My son has been taking virtual Taekwondo training with the SN academy for the past year. He enjoys attending the classes every time and has showed improvement both mentally and physically. The academy has amazing masters who are patient and pays attention to every kid in the class even though the classes are virtual. They know the names of all the students in a batch. During this pandemic, when life came to a stand still, we all were stuck at home, i was looking for a sport for my child which can help her to attain fitness and self defense both at the same time. Then i came across an ad in Facebook regarding SN Taekwondo and I decided to enroll my child for the online classes. Since ,then there is no looking back. Though, it is online and everyone around me was skeptical about how the child will learn a sport that too online. But to my utter surprise, things have been changed since then. Taekwondo has brought patience, dedication , determination in my child . Now she is yellow belt holder. And all this was only possible because of the teacher , Mrs Sudipta Nanda, she is not only an amazing person but also very helpful and friendly by nature. As classes are both interactive and practical it helps the child engage and involve with the teacher and the child learns a lot. When people think of martial arts, they think of fighting and self-defense, and you are learning self-defense, but I think it's really about learning responsibility, respect, discipline, and most importantly how to control yourself. My sister joined Tae Kwon do classes recently and it helped her build an emotional balance. Martial arts has also helped with her focus and her ability to handle frustrating situations. Martial Arts is great for shaping life values and behaviours such as focus, tolerance, fairness, humbleness, and discipline. I believe Developing these skills through Martial Arts in a safe environment like SN Taekwondo Academy will be a major benefit for students of all ages.
