JanHarmsgat se Agterplaas is one of the main reasons we visit Cullinan ! All sorts of vintage goodies available. If you love vintage, prepare youself for at least an hour (or more!) in this shop. We also bought a lot of ginger goods (while room dedicated to ginger), as well as Cullinan wine which makes a great gift to wine lovers, or for yourself of course !

Worth the visit when in Cullinan on a day trip. But JanHarmsgat se Agterplaas offers more. Keep in mind that this is a venue that is available for events, birthdays and functions. Book your birthday, special occasions and just because you can events. The rustic themed decor is enough to blow your mind and take you to places where you won't imagine losing yourself. They will source options and possibilities around them to suit your needs. Why rush into limited choices when you have this venue to explore and use to your benefit. Go for it - You know you want to!

I think Jan's wife told him to clean up the back yard - and he did, without getting rid of anything! The "agterplaas" became a very artistic place and deserves to be bucket listed. You will even find some more buckets there.

My first visit to Cullinan was inspired by magazine features and Instagram posts I'd spotted that featured the eclectic and uniquely curated decor style of Jan Harmsgat se Agterplaas. I finally headed there like a long lost homing pigeon and absolutely loved it. I can highly recommend it and I very much look forward to staying at their quaint and intriguing guest house.

What a surprise that.was for ne. A first and i love the furniture and old stoves there. I bring back many memories from ny childhood.

Loved visiting a place with so much character! The biltong and ginger shops are also devine. Do try the droëwors and the ginger chutney
