What a great “soft opening”! +Staff very attentive, polite and professional, without being overbearing. +Building looks outstanding, inside and out! Very contemporary, and well designed. +Food - Found very few (if any) flaws with the various amount of things I sampled. Everything from the main dinner plates with sides, to the wide assortment of famous pies was incredible. If this pre-opening is any sign of the days to come, this location is going to be a great asset to Cypress and the surrounding areas! Can’t wait to return.

Service was bad! Both our waitress, and the front cashier were not friendly and seemed like they didn’t want to be there. Not sure if it was just a bad day for them or Maybe the need better training. The food was fine. The sides of fruit are canned fruits, not fresh. The grapefruit juice was the only thing I enjoyed! Hope they work on improving their costumer service.

Breakfast is served all day, so I opted for eggs and toast with iced tea. Everything was prepared perfectly. My server was a beautiful person, so very kind and attentive, even though she had quite a few tables to take care of. I ordered a few different kinds of slices of pie to go, which is always a big hit for those who receive them, so grab a few slices to take to your loved ones. Not only will you make their day, it'll likely make yours as well. So go be a blessing to others while enjoying a delicious slice of pie for yourself!

The line was long but went pretty fast. The fajitas and eggs were very hearty and filling. The Coconut Cream pie is pretty much to die for. The staff are all extremely friendly and patient. I have nothing but positive things to say. I believe this location has become one of my neighborhood favorites.

Breakfast at the newest House of Pies! So glad I got to check this place out. We stopped for breakfast and I ordered the Acapulco Eggs. It's scrambled eggs and sausage topped with cheese. You can get tortillas as the bread and a side, which I chose the hash browns. The eggs were good and flavorful. The tortillas are flour and pretty thick. They give you 4 tortillas, which is more than enough. My wife got the pork chops and eggs. She ordered her eggs Sunnyside up. The porkchops are breaded and fried. The pork chop was succulent and delicious. The staff was friendly and courteous. They were a packed house when we were there. The staff was very responsive and our food was brought to our tables in a great time. We also decided to check out the a slice of their Banana Pudding Cake, which is amazing! It's a cake that should be at every Holiday dinner. Made with banana pudding in the cake, and iced with a coconut icing, it is so deliciously sweet, it became an instant favorite!

This was the first time coming to House of Pies. We waited about 15 minutes to be seated. There were people waiting to be seated when we arrived. Our server, Elizabeth, was very courteous and helpful when ordering. She brought us water to begin with and then proceeded to ask what we wanted to drink. I ordered fresh orange juice. We also ordered a cup of coffee, and a Dr. Pepper. After she brought our drinks, we decided to order. I ordered the Acapulco egg omelet. It has taco meat, onions, mushrooms, peppers, chives, cheddar and jack cheese. Served with your choice of fruit, potatoes, or any side, and bread. We also ordered the Huevos Rancheros. Flour tortilla served with scrambled eggs, picante, cheddar and jack cheese, with frijoles, and extra flour tortillas on the side. My brother ordered Chicken fried steak. Deep cutlet deep fried and topped with country gravy. It is served with your choice of soup or salad, vegetable and one fruit, potato, or side dish. He also ordered a couple of biscuits to go with his gravy. Lastly, we ordered a Belgian waffle and a Texas Pecan pie. Overall, the food was fresh and delicious. May I suggest that the biscuits be covered with a napkin in a basket, that way they will keep warm. Also, I observed the servers were very busy and I wasn't able to stop any at the time to ask for napkins. Maybe having a napkin holder at each table will benefit their service. I also want to mention, that when I ordered my waffle, I didn't have any syrup at the table. Having these items available at the tables will really benefit the servers, especially when it's really busy. The Pie was Phenomenal!! We loved it!! Baked to perfection!! I just want to say thank you for the great service and keep it up! We will definitely be back to try other delicious items on the menu!💯💯💯💯

I visited because I heard that the pie was delicious a lot. They sell salad and other food, so I tried it. The salad was so delicious maybe because the shrimp was grilled. wait for food I ordered cheese sticks and both the sauce and cheese sticks were so delicious. I also ate New York strawberry cheesecake as a slice and bought it as a whole cake because it was delicious.

Honestly, not a bad experience overall. The pies were fantastic, the service was fairly quick (especially considering how many people were there to eat). But I will echo what some of the other reviews have mentioned; our experience with the staff was fairly flat and not super inviting. It did seem like everyone working there was having a stressful night and it definitely affected the experience. Though, that might say more about the owners and managers than it does about the average employee. Overall, I’d definitely come back. The food is easily worth it!

My wife had heard of House of Pies previously, we were in the area with some time to kill so we stopped. I love a pancake breakfast at a dinner and couldn’t resist! It was good and the portions were sufficient. My wife had the Monte Cristo sandwich with sweet potato fries and she loved it. She was bummed though that the raspberry jam was unavailable. Not sure why it was unavailable either. They didn’t say. We got a slice of coconut cream pie - INCREDIBLE! And a slice of lemon ice box. It was okay, I’d eat it again, but the coconut cream was way better. Service was alright, nothing incredible, but we were taken care of. I’d eat here again, I think my kids would enjoy it. We talked about getting pies from her for Thanksgiving!

Sad to say that my party of 5 was treated extremely poorly with the waitress being rude from the moment we were seated. We never received our drink order and the deserts we ordered were out for at least ten minutes before the waitress asked if we were ready for the check. I informed her we never received our coffee and waters and she didn't offer to get them. It was not a busy moment in the restaurant so there is no excuse. We got the impression that she was upset because we only ordered Dessert and therefore would not be a high yielding table in her eyes. It felt like we were being rushed out the door as we were talking up one of the few round booths that seat more than four. The German chocolate cake was ice cold and you could barely get a fork in it as it was that hard. The top layer of cake icing fell off like a piece of concrete on the plate. I informed the waitress that the German chocolate cake did not taste good and seemed to be cold and old and asked her to please take it back to the kitchen as I did not want to pay for it. I witnessed her handing the plate to her manager and their shared body language as he reluctantly took the plate out of her hand said it all. They both rolled their eyes and he never stepped to the table to speak to us although he removed the freezer burnt cake from the ticket. Disgusting service from the two mentioned and horrible food from an establishment that knows better. I cannot speak for the rest of the staff as they seemed to be on top of things, but the clear apathy from the Manager and the waitress was unacceptable. Save your money and please do not waste your time on the Cypress location. At least, not at night when the capable management team is off work.

Fish and chips were amazing (and im British). I loved the coffee and the chicken soup was tasty. Banana cream pie was amazing, as was the chocolate cream pie. Egg custard pie was tasty and so was the pecan pie. Everything overall great and fast food delivery, good service. Amazing place and reasonable prices.

Excellent diner for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I regularly get the Ribeye Steak and Eggs, which is an outstanding item at a good price. Attentive waitstaff despite hiring shortages, very clean and well kept venue. Highly recommended, although it can be very busy at times. I find it less crowded when it's rainy.

Very small House of Pies location with tiny tables and hardly enough room for drinks with a complete table of plates. There may be a wait every time we come due to the limited number of tables, we waited 15 minutes for a table which isn't bad. Hopefully they will had on an outdoor patio with seating. Woodlands location is the beggest we have been to, and we have never had to wait. Service was GREAT. Waitress was always checking in with us, and continued to refill drinks. Bayou Goo Pie was delicious, and will get again the next time we come.

First of all I love their ceiling lights, so beautiful. Their food are tasted amazing, we spent $70 for 5 people, that’s cost around $12-15 per person, not bad at all. Love this place so much.

Sadly I was disappointed with my families visit to House Of Pies. My wife had previous good experiences this was my first go round, the restaurant wasn't cleanly. We were seated at a table that had been "cleaned", but still had food on the seats. Not to mention the high chair they brought for our daughter had leftover food on it. Our service was mediocre and the food was not impressive at all. I had the chicken fried chicken sandwich and my wife had the juevos ranchero both with hash browns for the side, we were not impressed at all. My sandwich was dry and the hash browns had an after taste of a cardboard box. Half a plate of hash browns were left as trash and we always clean our plates. It was so unenjoyable we decided no to dessert and she's a sugar head. All in all we will not be back, hope you have a better experience.

My wife and myself are visiting this restaurant having never eaten here before. Overall the experiences are pretty good. The white Christmas was very friendly. We ordered the slice of pie and it tasted fantastic. The food left a little bit to be desired. She ordered a BLT sandwich and I ordered the chicken pot pie. Both of us for the food weren't as great. We can basically do a better job at home. The total came to be $32 which was a little bit on the high side. It was like the food wasn't cooked thoroughly. It was Luke warm when it arrived on our table. Basically I ordered a pie any day but won't eat at the same restaurant.

My wife and I have been coming here frequently since they opened this location, we enjoy the food and the atmosphere. We noticed as the years went by that the food and quality of service only kept getting better! Small changes and big changes! I also thought I wrote a review but apparently I didn't get around to posting it 😅

Came to eat slices of pie and cake. German chocolate cake was good. Coconut cream pie was not so good. A bit old and had a bit of off taste. Pumpkin pie was very good. The cream puff was good, also. Too bad I really wanted the coconut cream pie to be good. Just and old piece of pie. Couldn't eat it.

I’m immediately welcomed when I come in. The Hostesses were courteous since I wasn’t sure if I was dining in with family. Makayla was gracious and fast. She offered me alcohol but unfortunately, I forgot my wallet and I’m driving, haha! She kept a really good attitude. I didn’t very much like my burger— for personal reasons, the loaded baked potato was delicious and I’m not picky, I just didn’t like it. The manager checked in which I appreciated and took it off my bill— which I was grateful for, I didn’t mind paying, I just wasn’t a fan, I was still willing to pay. Overall a very good experience— good energy and good attitude. The hostess Brooke offered me some delicious sweets but I had to refuse. She was helpful and apologetic about my food, which, again, I was very grateful for. Till next time!

Had a terrible first experience and I’m glad we gave this place another try. We now eat here pretty regularly after a phenomenal second try. Although the menu is very extensive, practically everything is good here. Love their bagel breakfast sandwich and dutch apple pie. House coffee is good too. Eggs are fresh and nothing taste’s processed or fake. Love this spot
