Awesome park and picnic area right next to the flight line. You get to see. Planes touch down which entertains your kiddos almost as much as the park will. So glad my husband told me about this one.

Awesome playground. Kids can play while watching planes take off. It gets very hot in the summer. Make sure to go early in the day and get a picnic table under a tree for shade. Bring a ton of water and snacks. Very cool for kids and their caregivers. It may be awesome in fall or spring when the temperature doesn't't get too hot and humid.

Great park. Lots to keep the kids entertained for a while, off the road, and lots of places to sit to either watch the kids from benches or picnic at tables. Infant bucket swings, normal belt swings, and adaptive swings for those with special needs. Easy to navigate the playground for 1-2 year old toddler, but still enough engaging areas for a 6+ year old. Plus my kids loved getting to watch the planes take off and land while we were there.

Several wasp nests around some of the benches. Otherwise, it’s a great playground for my son. Equipment can get overly hot so be cautious during summer months. Usually very clean and area around playground is kept up.

Every time we visit post, I stop at this park with my two young children. This is one of their favorite places to play! They especially love the opportunity to watch the planes takeoff and land at Pope AFB. I used to come to the airfield when I was little, back in the early 80s, to watch my father jump from planes as a paratrooper. It brings me nothing but joy to share a part of my youth with my two littles! β™₯️

Awesome. Great equipment for all skill levels. Accessible for our friends with special needs. Love watching the planes take off and land at the air base. Not too noisy but might be a good idea to being eat phones if your kiddo is sensitive to noise. Novel and fun. A must go. Plenty of shade and just as much sun.

Taking a course here for a few weeks and I'm slowly working myself around the base to at least remember this area. It's crazy how all this stuff is here for you to take advantage of and explore. The Flightline Park was great. I visited for the running experience. In front of the park is the flight line airport areas, and beside that is a crumb runner tire turf that takes the big bend around the airport. GPS said the turf area was .75 miles and then it turns to asphalt. I ran 3 miles, heading toward Pope Dental Clinic and back. After the run, I sat at one of the many tables that are available. There are even benches to just sit under a tree and enjoy some shade. I surprised to see people there so early with their kids, but there they were enjoying the actual activities of slides and climbers. Overall, it was great. Took a blanket to cover the seat as I was soaked. But it was worth it.

This park was an awesome break after a long day spent at the VA hospital. Fully handicapped accessible. There were swings specifically for handicapped access. Most of the playground can be used in a wheelchair. It overlooks the flighline and we got to see a bunch of planes take off while we played. Although it is very handicapped accessible it does not look like a "special" playground. To anybody not requiring the access, it would just seem large. This is one of several nice playgrounds on Fort Bragg. Because of the flight line view, this was our favorite.

We really like going to this playground! There is plenty to do including swings - bucket swings, regular and adaptive ones, many different things to climb, and slides. The playground offers plenty of sun and some shade, making it great for all year round. Love how close it is to the airfield and being able to see planes taking off and landing!

One of our absolute favorite playgrounds! Tons of playground equipment for the kids and they can watch the Army airplanes take off from the airfield beside it

A nice spot to take the kids and can be used for family gathering, barbecue etc. You can also catch planes and other aerial vehicles flying in and out of the air strip.

My son loved this park!! He didn’t want to leave and loved looking at the planes as they came in. Great place to host small get togethers and make friends with other parents!!

Kids had fun. Benches were under trees but playground had no shade. Maybe not good idea to take kids when it's really hot and sunny.
