My
husband
had
brought
our
very
ill
6
year
in
for
a
1045
appointment
Saturday
Nov
4th.
Right
away
he
was
questioned
about
a
past
due
bill.
Understandable.
But
in
our
history
of
going
to
carbon
health
it
has
always
been
covered
by
our
insurance.
He
explained
he
would
resubmit
the
claim
to
our
insurance
and
even
the
woman
at
the
front
desk
remarked
on
how
it
was
strange
because
all
of
our
visits
were
always
covered
by
insurance.
She
kept
asking
if
there
was
a
change
in
our
insurance
and
he
explained
he’s
been
at
the
same
job
with
the
same
insurance
for
years.
So
this
is
where
it
gets
bad.
She
attempts
to
verify
insurance
(on
a
Saturday
when
they’re
closed)
and
in
doing
so
let’s
patient
after
patient
ahead
of
my
husband
and
two
daughters.
An
hour
goes
by
(with
an
appointment)
and
my
family
is
finally
let
back
to
be
seen.
After
this
they
are
treated
like
second
class
citizens.
My
daughter
has
a
103
degree
fever,
but
nothing
about
her
“sticks
out”
to
Dr
Dina.
Doesn’t
find
the
fever
odd.
She
seems
unconcerned
with
the
appearance
of
my
6
year
old
who’s
pale
in
the
face
and
obviously
having
a
hard
time.
She
says
maybe
come
back
for
a
chest
x
ray
but
we
don’t
have
them
today.(?)
Tells
my
family
to
go
home.
My
husband
was
rushed
out
of
the
room,
where
he
is
asking
her
questions
she’s
inching
out
the
door.
She
was
short
and
rude.
Went
down
the
street
to
Urgent
Care
Pros
on
Ball
road.
Guess
what?
She’s
got
a
terrible
respiratory
infection.
She’s
asthmatic
so
this
is
serious.
Her
oxygen
was
low
and
there
was
terrible
wheezing
in
her
chest.
So
even
if
they
had
no
x
rays
on
Saturday’s,
both
of
these
are
vitals
that
could
have
been
caught
within
the
first
5
minutes
of
her
appointment
(along
with
the
103
fever)
if
Dr
Dina
hadn’t
been
rushing
her
out.
It’s
cruel
to
make
a
family
drive
a
sick
child
to
multiple
locations
because
you
don’t
have
the
time
to
provide
any
care.
I
can’t
help
but
feel
as
if
we
were
treated
differently
because
of
the
bill?
But
also
my
and
and
daughter
are
minorities
and
seeing
carbon
health
yelps
and
reviews
it
seems
there’s
quite
a
few
minorities
complaining
about
lack
of
care.
I’m
a
mother
with
a
child
in
school
in
this
city,
we
go
to
church
in
this
city
and
we’re
both
active
members
of
our
community,
and
I
amgoing
to
tell
everyone
about
the
lack
of
care
we
received
at
carbon
health
on
Saturday
and
send
them
straight
to
Urgent
care
Pros
up
the
street
instead
