavailable from 10am till next day early morning, not worth the price of Rs. 3800.

Good taste for vegetarian and awesome ambience for meetings in cuddalore

If I can give 6 stars for the service, I would give them. Let it be Kathir (?) or Chandran in the room service or Vasu Venkatesh and Mohammed in the restaurant, they ensured our stay was extremely pleasant. We went as a group with 5 ppl over the age of 60 and the facilities as well as service were really good. Rooms can be a little better as the AC was either full blast or to be switched off, but overall a really nice experience. Thank you all.

My first pick is on food at Abhiram’s which is their own restaurant and the food is too good. You don’t need to worry about quality and quantity. The rooms are spacious with a dining table. We did face A/c issues during our stay but that was our bad timing. Had it not been for this issue I would still recommend for a stay. Officials of nearby industries also prefer to stay here.

Rooms and restuarnt was excellent. Really enjoyed the room comfortness. Lagging only in the mini hall/conference hall, no proper ventilation. Not apt for presentations

This hotel has few inherent issues : 1. Hump while entering in the bathroom will certain hit the leg for the occupier -safety issue 2. The bottom edge of the wooden bed is very sharp & most likely to get injured while you get down from the bed 3. The complimentary breakfast quality is below par

It's located hot downtown and average price include breakfast... And the hotel have large parking wallet, Hospitality behaviour staffs can assist whats your needs.... They should need to maintain the same... Hearty thanks to Woodlands hotel.

We didn't stay there but only had lunch in the restaurant on 9th April,2022. We ordered sambar rice for two of our family. What was served to us the balance Pongal prepared in the morning mixed with sambar. When confronted, the waiter admitted it. It was discarded but no reduction was made in the bill. Bitter experience. So be careful. But meals was good.

Enjoyed a weekend staying here was a good experience service was excellent and professional the top most highlight is thier hotel if you are a vegetarian or prefer to eat vegetarian the you should try their restaurant they taste so delicious

Hotel guest rooms are ok in Cuddalore but so far Driver's halting one common room very small like waste dumping room worst they think Drivers are animal's very dirty, not provide any sleepmat's & acc's very bad uncleaned toilet's...😥

Whenever I visit cuddalore, I always make it a point to stay in Woodlands. Their service have never disappointed me in the past. But, this time, I should say the service I usually get has receded a bit. Though my stay was pleasant and there isn't anything to complain about, the service was a bit off-hand. This time, the food served at Abiram restaurant wasn't up to the mark. Earlier, the food tasted great. When I first visited Woodlands, I was taken pleasantly aback to see Naan on their afternoon menu. I ordered it and the food was simply yum. But, now the taste has detriorated and the complimentary breakfast they provide was also not that good. They don't offer any concierge services and there isn't any helper to assist guests with any chores. There isn't any cab services to pick up guests (if they come either through trains or buses). This time, I noticed that the restaurant menu didn't a wide variety of choices too. These are some suggestions on my part. Other than that, my stay was pleasant and good.
