I’m from DC and remember having a Roy Rogers as a kid. Driving from. Cali. to DC. I just had to stop and try it. The bar with the condiments is my favorite. I miss Roy Rogers so much!!!!

Visiting from out of town so I had to check out an iconic regional chain. I can confidently say this was one of the best fast food experiences I’ve had in a long time. Had the Texas Pete spicy chicken sandwich with bacon and was blown away. It was the perfect combination of juicy on the inside with a great flavor and crunch. The fries were also great. Friends had the gold rush sandwich and loved it. The service was also friendly and the dining room was very clean and inviting. So wish there were more locations so I could explore more of the menu. Well done. -BJ

Roy Rogers is one of my favorite fast food places. Today was my first time visiting this particular location and it was perfect! Very clean, friendly and fast service, very fresh items in the burger toppings bar, and plenty of seating. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Cumberland and craving a Double R Bar burger!

Marginal. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The employees were friendly. But it's a bit too expensive for fast food. The food was as expected, neither better nor worse than any other Roy Rogers I've been to. It doesn't take much for me to give a fast food place a 4- or 5-star review. I never expect too much from them. But this one was only average at best. A plain combo meal for $14. (And they got my order wrong.) If you feel like roast beef, don't let this review stop you from stopping in. Just know it's going to cost you a little more than McDonald's or Wendy's, and for a little less food.

Restaurant is clean, staff is exceptional. Food is pretty much good and consistent. A few times I found the chicken to be overcooked.

We always stop at this Roy Rogers on our way to Deep Creek Lake or Meyersdale PA. It’s always quick, hot, and good. The service is always great. It’s always clean. If we’re driving through Cumberland we always stop here. It’s become a tradition at this point.

This location is the best one I've seen since the original Roy Rogers days in the 70's/80's in the DC area. It's even cleaner and super friendly. The food... Yeah it's the good ole Double R Bar for me with the fixin Bar. Great location I recommend! Thank you excellent staff!

Food was honestly mediocre at best. I try to come here every couple years and give this place another chance but I think this third time is final. You get a plain burger that typically on the dry side that you literally have to add your own toppings to. $10/person to eat is ridiculous.

If only all fast food restaurants were this good. Great selection of food to include wonderful sides like mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Good atmosphere, clean, friendly and courteous staff.

Roy Roger's is my absolute favorite fast food chain. This Cumberland location is the best location, by far, of all the ones I've been to! Absolutely everything about our visit was top notch! Kudos to the crew and managers! You guys are the best! 💛💛💛

I visited this location in December 2021 and was very disappointed with the food and service. So I thought I would give them another chance since I was in the area. I am happy to say that I was so impressed with the food, service, and courteous staff. What a difference. This Roy’s is now on my list of places to eat when in Cumberland. 😋

I eat at this location a lot. Lunch service is always on point and amazing. Anytime after 5pm service goes down hill. I sat at the window watching the staff goof off and joke around only to hear an employee say ohh I forgot to put fry’s in the fryer. Service definitely takes a hit in the evenings.

There's a debate as to who has the best chicken, chick fil a or KFC, but both choices are wrong. Roy Roger's is the best!! Possibly tied with Popeyes.

The Local Roy's near me closed so I was glad I saw this one from the highway. The best part is the Fixins bar, every fast food place should have one.

My wife and I had our best chain fast food experience in years here last night. Fresh and well done fixins bar and fruit, very competent and polite staff. We will be back!

This place is a must stop! The burgers are great and the chicken wasn't too bad either. The baked beans were ok, they weren't the best I've ever had, but they weren't bad. They have a fireplace that really makes the restaurant feel very "homey." Wonderful, quick stop.

I’ve always liked Roy Rogers restaurants. The old days were the best with rare roast beef au ju. Now they are still good with just about everything on the menu. Special kudos for the excellent real ice cream and milkshakes. Not expensive and good value.

The food was disgusting! I had never heard of Roy Rogers but on our trip we thought we would give it a shot. We were both excited and let down very quickly! I got a burger with a cup of toppings and my lettuce was see through and slimy. My fiance got beans and a steak sub and it was gross as well. Everything tasted like it had malt vinegar added to it. Never again will I go to a Roy Rogers

I hadn’t had Roy Rogers in decades so I couldn’t wait to have it again! The burger was very good and fresh with quality meat for a fast food restaurant. The chicken was fried perfectly and tasted delicious. The boom boom sauce was also tasty. The staff were friendly, patient, and helpful! Great drive-thru experience.

It's not cheap, but the bacon cheeseburgers are really good! (You fix them how you want them.) I'll keep coming back as long as they offer specials or coupons. I don't park in the parking lot because it is too cramped for my liking. The staff is usually pretty good, although getting a friendly order taker is 50/50. I'm happy with Roy's.

Definitely not a place I would visit regularly. My cheeseburger was literally a burger/ bread/ unmelted cheese. Nothing about it tasted good. To each is own however the staff was great and facility was clean

I am thoroughly surprised with this spot. It reminded me of a place I used to go as a child called Burger Chef but this was definitely different. The burgers were great. Seasoned, beefy and hot. The condiments are given in a separate "fixin's" container, which reminded me of the Burger Chef burger bar. Well done! My wife had the fried chicken and this is where it got interesting. The chicken came with a biscuit and you choice of "Sauce". This place has every kind of sauce you can think of, for chicken, burgers or roast beef sandwiches. The goldrushh sauce was so good, I could have had a gallon of it just to carry around to just dip stuff in it. It was that good. The chicken was done well and the sauce made it all kinds of good. We loved it. Great job folks!

First time being to this place and it was amazing. The roast beef sandwich was fantastic the cheese burger was as well. Strawberry shortcake for desert made it that much better. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely recommend this place.

I dine in at this restaurant anytime I visit the area. On my most recent visit, I selected the 3 piece chicken meal. Restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. In hindsight, I should have done something differently on my chicken order. On previous visits, when I ordered the chicken meal, the chicken was made fresh to order and was nice and piping hot as a result. On this visit, they got my chicken from the warming unit so the chicken had already been prepared and was sitting in the warmer waiting on orders. It was very warm but not piping hot like I like it. Next time I visit, I will ask if my chicken can be made fresh to my order rather than from the warming tray.

The food was delicious and hot. The gold rush chicken sandwich was very good and the mushroom jack burger was good also and the mashed potatoes are always my favorite. It was my girlfriends 1st time there and she loved it. I used to eat Roy Roger's a good bit when it was at the mall when I was little

First time eating at Roy Rogers was truly amazed by the food for being fast food! It was very tasty and reasonable and speedy service. The condiments were great from what you wanted to put on your sandwiches as far as tomatoes to pickles and their sauces were stupendous! And wide variety of sauces. Would love for them to bring their restaurants to our state!
