What a waste of educational and tourist potential this place is. The directors, personal and guides in this museum should visit and learn a couple of lessons about how to run a place like this, make it child friendly and a great learning experience from other museums around the world like Sudwala Caves And dinosaur park in South Africa.

We loved everything about this museum. The architecture, the café, the models, the exhibition and most of all the staff. They even called a taxi for us. Also, the storage spaces are big enough for suitcases so if you want to check it out before you head to the station you totally can!

Really good! Accessible, easy to follow, entertaining both for adults and children, well documented. Staff was most kind and helpful and willing to help the little ones understand. I can't believe it's for free... Impossible to miss the main attraction of the museum, the concavernator cocovatus, found in Cuenca province; impressive fossil, complete almost. Loved it!

We went on a rainy day yet it was still a great experience! We took L6, a bus that runs about every 30 minutes and stops closest to the museum, although one can also take a cab specially on holidays to a avoid the wait. The general entrance is 5€ and if you have time, try their cafe and/or restaurant as it offers one of the best views of the city.

Very nice museum. Since Januari 2022 a small entrance fee (used to be free). Still free on Wednesday. Very nice view on Cuenca as well.

Fun and interesting way to spend an hour or so on a wet and windy day. Information panels are in Spanish and English too.

Great paleontology museum. Good for adults and children. Inexpensive but first class.

If you're in the vicinity of Cuenca and you are traveling with kids, the Museo Paleontológico de Cuenca is a must visit. Fantastic dinosaurs inhabit the museum itself as well as the grounds. The photo opportunities are endless. Plus, you and the kids will get a great education in the paleontological history of the region, not just from the museum but from the wonderful staff, who are eager to share their knowledge and enthusiasm for exploring the world of the dinosaurs!

Brilliant modern Museum with fascinating exhibits and spectacular graphics - video, surroundsound etc. Really helps you get clear picture of evolution. An excellent hour or two in wonderful surroundings. Grounds lovely too with lots of information and life size dinosaur models.

👍👍 What an amazing place to be.. I didn't know about this place when in my road to Madrid my girlfriend sawed on the map! From the moment you are visiting the old city you are going 2-3 century's back in time!
