Extremely nice! I came in one night after having a few beers 😆 the owner helped me to my room and didn’t wake me up for checkout until 3 pm. Every time I’m in cypress I stay at Empire Inn!

Young people trafficking & playing seriously loud music! A car pulled up with someone singing and SCREAMING(literally!!!) With all the windows down playing loud music in the parking lot,, pulled up and drove off!!! People watching you and every move you make ! i didn't know it was a hourly. establishment which explains a lot.!! No security locks on the doors, I was there two hours never even sat on the bed. I switched rooms for security reasons & still felt very unsafe.Owner said no refunds stay at your own risk, be very careful where you choose to lay your head & spend your money SERIOUSLY! And don't sleep be on high alert at All Times!!!

The rooms look very good on the inside, however the bathroom was filthy. A shampoo container was half empty, there was a bug in the toilet, and the bathroom walls had streaks of some type of liquid dripping down that had dried. The floors behind the bathroom door had a pile or dirt, dust, and black water that had dried up. This may seem petty, but in my opinion, the bathroom should be the cleanest part of a room besides the actual bed. My partner and i wore slippers the entire rime and put a towel down on the bathroom floor out of necessity, not just comfort. I would give 1 star but i gave 2 because the photos are exactly what the rooms look like and I've stayed at places with deceptive pictures. If the cleanliness was acceptable this would have easily been 5 stars.

The manager of this place is horrible and shows no compassion. Stopped here after falling asleep on the way to a friend's place during the middle of the night. The manager charged us for a full stay. When asked him if I could have a late check-out at 1 instead of noon. He promptly replied that he would charge for an additional day. Like wow!! The rooms are average to say the least and ever other hotel in the area offers late check-out of around 1pm. Not to mention are about 10-20 dollars cheaper than this place. This facility has lost a customer. I'll not be returning here. His competition super 8 offer's a vastly better service and rooms that are more modern along with cheaper rates. Good bye Guest House!!!

Outstanding surprise! just north west of Houston off Hwy 290. 10 foot ceilings, 12 feet wide! Hot water, nice tub, clean big king bed. Iron, hairdryer, nice TV with good cable channels. Clean and roomy. Very impressive! My Sunday night king price: $79 all in. Empire Inn.

We discovered roaches in our room when returning in the middle of the night. There were roaches in the drawers and the refrigerator. We were offered another room, but it has the same problem. The man at the hotel stated it was too hot to do anything about the issue and that he would provide us with a refund. We decided to switch hotels in the middle of the night and learned a few days later the hotel only refunded 50 percent of our money. The "person in charge" has yet to return my call or respond to my email. The experience was simply disappointing.

It's quiet, and tucked back in an area that's normally busy. Close to food stores gas stations or whatever you might need. Easy access to freeways and highways. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Also has laundering area.

I would like to say first of all the location and price is great, however the staff or one elderly man who works in the front is extremely rude. On 2 occasions I had a very bad experience here. I would not recommend to anyone to stay at this place.

Good location and price makes up for the less than perfect room. Friendly front desk staff. Only 36 rooms so book ahead.

The place was clean and conveniently located. I suggest having a coffee pot in the room.

Very clean and very roomy rooms with a separate lounge area with coffee table. Coin-op laundry machines. Rooms and laundry accessible with card keys. Very convenient, located 2 block from HCA hospital, next door to a nail place.. pedicure, manicure and waxing available. All the ladies were great. Bed was awesome, mattress was virtually motionless, so you wouldn't wake your companion getting up middle of night for bathroom, drink or snack. Booking.com gives a 10% discount. Staff was very nice, family run operation. Located at 290, 2 blocks west on Huffmeister. Retail corridor down Highway 6 about 5min away. We really enjoyed the fact there was no blatant criminal activity we had to endure. All in all a great experience.

I was looking for a room for the night and on a tight budget. I found this motel has AAA approval, so I decided to rent a room. I was pleasantly surprised staying here. Really surprised. For the price I wasn't expecting much, maybe 2 star, but I was wrong. The room I was assigned was clean, updated, comfortable & quiet. The bed wasn't Comfort Inn quality but it was comfortable enough (on the firm side) & the pillows were soft. The nightstands each had extension cords, multi plugs & USB ports, in case you have multiple products to charge. The bathroom had been recently updated. I really liked the rainfall showerhead & loved the oversized towels. Usually you get Motel 6 quality towels at this price point. They offer Neutrogena products for shampoo, conditioner & lotion. There's a travel sized hairdryer that also had a built-in nightlight. Not everything was great though. The floor definitely could've been swept; it's tile/laminate instead of carpeting. There was only 1 hanger. An iron but, oddly, NO ironing board. No tissues were in my room either. A plastic laundry bag would've been nice for dirty clothes. But for the price it was absolutely a step up from a Motel 6 or Super 8. I'd recommend staying. I posted many pics if you check photos.
