Dine-in available when I went (07/18/21). It was tasty and clean. Simple flavors combined with the shoyu sauce is perfect. When dining-in, you order at the stand and then wait at your table. There were plenty of spots when I went dine-in for lunch and ordered the "garlic beef pepper rice" with the image below. I would highly recommend if you don't know what you'd like to order. I would definitely come back.

It's my third time trying out Sizzling Lunch near De Anza College. I have to say the food is really good and the price is reasonable. The restaurant is clean and the restroom is tidy. The waiters and waitress are very friendly and care about the customer. I enjoyed it a lot, and I'm willing to come again next time.

Second time here. The food and service is good (and I like how they put Chlorox wipes on every table). I highly recommend the beef mushroom cream pasta. The price is relatively lower than the restaurants nearby. At the entrance they asked us to order and pay first before getting seated, which is not a problem.

It's cool to have a sizzling hot plate in front of you and you get to mix and cook the stuff. BUT, chances are you are gonna overcook your beef, unless somehow you have a way of extracting/separating your meats. I think perhaps a different cut of meat may do the trick as well?🤔 Anyways, we ordered the pepper beef, steak and shrimp, gyoza, and chicken wings. The meats were overcooked despite our best effort to keep it on top of rice so they are not contacting the hot plate directly. In fact the steak were so tough that I won't recommend it at all. The gyoza and chicken wings are fine. The place was clean and the food came real fast. Friendly staff as well. Perhaps just avoid beef all together at this place.

Haven’t visited since pre-pandemic so has been a while! This is definitely the kind of restaurant that’s better in person instead of takeout. Ordered the garlic beef sizzling plate and it was delicious! Very much enjoyed the food, will return.

I liked the way that we could mix the protein and rice (noodles) by ourselves. It was really fun! The flavor was pretty good, not to mention the aroma of black peppers! You can substitute the rice with udon if you are more of a noodle person.

Very interesting experience where we had to finish cooking our food ourselves while the iron was still hot. Literally. I just wish I noticed the instructions sooner (to mix my dish while it was still hot). I was distracted with something else when my food came and didn't mix right away. It was still good, just not as fried as I prefer. Overall a pretty nice driver, we will be back.

Always pretty tasty here. My go to is the curry beef udon noodles and its always satisfying. There is even a vegan option too even though its not promoted. Its a mix of rice, vegges, and tofu.

I love the pork belly pepper rice! It's soooo good! Went with a couple friends during a promotional event so they were really packed my first time. Coming back a couple times though, they can get busy on the weekends. Weekdays are usually pretty chill. Staff are friendly and helpful if you have questions. You order food on an iPad at the table after you get seated. They bring you your food and give you instructions on what to do and make sure you're not consuming raw foods! they give a pitcher of water at the table as well. The location is always clean. There's also plenty of parking.

First time here. We had a salmon, pork belly, Kim Chi, and a pork option. Easy to order on their tablet and even had a quick video on what to expect and how to prepare your own food. I was a bit disappointed with how small the dessert was, but it was good.

unique eating experience where everything served on single served sizzling plates. the food was pretty good but not something i’d rush back too. service was prompt. atmosphere felt sterile though - they should switch out lighting for warmer light bulbs. felt like a hospital. beef sizzling plate (spicy): dish was bland on its own but adding the sauces helped. corn cheese: standard dish, you know what you’re getting.

we stopped here for lunch on the way to san jose. this is my first time trying teppanyaki so i was super excited! everything on the menu looked absolutely delicious--it was hard to pick just one entree. you get to order your meal on the tablet attached to the table which i really liked. i started with a corn cheese because who doesn't like corn cheese?! the portion was ENORMOUS. for my meal i ordered the beef udon. it was absolutely subperb. service was quick; my food came out very fast and very hot! i would definitely go here again especially knowing that there are lots of locations all over.

This is the best restaurant ever! The food is always amazing! The service is beyond incredible! They are always looking to help you and to make sure they can provide everything you need and that everything is up to your standards! I would 100% recommend you to come check this place out!

The staff took the time to explain how the food was served and prepared, as it cooks at your table, hence the "Sizzling" in the name. Flavors are good, and various sauces to add to the dish are available on the tables. Decor is a bit sparse, but definitely NOT like eating in a warehouse like some similar establishments. Overall enjoyed.

Consistent food quality. Good just not amazing. It would be good choice if you like beef rice. Stuff are friendly

The service was really good, staff is very nice. Food came really quick, and was delicious. Minor gripe is it could have came with more meat. The amount of meat in the picture was double what actually came on the plate. Other than that, everything was good and tasty. Also, an extra $1.50 for a few slices of onion is kinda stingy.

I had kimchi pepper rice and chicken pepper rice. Chicken pepper rice was okay, and little blend for me. So I had to add curry sauce as a side. Kimchi pepper rice was good. Generally the price felt little expensive given the food quality, because their pepper rice are basically rice with corn, garlic butter and choice of meat. I had to cook the rice ourselves.

Overall it tastes good, recommend garlic black pepper beef and curry pork kastu. You can also mix any sauce you want. It's just the service is pretty slow, you need to wait for more than 20mins in the lunchtime even on a weekday.

This place is fantastic. The atmosphere is chill, the food is priced great. You pay at the front and you just enjoy the rest of your meal. The whole experience is fun and you can share if you want 😜 not to mention everything I've had tastes amazing. I recommend the cheesy fries and the garlic beef sizzling plate. Oh! Make sure you add that fried egg. I recommend going on a week day night when its relatively low traffic. And bring an empty tummy because you will be full! They are also very conscious of the pandemic so you are decently seated away from folks, hand sanitizer is at every table and disinfectant wipes.

The food was satisfying; however, over priced for what was offered. There was limited outdoor seating available and slow staff service. While I would probably come back, I would not recommend this as a normal go to for lunch. Our check was a little over $25 pp without drinks including an entree and two shared appetizers.

Enjoyed a meal myself here on a weekday night and it wasn't too busy. Got the classic Garlic Beef Pepper Rice and it is delicious esp after I add teriyaki sauce. Service was fast and interior is bright and clean. Parking can get busy during peak hours.

👍👍 Very special dining experience here. We have multiple hot pot places in Bay Area. But from Haidilao, you will feel difference. Their service is super good if you pay attention to these details on the services you got. If you order the noddle, you will enjoy the show of making noddle when dancing in...
