The Cuttack Chandi temple is one of the most popular temple in Cuttack. Many individuals believe that this temple has powerful powers due to which the tourists came to visit this place from every corner of India. As already stated by many people's that Odisha is one of the important place for rituals which was a belief for which it can't be changed. It's the most beautiful temple due to which the visiting hours of the Cuttack Chandi temple is open for 12 hours. It's my suggestion that everyone must visit this place those who believe in god as because the wishes came to become true which is said by many individuals.

It is a small but very famous temple of Orissa. The deity is very powerful. The temple is on a narrow main street of city. It is always crowded. People light thick ghee lamps and offer coconut, sari, shringar items etc

Jai Mataji! It is a small beautiful temple in this vicinity!! It is shows us the tradition and culture of this place. The parking is available only on the streets. The shoe stall is outside the temple. On Fridays it will be crowded to visit this temple. This temple is very popular among the local people of this region.

JAI MAA CUTTACK CHANDI...This place has divinity in every bit of it...🙏🙏🙏 dedicated to the Goddess Chandi, the presiding deity of Cuttack, Odisha, India. The temple is located nearby the banks of the Mahanadi River. It is famous for the annual Durga Puja and Kali Puja festivals. The Durga Puja festivities are prominent in Maa Katak Chandi temple which takes place for 16 days starting from dark fortnight of Ashwina Krishna Ashtami till Ashwina shukla navami and Vijayadashami. The goddess popularly called as Maa Kataka Chandi, sits and rules on the heart of the ancient city. She has four hands holding Paasha (noose), Ankusha (goad), gestures dispelling fear (Abhaya), and granting boon (Varada). She is worshiped as Bhuvaneshvari Mahavidya (the queen of universe) by Sevayatas belonging to Utkala Brahmins every day. Maa Chandi is worshipped in various incarnations of Durga during the puja. In Cuttack, people strongly believe Maa Katak Chandi as 'The Living Goddess'. N.B. If you want to have a genuine Vehicle (gaadi) Puja...This is the numero uno place...🙏🙏🙏 N.B. If you are a local or stay nearby...Can take diyas...flowers...prasad or similar stuff... better to avoid the local vendors inside the temple...😊😊😊 Overall Verdict:- 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

In this busy twin city no one stops if there is no traffic post but speed of every vehicles and foot of every pedestrian slows down automatically. Some times it also stops to take a glance of MAA KATAKA CHANDI. Here is no proper parking system that might bother you. But you can see the deity from medieval age.

The Chandi temple is one of the reasons for many tourists flocking to Cuttack. The temple is a very holy place and whoever visits Cuttack mist visit this temple. The deity is believed to have lot of powers and also listens to the prayers of the people. Many people worship Maa chandi and visit this place. To mark this place a millenium gate has been built to mark the Chandi temple which stands out from whole of the place. When the gate is lit it looks beautiful at night. I hope in future the parking is taken care of to make the temple less crowded on the days of puja.

Dedicated to the goddess Chandi, an incarnation of Goddess Durga, this temple holds immense religious and cultural significance in the region. **History:** The history of the Cuttack Chandi Temple dates back several centuries. One of the important religious place of Cuttack. Happy to see the renovation work going on here...which is much needed. Want to see a proper sanctum to be maintained inside the temple during Puja days.

The arati timing of this temple is 6:30 PM. The shoe stand price is 5/- per footwear. The mandira bhog is 100/- and one deep is 20/-. The holy place is a bit pricey so better take your own puja essentials from home. The vibe is very positive and powerful here so make sure you have cleansed your brain before entering the temple or else you'll not be able to understand the feel I'm talking about. Remember to leave space in front of the lion to see maa during the arati. That's what you need to know for visiting the temple.

When I visited 2 weeks back the temple was closed. However you could offer flower and Prasad to the goddess through a window located on the left side of the temple. The temple is located on the roadside and there is a possibility that you could cross the temple without noticing. As the sign board is given 100mts ahead of the temple. Barabati stadium is very close to the temple. Also High court is few KMs away.
