The river view from this place is just nice. At the time of Sunrise and Sunset is very much nice.

Morning time is good for a visit, less crowded and polluted

During rains, the river and its branches carry great volume of water in them and at the time of high floods they overflow their banks. To safeguard people from the ravages of flood, embankments have been erected on their banks where necessary. Around Naraj Bridge, which is approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) from Cuttack city there are the following villages: Naraja Marthapur (Local Railway Station), Godi Sahi, Sandhapur, Bidyadharapur, Nua Sahi and Ratagarh. All these villages are rich in ancient heritage. The people of these villages cultivate paddy and vegetables. Some of the villages by the side of the Kathajodi River: Raghunathpur, Matagajapur, Mahura, etc. The famous Hansanath Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is situated near Kathajodi River near Paramahansa famous for Jagar Yatra during Maha Shivaratri.

This place is like small but beautiful !!! Here you can enjoy the view of sunset and sunrise...you can walk in morning or evening...you can go with your friends and have some good times!! For kids there are many play tools also...Some gym stuffs also for workout..! So in overall it is a good place 🙂

This is Kathajodi river ring road connecting to Naraj barrage. In the morning and afternoon one can enjoy river and nature. This is a great place to come from busy environment of silver City Cuttack. The municipal corporation should place concrete or fibre chairs along the edge for site viewing.

A small but maintained park just beside the Mahanadi River side, good for joggers. Early morning and evening it gives a nice vibes. One can see lot of people playing near to this park, it has open gym (basic amenities) for the people who love to go to gym.
