Good food and decent prices. The staff and friendly and bubbly. Set menus are varied and offer good value. Dishes are extensive and tasty. When visiting, you get to see the chefs at work through and open-plan layout. Things to note: 1. They don't accept card payments 2. They don't deliver 3. When it's busy, like a Friday night, it can take over 1h 30m to get your order. That being said, it is a great place to order a takeaway from.

The quality of the ingredients simply lets down Elaahi. They don’t appear to have lamb curries, instead it’s simply called ‘meat’. This in itself is unappetising but when you taste it I’m not actually sure what meat it’s supposed to be. The chicken isn’t much better. Instead of chicken breast freshly cut and cooked you get small chunks of what I assume is from a bag of cheap frozen chicken bits. The curry flavours themselves are actually ok, hence two stars. But the quality of the ingredients is frankly very poor. There are lots of good reviews by what I assume are people who appreciate the constant discounted prices. I’d much rather pay a bit more for good quality food instead of a curry made on the cheap. Overall I wouldn’t go again despite trying a few times to hope it would improve. Cinnamon on Liverpool road was much better despite being linked somehow. I look forward to finding a suitable replacement nearby.

Just ordered the goan chicken, unfortunately it was lamb, but fortunately it was top notch. Mixed meat starter was excellent. I've had takeaways from here over the years but 1st time I've reviewed as it was so good.

This place still owes me a takeaway. Gave me totally the wrong order of 2 meals with sides, rice and nab bread. Messaged multiple times but never got back to me. Won't be using again. Poor service

Fantastic food and service. We had a slight issue when I got home with our order. I rang the restaurant and within 10 minutes they were at my property with extra free food as well as the food we ordered. Can't fault them. Brilliant service 👏 👌.

I have been using this take away for a number of years now and have never been disappointed once. The food is of a very good quality and generous amount. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Please don't be put off by the outside this place is a hidden gem 💎

Amazing food. Just amazing. I grew up in Leicestershire, amd lived near Rusholme in Manchester for a good while, and I can tell you that the food here is properly good! Authentic, delicious and great value for money. It is cash only, but there is a cash point at the co-op nearby, a walkable distance. If you're in the area, give them a try - you will not be disappointed!

Jeez what’s gone on here guys. Used to be a regular, the food standards have dropped slightly over the last few visits, but last night was the final straw. My wife ordered piri piri chicken for starters ( granted it’s not an authentic Indian dish!) but come on, a few bits of chicken in a watered down piri piri sauce you get for a pound in B&M (Ancona is the brand, is I’ve got some in the fridge!) isn’t worthy of the near £5 it cost. Sorry lads, I’ll take my custom elsewhere.

Service went at a snail’s pace, starters did not come with salad and dressing and the butter chicken is atrocious. Do not get a takeaway from here. Absolute waste of money.

Both the girlfriend and I are very ill after eating from here. And we had very different things, so I’d think it’s more due to hygiene than a bad batch of something.
