The rustic and spiffy decor, the warm and helpful service (Noel) and the excellent food made such an impression on my guests and me. We will be back! We found about you at Masters of Taste last month. What a find!

I've been to better Dive BBQ spots, this was just a sad waste of my time and appetite. The ribs were cold and I asked the server if she can fire the up and ended giving me a 5 min speech on how they are warm and what not. No they were cold but ok.... When she finally brought them back they were chewy, not fall of the bone, and still cold in the center. The Mac and cheese is dull, the Potato salad is very salty. They ran out of Rolls, so.... Gave me 2 Hamburger buns cool. Maybe next time substitute The have a very passive aggressive attitude towards people of color. I've eaten BBQ all over the country and I can't say this enough tonight's dinner was rough, I was better of with Dickey's BBQ. I will never return.

A fun place that is popular with the locals. Highly recommend it for a unique twist on an average barbecue shack. Keep in mind parking in these neighborhoods can be very tight, and since it is a popular place it frequently has a menu items or two not available. A beer and wine bar help round out the barbecue experience. I loved their creamy slaw, and the brisket was cooked perfect.

Solid food. Attentive service. Dog friendly. Great atmosphere for any occasion. Couples or groups. They have live music on Sundays now. Go check it out

Had lunch with friends at Maple Block Meat Co. The restaurant has a laid back, cool vibe. Service was attentive and friendly. We had The Trifecta, and my daughter had Cinnamon Toast Crunch French Toast. We ended the meal with Chocolate Bread Pudding(to die for). The food was delicious, loved the bbq sauce. Portions were generous. Wheelchair accessibility was not a problem. Will definitely return soon.

Decided we wanted BBQ and had heard good things. We were able to sit outside with heaters. Food was good, but wasn’t out of this world BBQ like I had heard. The Mac and cheese was excellent! Cornbread muffins too! We ordered the chicken sandwich with a side of Mac and cheese, the ribs and some wings as well as the potatoes and broccoli. The sides were expensive for what you got. Would not order those again. Overall was good. There a not a lot of higher end BBQ restaurants around the area so if you want BBQ dine in nice restaurant, this is the one you probably should eat at. They also have boulevard beer from KC, MO available, if you want KC beer with your LA BBQ.

BBQ that would make Texas jealous! Delicious brisket!!! The burgers are very good. We polished off lunch in a few minutes despite trying to savor the flavor! 😉😂

I visited Maple Block Meat Co when it first opened years ago and I was impressed by their smoked meats and sides. Recently, I decided to give it another try for lunch during Dine LA. The restaurant has expanded its outdoor seating area, which is great for bringing my dog along, but it also means parking is harder to find in the busy intersection of Sepulveda & Washington Blvd. For the Dine LA $15 lunch menu, there were 3 options to choose from. My wife and I opted for the 1/4 rack of baby back ribs and kale salad with chicken. We also added a quarter pound of brisket. When the food arrived, the fries were completely cold. The ribs had a good flavor but the meat was a bit tough and chewy. I'd rate the ribs an 8.5 out of 10. The brisket was the highlight, very flavorful and tender, a solid 10 out of 10. The kale salad had lots of ingredients but lacked flavor and the small portion of dressing wasn't memorable. It's 8 out of 10. The service was average. The waitress was friendly, but busy with other tables. When I checked the bill, I noticed that they charged me $11 for the brisket instead of $10 as shown on the menu. I pointed out the mistake to the waitress, who said it was a system error and corrected it for me. She didn’t seem to know why the price was different on the menu and the receipt. This made me wonder if they overcharged for other items as well. Overall, I would say Maple Block Meat Co is a decent place to have lunch, but a bit pricey. The meat quality is good, but not consistent. The service is friendly, but not attentive. The bill issue was a turn-off and made me question their honesty. Parking could be a hassle during peak hours. I'd recommend Maple Block Co for the brisket!

Here is actually kind of my secret spot I go for BBQ meal when I visit to LA. Spare Ribs are tender and juicy, briskets are also tender and yummy. Last time I ordered large platter for 5-7 people. This is so nice because all meals we should order are included!

Went to the stand at the BW farmers market - half the 1/4 chicken, green and fries. The white meat was still tender and not dry at all. Fries were amazing and had the green sauce which I wish I had ordered more of.

Do not be fooled if this placed is a little empty, it is amazing. I heard great things about the brisket so I went straight to the point and got 1/2lb with a side of mac n cheese and coleslaw. After the first bite of the tenderness and flavor, I immediately called the waiter over to get another 1/2 lb. The mac n cheese was delicious as well and the smallest size can feed up to 2 people well. The coleslaw was a nice crunch to the soft meat and side. I also hate pickles but their freshness proved me otherwise.

Everything I got was delicious even though it wasn’t as fresh since I took it to go. The brisket was very well made with a tasty bark and good amount of fat in it. The ribs were a little skimpy on the meat but that’s just the way it is. Highly recommend the Mac and cheese as well as the ranch beans. Unlike any mac&cheese I’ve ever had it was so creamy and the beans had some brisket which was the best! The only thing is I wish they did individual plates.

Service was slow for having more employees than customers. Prices were on the high side for what I think is mediocre pulled pork sandwich, the bread was thick and dry, the ranch beans were unsalted and lacked flavor, the cream soda was flat and watery. I highly doubt I'll go back. It was meh.
