Dined here for the first time today Monday at 2:50 pm. There was nobody at the hostess stand but three cashiers standing around talking to each other. We waited 5 minutes for an employee to greet us even though there were several cashiers and waiters who made eye contact with us. Once sat we placed our order right away. The waiter was decent. Requested blueberry pancakes as one of the orders with Grandmas Sampler platter. Someone messed that up and served us regular pancakes. The waitress estimated it would would only take 3 minutes to get the correct pancakes to us. It took at least 10. The blueberry version was good and hot when they finally did arrive. We asked for our bacon and sausage to be fried hard and they got that perfect. The scrambled eggs were runny and disgusting.

My wife and kids took me here for an early Father's Day dinner since they know Cracker Barrel is one of my favorite American food restaurants. Restaurant was nice and clean. The only thing was the floor in the shop/checkout area was very sticky for some reason but other than that everything was nice. Our service however was not very good at all. Every other table next to us got biscuits as an appetizer upon being seated, we did not get any at all until our food came (and they were part of the meal). Our waitress was "Rosemary" who seemed like she didn't want to be there at all. Her service was very slow and even rude at times. She was also not very tech savvy and you could tell she did not know how to use the electronic menu pad to take the order. The other odd thing was my wife wanted to try the country fried pork chops (which according to their website is available on Saturday's only, which we were there on a Saturday), Rosemary had no idea what we were talking about. Instead of asking someone, she basically said "yeah don't believe what the website says". I had to get up twice and go to the kitchen window for things like syrup because Rosemary was never coming to our table to check on us. I thought the food was very good and very reasonable priced. I will go back, but I would definitely ask for a different waitress than Rosemary.

Shay, our server, was very attentive. And got our order just right. The server who brought our food out was also great! Our food was cooked perfectly, and everything tasted great. Our only issue was our table had crumbs left on it and it took awhile to get our order in. Not a big big deal, just explaining our experience. Check out was easy, and all the staff was on point and courteous.

My bf shows me this place and it was nice experience with some traditional American food. We ordered kids meal cheese sandwiches, fried chicken tender, roasted beef and fried steak, my kids loved it. Plus the stuff were nice 👍

** Don’t buy your Thanksgiving meals from here!** I literally had the worst restaurant experience ever at Cracker Barrel last night. I was trying to order online because I had somebody to pick it up for me. I had a gift card but it doesn’t give you the option to use your gift card when you order online every time I called to ask them about that they would put me on hold, and nobody would answer. So finally, I decided I would call and place my order. I called and they transferred me to curbside, but nobody answered. I called again, and they said they would transfer me to a person to take it to go order again, the phone just rang and rang. I asked to talk to a manager a couple times and the same thing happened. I’m a single mom, I’m trying to get everything together because I was going in for testing the following morning for a kidney transplant. I wasn’t supposed to eat after eight. Since I already wasted almost 2 hours, trying to get my order placed, I drove down there. I was been told I had to wait for somebody to come take my order and after standing there for 15 minutes, I asked for a manager. She came out and took my order. 45 minutes later, I received my food, but they told me that they were out of a few things. I had kids in the car, after waiting another 10 to 15 minutes I just decided to leave. They never brought the drinks. I started trying to order this food at 5:45 and we left Cracker Barrel at 8 PM. They told me that it was because the manager is doing the meals for Thanksgiving. I have three different orders that range from $150-$500. (I’m definitely canceling all three of my Thanksgiving meal orders. Considering the fact it’s gonna be a week old and judging by the quality of the food last night I’m not spending that much money on a Thanksgiving meal.) When I got home, I realized the desserts were missing, and a few of the sides were missing. The country fried steak didn’t have gravy. It was cold as a rock. Not to mention, some of my sides were still in pre-prepped bags, and not even warm, cold, as if they just came out of the refrigerator. One of the side items that I had to pay extra for because they were out Of what I ordered, the loaded sweet potato, the toppings were all on the outside of it, and stuck on the outside. I tried calling the store and asking for a manager. I was on hold for 12 minutes and then got hung up on. I called back twice and sat on hold again for another 10 minutes each time. The two guys at the register were very polite and very helpful besides that everyone else wasn’t even trying. It wasn’t even busy inside. So I don’t know what everybody was doing. The managers name was Saima Khan. After all the problems I was asking her if I could just cash out my gift card because I did not want to spend any more money there. I spent almost $100 last night to get treated like that and be missing almost $30 of my order? Probably one of the worst customer Service experiences ever! I worked for Cracker Barrel years ago, and this is totally opposite from the store I worked at. None of these people would be employed at the store I was at.

First and foremost the biscuits are so soft! Absolutely love them with strawberry jam or with gravy it's absolutely amazing. I got the grandfather chicken fried steak and it exceeded my expectation, most places make their chicken fried steak dry but here it is cooked perfectly tender. Their pancakes are fluffy and crunchy on the ends. Their bacon is cooked perfectly crisp. Eggs were made perfect. The server as well was really kind and generous and provided excellent service. I'll definitely be back, had a great experience.

Stop and ate what use to be my favorite late evening spot. The hostess had awful customer service not friendly at all and upset when I asked for a table by the window took me back by the hostess stand while we waited for one table to be cleaned ok no big deal then my waitress was Rosemary very pleasant my husband and I ordered each chicken and dumplings with 2 side orders the waiting time was longer then normal but hey as long as my food is hot but NOPE everything was either lukewarm or cold. Rosemary did offer to heat it up but it was pass7 pm getting late so I declined. I was more than disappointed you can tell that management is needed to prevent this from happening. You get your money why can’t I get good customer service and a HOT meal !

We arrived around 8:50 a.m and were seated promptly. We were given a few minutes to order our food. After about 10 minutes passed we placed our order. After about another 5 min we were told there was a big party and the food would be at least 30 min but they will bring us biscuits. We explained we had a flight to catch and couldn’t wait as we knew 30 min could possibly run over. We were told they would talk to a manager. After about 5 min a manager walked over and explained the situation. My wife asked for whatever we could get quick (biscuits already offered). The biscuits arrived shortly after and shortly after our bill for two drinks and biscuits. The large party was there prior to us being seated, the staff could have mentioned the kitchen was behind at that point. They could have mentioned it after we ordered drinks, another opportunity could have been after our drinks arrived our even after we placed our order. I feel our time was wasted we were at the restaurant 40 min to only receive biscuits. The same gentleman who sat us was our waiter and was the same to notify us. The weird part is the party behind us sat down about the same time and as we got the biscuits they were told there food was in the way out. This was a complete waste of a morning and $11.55. Needless to say I doubt we will ever be back. I understand the backlog in the kitchen but communicating the issue up front would have been great as we could have went elsewhere to buy breakfast. Instead our time was wasted!

First time eating at this location. I normally go to the one on 45N @ Richey Road. The food wasn't all that. Okra was under cooked. The rest of my food was decent.

Always love coming here. Service with a smile. They check on you but don't bother you. Food is always hot and delicious and the decor is so homey. Kids menue options. Plenty of parking. Can't go wrong!

So apparently I'm a genius but I didn't know better than to come here🤣. I'm not sure what's going on with the barrel 🤔 This was a horrible experience from the service to the food. I would not recommend this location.

It had been a really long time since I had cracker barrel, so I was really l looking forward to it... and the fact I didn't have lunch! I called in my order, run to pick it up, then head home as fast as I can to eat it. I ended up having to eat my entire meal with my hands, because I just moved and haven't unpacked my utensils. Besides that the chef must have been in a rush because I ordered scrambled eggs, and got fried eggs. I got gravy and no biscuits. Smh this can't be serious!

The atmosphere was pretty cool, lots of old timer candy and goodies in the front country store. Once we were seated and ordered it took a little bit to get our food, luckily we had a few appetizer. We got the Baggett and tatertots (there were awesome, filled with cheese and bacon bits, definitely be getting these again) we had the steak and egg skillet thing, it was okay and the biscuit and gravy. The biscuits were great. We ran completely out of drinks a few times and was brought a wrong drink. Lol. But no worries, it washed everything down. Over all decent place and well mostly be back.

***Food was good as Always*** We really enjoyed our food specially because it had been 2 years since we had Cracker Barrel. Service was a little bit slow, but overall and enjoyable experience

The food that delicioso. I must say I was disappointed with the portion but was good. Atmosphere was good very busy but it was a Sunday after church hours I visit. The one thing that I really feel they should improve is services, the waiter was not attentive we would have to ask for refills and ask another waiter for straws and creamers. The reason we were disappointed because when we gave our order we told the waiter we will be placing an order to go, and I ask if you want to place it now or when food arrive. We finished eating I ask the waiter 3 times he didn't took the order. At the end I ask a waitress to give me a box to go. Got my tickets pay and left. In this area they need improvement.

Hands down this was the most disorganized Cracker Barrel restaurants I have ever been to. This honestly was my first visit here and the first time I did not have breakfast. It started with two people not knowing to to seat people. They simply could not communicate with one another properly and both were confused. As we were being seat, waiters cut us off 3 different times and 2 waiters bumped into each other. We ordered the fried chicken which was extremely lack luster. This was shake n bake without a doubt. If you enjoy shake n bake, you will like the chicken. My salad never arrived even after two people said it was coming. The waiter did bring the manager over to explain how they took it off the bill which was interesting. The side dishes were flavorless. I honestly have never had flavorless corn. How does that even happening? We were told the bread , cornbread and biscuits would be out. Sadly we only got the left over biscuits from breakfast. They were hard and not the normal flacky I am accustomed to at this restaurant chain. Silverware had to be requested as did refills. I noticed this at several tables. One man got up and actually walked into the kitchen for silverware. I sat there watching only one person try and clean tables, waiters squeezing between each other and often running into one another and the staff sit a very pregnant woman in a very tight spot, she later moved. In summary, the food is flavorless, the services needs help and the organizational skills are a mess here. We will not be going back.

This is my first visit ever in Texas. Cracker Barrel was on of the places I dined in. For one, it is spacious and cleaned. Did not wait long to be seated. The waiter was very courteous. The food was nicely presented and delicious. What I really liked about it is the gift shop. As a visitor, I was able to buy few gifts. I most certainly recommend Cracker Barrel restaurant for your next meal 😋

Love this Cracker Barrel location. The only downside is that it can take up to a 45 minute wait to get a table. The breakfast menu is to die for. I used to order the Sunrise Sampler, but they don't offer this anymore. The closest I can order a breakfast plate similar to the Sunrise Sampler is the Build Your Own Breakfast. I order over easy eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 1 pork sausage, 1 slice of sugar cured ham and I order the Hash Brown casserole & fried apples as an a la carte. The meal also comes with fresh biscuits and I ask for apple butter. They have revised their menu. They now serve a limited alcohol selection such as Jack Daniels. They also serve biscuit beignets.

Went to have dinner but ended up choosing breakfast instead by having the new stuffed cheesecake pancakes. They could be considered a dessert too! The scrambled eggs that I got with them were ok (not a fan) but the pancakes…delicious! It was enough for two people. Josh who was our server was very attentive and I would request his table again. Way to go! We’ll be back! Of course, it’s always fun to browse the country store too!
